The staff are absolutely brilliant, both with me as a scatterbrained owner and with my extremely nervous, special needs rescue dog. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate, and will go out of their way to be helpful. The premises are very easily accessible, with plenty of parking, and always pristine. The practice has adapted to lockdown and less severe Covid-related restrictions superbly. There are five dogs across my family, and none of us would consider going elsewhere.

This is an exceptional vets practice. I moved here a couple of years ago, having spent 20+ years being treated like a VIP at my previous vets - who counted me and my cats as family, going above and beyond on many occasions, and forming a very close bond. When I moved here I never thought I'd be lucky enough to find another vets who could be so amazing. But by extraordinary good luck I found Anne and Carla, who have been the best replacement imaginable. I love everything about Meadowbank and its staff, whose warmth, kindness, and expertise make me feel as safe here as I did at my former practice. Special mention to Carla, whose superhuman patience and genuine compassion have saved my sanity several times. I am not an easy customer, as I am very demanding and neurotic about my beloved animals, yet Carla has never lost patience with me, or made me feel bad about myself. Her positivity and cheerfulness are as valuable to me as the excellent veterinary care provided by Anne. I can't praise them highly enough.

Great vets, my retriever had huge anxiety issues after being to other vets where he was treated as an income rather than part of my family, but when I moved to the area Anne and her team are so understanding and have worked hard to put him at ease and now he is so much better. They always accommodate him and having had ops as well as his regular check ups over the last 3 years it's safe to say I am very happy with this practice. Keep up the good work guys.

Lovely, friendly vets. Anne and her nurses have looked after all our dogs and cat over the past 20 odd years and has always been there for us in the good times as well as the sad times. I would highly recommend Meadowbank, as well as getting a professional service, you always get a personal service as Anne and her nurses take the time to get to know the person as well as the pet.

This is the most fabulous vets I have found. I moved around a bit with my late cat and Anne, Carla and the team at Meadowbank took over the care of her in her last few years when we moved to the area. Everything was very well explained and all choices given in a sensitive and caring manner. There was never any pressure to make any decisions and they worked with me to manage my cat's conditions (arthritis, CRF and sudden onset blindness from high blood pressure) to keep my cat as pain free and happy as possible until the day came we decided there was nothing more to be done. I collected her ashes today and Carla helped me to send some to ashes into glass and they even gave me a card expressing their sympathy. Never have I encountered a vets with such a personal touch and I highly recommend the team for all your furry one's needs.

Just come back from my first visit to this vets after feeling the need to change my vets after a terrible experience at my old one. Super easy to find (once you actually spot the sign 😂) and the staff are friendly. They defiantly know their stuff. I’ve had rabbits for years and I learnt some new information. Was even given an information pack along with my vaccination book. The pack included a ‘hop to it’ magazine that I cannot put down! This vets are much much much better on pricing also. I paid less but received more regarding health and information on my newest rescue rabbit. My rabbit Bunbun approves this vets also 🐰

5* care for your pet at an affordable price.Always time to explain any treatment or problems you may have.They saved my cats life.Tests were done nothing showed up,then an xray nothing again.A decision was made to operate and quite a number of struvite stones were removed.Had the decision to operate not been taken my cat would now probably not be here.She is now 14 years old now. I can never thank them enough.I didn't have insurance and found the costs to be more than reasonable and i'm not rich.I recommend them to everyone.

My family having been going to Anne since I was a child, with many animals, dogs, cats, ferrets and rats. Anne always does her best and does right by your animal friend, supporting you when the decision you have to make is heartbreaking. I will never forget the care she gave to my very elderly jack russell, Toby. He developed and ulcer on his eye at the age of 19 due to a growth on his eyelid. I was anticipating being told that there was nothing that could be done because of his age, despite him being a otherwise well. To my surprise Anne considered everything and offered to operate on his eye. Toby was with me for another year thanks to Anne's efforts. When he let me know that he was ready to leave us, his arthritis had gotten too much, Anne took his pain away as I stroked him. It was heart breaking, I'm crying writing this, but Anne and her team made it bearable for me. Thankyou.
