We took our cat to Medivet in Thorpe as he was suffering from an acute bladder problem. It was sorted expertly, with such care and compassion, and most of all , outstanding knowledge of the problem and the treatment required. We felt he was in the best possible hands. No qualms about recommending this clinic whatsoever. We are so grateful!

This is an excellent practice with fantastic kind, caring and very well trained Staff. As previously stated in my review earlier this year, Gerhard is a very highly experienced and skilled Vet and knows all his regular patients needs and requirements and even their names! You never feel you are just another patient at this practice, you and your animal, in my case, a Dog, feel you are getting the very best in care! This practice is, by far, the best I have ever been to! My dog Dave, actually gets excited when he gets there and loves going! Thank you to everyone at this practice! I would never go anywhere else! Exceptional service, kind, caring and attentive staff, and Gerhard in particular, is a very highly skilled and talented Vet!! In 35 years of owning dogs and living in other areas, this practice is, by far, the best I have been too - I have, and will continue to tell everyone how wonderful they are! The admin staff and veterinary nurses are always courteous and very helpful. The phones are answered promptly and calls are returned when promised. Gerhard and the other vets are thorough, patient and take the time to listen carefully. When the problem is unusual they make the effort to use outside resources to aid in making an accurate diagnosis. When things are really bad, they and all the staff are caring and helpful. Vet bills can be expensive, but I've never felt that I have been unfairly charged for what I have received. I don't think there is much more you could ask from your vet. One of my dogs and my cat were seen by Thorpe Veterinary Clinic from 2012, when I moved to Norfolk, until the end of their natural lives. My remaining dog, who started with Thorpe in 2012 at age 1 year will, I hope, continue to be under their care for the rest of her life. That is the highest recommendation I can give.

Friendly, efficient staff. No ridiculously long wait to get appointment. Wonderful vet, who managed 3 pups with ease and gave fantastic advice. Other long term customers there who had great confidence in the surgery, which is very reassuring.

I wouldn't go anywhere else even though they're 40mins away and there's a vet near me just 5 mins away. Every member of staff I encountered was absolutely wonderful. Most of them I remember from the last time my cat needed care and that was instantly reassuring for me. They're all very good, caring people and I'd easily trust my pets in their care again. No problems with the price considering I don't have insurance and my cat had a lot of problems. They're very honest about how things might be cheaper online than through them but price difference is understandable, virtual providers have many opportunities to cut costs compared to physical establishment.

I really feel my pet got the best care and as vets go it is not expensive. Gerhard was the name of the vet I saw. The nurse will make the insurance claim for you. I have been going to this vets for over 10 years and the quality of care has been consistently high.

Exellent treatment. I find the senior vet very caring, experienced and wise.All the staff are good. Reasonable prices as vets go, no charge for some follow up visits. I feel none of them are in in just for the money. I have used them for about 15 years and cannot recomend them enough.
