Knowing how scared his is, they took their time with him, gave him lots of fuss and spent lots of time with him. They kept me updated with every aspect of his care, our options and cost. They took extremely good care of him when he was very poorly.

They check up with phone calls if your pet has just had an op and always have advise when asked. Their prices are very reasonable and 100% worth every penny. L. H.I have been using white cross for a few years now and when my dog was diagnosed with Crohn’s they did all they could before referring him to a specialist. Now back being managed at white cross for my German shepherd, Harvey and elderly cat angel who also has a serious long term illness, I am at white cross regularly. I can honestly say it’s the staff that make that practice what it is. They are knowledgeable, reliable, understanding and most of all friendly. Two ladies usually help me with my pets as they are very aware of the conditions and treatments and these two ladies are amazing. Harvey loves going to see Rosie and Alessandra. I am also unwell and they have gone above and beyond to help Harvey, angel and I. All the other staff I have encountered have also all been wonderful and I am so happy to have their support

E. S.The staff are always so lovely and friendly. Every time I arrive at the surgery or call in, I’m greeted with a smile. My cat gets very anxious, and the vets are always conscious of this and do their best to accommodate him whilst treating him. This is my first Sphynx and I’ve definitely been overly cautious with various things in the past, and the vets have never made me feel silly for calling in to query something and have always been incredibly helpful and reassuring.

They is a lovely inviting ethos to which they answer all questions quickly. C. B.I have always found the staff at Whitecross Veterinary Practice to be polite, respectful, caring and compassionate. I know my pet is in safe hands. The vets & veterinary nurses really listen to any concerns you have and offer good advice without being patronising unlike some practices I’ve visited in the past. Visiting a vet can be very costly and I have always found the staff to be mindful of this. I have an elderly dog and cannot get affordable pet insurance. The staff are aware of this and will always look for the most affordable treatment without compromise, which is very refreshing.

p.Took Toby ( my Jack Russell) to have his nails clipped and annul glands emptying (Nice!).... not a visit to see a Vet but one of the lovely Vets Nurses.... Toby returned to me, nails clipped and glands emptied snuggling up to his Nurse covering her with dog hairs. Wonderful little Surgery... so pleased I took out the Wellness Programme. 5 stars all round 🐶🐾🐶🐾
My little man (Toby the Jack Russell) now 9 years old had to visit Christina (the lovely Vet). Over the Christmas period I had found a lump on Toby’s side. Of course my worrying went in to overdrive. Christina was lovely, she explained all the options and put my mind at rest. I am still waiting on the Lab results of the sample that Christina sent to them. I will of course put Toby in their very capable hands if it proves necessary. 🐶🐾🐶🐾
J. K.Great service, offer plenty of info and options. Very happy. Have had 2 cats registered since 2013 and now added our new kitten. I don't do the pet plan but it's not compulsory and they seem to enjoy talking about your pet and giving advice about the best care. Would highly recommend.
Just to add, 'new kitten ' Menace, got an abcess, service from white cross vets was one again amazing. Friendly team, great atmosphere, really helpful. I sent email and photos, then they let me take a cancelled appointment. Really pleased with the way Rosie treated him, kind efficient and reassuring. Thank you.
K. W.Barney loves his visits to the vets, he gets lots of fuss and care is taken to ensure the vet/patient relationship is restored prior to leaving after the not so nice procedures which helps me keep it as a positive outing and easy to maintain his health checks.
The other thing I really appreciate is the care taken to explain options and plans for the best outcome for pet and owner in the short and long term.

S. M.White Cross have always been excellent, great customer service, staff are friendly and helpful! They will always fit you in if you are particularly worried about a pet. All staff are always attentive to my pets especially my dog who loves coming to the vets and loves a fuss before being seen!

I was told to go down and I was seen within an hour which I think is fantastic for an emergency.
Esme who checked her over was so caring and most importantly, honest. She explained everything that would happen with the treatment required and what the cost would be so there was no costly suprises.
I recommend White Cross to everyone as it’s hard to find a vets that shows genuine concern, honesty and that is very reasonable in price.

As soon as Cora sees her just jumping up and down, covering her in kisses, she doesn't do that with everyone though, so definitely dogs can feel a good human being! R. H.My elderly cat had been having problems and I was concerned that something was seriously wrong. The vet did a blood test which came back ok. He was still worried as she has been losing weight. You could see that he really cared and he was very positive that he could sort it. She has been put on a special diet and already she is perky and has put on weight. White Cross are always friendly and show genuine concern for your pet. I would certainly recommend them.

S. B.Our little boy (cat) has been registered with them since he was 6 months old and he's 5 now. We are on their complete wellness plan and we had to take him in this morning after he had spent the night out and we noticed he was injured. We called and got an appointment within an hour. The vets are so caring and gentle. Couldn't recommend them enough! I just wish my doctor's surgery was that good!

I wanted my dog to be fed his raw food after castration op, no problem. It’s little things like that, taking the owners wishes into consideration, that has encouraged family and friends to change their vets to here. Our vet Amy is outstanding, she has seen Rueben since we have had him at eight weeks old, and has helped us through a difficult period of problems and illness. I would (and have) recommended these vets, they are the best in town.
D. U.One morning last month I called at 8.30 for an to see our cat (who was sneezing lots and very snotty) .. they saw me at 10.30. Diagnosed, injected and course of antibiotics and now all is well.
Was in this month to get the Cat and Dog booster vaccinations. All done with thorough efficiency. What I love about White Cross is their genuine love of animals and from my experience it is not about making money (good advice and awareness of the costs to their customers).

B.Fantastic service. Could not recommend highly enough. Phoned up late on a Saturday afternoon after a bad experience with another vet. Was asked to come straight down and was seen by Esme immediately. She was amazing, checked our beloved cat and was able to give advice and reassurance. Couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. We have their pet plan for general service, checks inclusive, ad innoculations, and yearly checkup.
H. F.Excellent vets, but from a cat owners point of view, the waiting area is not really geared up for cats. Mine is an indoor cat so vet visits are traumatic enough without dogs barking. Separate cat and dog waiting rooms would be a help. The new cat shelving is a good idea but I prefer to hold my cat carrier so she feels safer.
G. H.My dog Peach was not eating properly and was rather lethargic I phoned to make an appointment and was given one that evening. The receptionist and vet were, as usual very friendly and helpful. The vet listened carefully to my concerns gave Peach a thorough check over but couldn't find anything to be worried about.

S.I had been to three other vets regarding my dogs skin condition and they didn’t know what it was. Upon my first visit with the super staff my dog was diagnosed and happy again. I really can not fault this practice. Each member of the team I meet are friendly and helpful.

M. W.Charlie is always very well looked after by the team at White Cross Vets Northampton, more recently following his recent op. He loves visiting the vets anyway (I think it might be the treats!). The pet plan is also brilliant and includes everything needed for a pet's wellbeing - vaccinations, flea and worming treatment, annual health check and even nail clipping when needed. I'm hoping his latest visit for 'the op' hasn't put him off - he's having a few days quietly recuperating (and trying not to lick his wounds) - a great team, highly recommended :-)
V.Very happy to finally find a practice with knowledgeable staff on rats! You would be surprised how many vets I’ve been to that have little to no knowledge on rats, but here you can rest assured that your furry friends will be more than well taken care of. On my first visit I was asked questions about my cage size, enrichment in cage, playtime, food, interactions between my ratties and concerns I may have. I was informed about the main illness a rat can catch and how to spot symptoms/how to prevent them. The rats had a thorough examination of their breathing (which I was very happy about since they’re knows to easily catch respiratory infections) and were checked for any lumps and bumps. Then I was also advised how to help my rats not gain weight by hiding food around the cage and other tips. I walked out feeling incredibly at ease. Will definitely be registering my dog here. The no fee at registration and free first visit is also such a catch👍🏻 Thank you❤️

Recently Kush damaged a knee ligament and last week had her operation. Throughout staff have taken time to explain treatment options, give clear advice and answer questions. They provided excellent care to Kush. The communication was excellent both whilst at the surgery and by telephone. Keeping me informed and providing aftercare contact.
Only a week post operation but Kush recovering well already.

S. C.I have brought my 7 cats to White Cross Vets for the past 5 years or more. Whenever I need veterinary care for any of them they have always been very kind and considerate to me and fur babies. My kitties are like my children as I can't have any children myself, so this means the world to me. I visited the vets today (27/10/19) with my eldest boy (14yrs old). Unfortunately he looks like he has an over active thyroid. The nurse who took my check up appointment was very caring and treated Smokey like one of her own. This is why I come back to White Cross because I stayed away from a previous vets (PDSA, Northampton Town centre) because of their lack of kindness and consideration. In my eyes if you not that way inclined you should not have a job dealing with any type of animal or human being.
A+ service White Cross your the best 😁👍🏼Keep it up.
P. S - I was saderned to hear when I arrived for todays appointment that they had just got burgled last night which meant computer systems ect where down or slow.
Who in their right mind would break into a vets and leave the valuable computer technology and steal the landline phone. Couldn't understand that way of thinking let alone break into a vets that helps alot of ill and sick animals. Cruel individuals. I hope they get caught or they will have their come upants one day.

F. B.IV only just recently joined this vet. I registered my pet with Abington park vets and i had a terrible experience there! I didn't like how the veteran was with my pet an in general I wasn't happy with the customer service there. I then registered with White Cross Vets the atmosphere, veteran and customer service here is great! White cross have a monthly plan and you can save so much money than if u were to be registered with other vets. When i had my pet registered with Abington park vets everything was so pricey and unaffordable.

Both my partner and I have been pleasantly surprised that as a whole from the front of house to the vets themselves including the care they have given our pets at White Cross is outstanding... even when you call the vets, their telephone manner and as people shows how approachable they are. Therefore we both give White Cross 5 stars.

K. C. F.I just want to say that we are so grateful for how they look after our pets, they recognise that they are part of the family. I have my cats n dog registered with them. When my elderly cat had 2 b put 2 sleep they didn't rush us n even sent a sympathy card through the post. When my other cat got hurt recently they managed to get us seen quickly on more than 1 occasion. They have even stayed open on 1 occasion late 4 an extra 15 minutes just so I could pick some meds up. Would recommend them to anyone.

R.Had a bad experience when I took my dog there to be put to sleep instead of injecting the dog all of the doze I ended having the needle sticking out my leg I ended up with an infection due to this was very disappointed that they didn’t have the time to call to see if I was ok I’d just put my dog to rest but since then as there local I choose to give them another go I now have two dogs with them in the pet plan which is amazing and the staff well they go out there way I have such a bog puppy 47kilo already at 10 months she just wants kisses and cuddles and can’t wait to go in the door there patient caring and gone that extra mile through the first lockdown and really grateful for everything they do would recommend to anyone thanks again
