One of the best small animal vets I have been to. Emergency appointment within half an hour. I like a pragmatic vet that gets on with the problem and no faff, perfect. Fair prices, all staff were friendly and helpful

I cannot praise these guys enough. Our puppy fractured her leg at 5 months old. Dermot and his team couldn’t have done more. She was operated on within 24hours and the post op care was second to none. From the reception staff, the team at Market Drayton, Dermot and the nurses behind the seems our puppy received 5* care and treatment. They treat every animal as if they are their own and what more could you ask for as an animal owner.

I have recently started using Tern Vets for my dogs after 40+ years with my previous vets practice. I have found everyone I have met or had any dealings with to be extremely helpful, very pleasant and friendly and nothing has been too much trouble for them. The fact that I have had my litter of 8 puppies seen at home and not had to struggle to get them all to the practice is simply amazing. I would most definitely recommend Tern Vets for convenience, friendliness of its staff, value for money and being interested, kind and thoughtful with my dogs.

Great experience so far! I wanted to register my new puppy and have him checked within 2 days of picking him up in case of any issues as the breeder advised. The ‘other’ vets in town were not really interested in accommodating this request so went to Tern instead and we are now very happy long term customers :) thank you for making us feel welcome and checking him over, and as first time dog owners we are happy to have found such a great vets.

I recently changed to Tern vets and very happy I did. I was very concerned about my dog as she was having difficulty eating. She was quickly diagnosed and after a week of medication I am happy to say she is now better. A very professional friendly practice with an empathy for your pets.

Tern Vets in Newport Shropshire is one of the best vets that we have ever used, when the vet comes out to collect your pet you can ask them anything about your pet that they are not seeing them about on the day and they are quite happy to answer any questions and advice you about any possible future treatment that your pet may need. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and you can always make an appointment to suit your needs. I would not use any other vets now as i know my pets are in safe hands, highly recommended.

All our three cats are registered with Tern Vets we have every confidence in them. Ruby was unwell so we made an appointment for her. It was very Covid secure and although we could not go in with her. We were informed if the treatment she received and the problems she was having. Ruby is well now

Used this vet practice as a last resort since I couldn't get an appointment at my usual vets, however am certainly considering changing to them full time! Tern vets saw him that day. Friendly staff and comfortable waiting room, vets very thorough and good at explaining the situation to you and possible avenues of treatment. Got my dog back on his feet in next to no time and I also found the price surprisingly reasonable considering the standard of facilities and the extent of care.

One of the outside cats became ill last week. Thomasina, she was an old cat & was shutting down. Lucca looked after her so carefully & kindly. She tried her on a drip overnight but it didn't work. Covid meant that I couldn't be with her when she was put to sleep but I know Lucca stayed with her . She totally understood my situation & my sadness. We had a beautiful card from the surgery to say how sorry everyone was that Thomasina had died. I feel so lucky that we have vets like Tern who care about their patients & their humans, Thank you.
