The staff are all friendly and were great when my sphynx cat was taken in in an emergency. When I collected her ashes the staff were brilliant too. I highly recommend.

Best Friends are our emergency vet but have always been very helpful and compassionate. They treated my wonderful boy, Tango, with so much love and when the decision had to be made to PTS they used the room especially for this. No rushing, all in our and Tango's time. Received a lovely card from them, even though they aren't our usual vets, and also informed our vets too helping to take away the pain of having to tell them also. Highly recommend them

Our Megg became very poorley early in the morning and the lovely night vet Guilia was there to help her. So happy with the way she treated Megg who was in the hospital for 2 days. In the day she was looked after by Veronica who kept us updated on a regular basis and her knowledge was spot on. Can i just say that both Vets are a real credit to you and for us we felt Megg was in safe hands. Megg normally sees the talented and caring Dr Sarah who has restored our faith in animal care after a bad experience with another independant surgery. UPDATE: Megg had a serious liver problem appear and spent 2 days in the hospital......All the way through the vets and nurses were there for Megg and indeed for us as a family, always answering the 1001 questions we had. Megg is now on the mend with the liver peoblem but being a disabled little girl there are always going to be problems, but we know that if we pick up the phone THEY ARE THERE FOR MEGG AND US. THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS

I lost my beloved pet Lilly on the 15th of December 2021 I found best friends veterinary staff absolutely amazing what they have done for me and the sympathy and compassion that they have given me is out of this world I highly recommend best friends back to anybody the understanding and compassion that I received off an amazing receptionist Amanda words can't express how much I appreciated all the listening of me crying she had understanding and empathy and compassion and I just want to thank all the staff for what they tried to do do you are all amazing and it all boils down to the animal in your eyes nothing compares to the animal and it's not all about money I think you do an amazing job and I think you are one of the best vets in Peterborough so I thank you from the bottom of my heart love lilly family xxx

First visit to this practice, I normally attend my local Best Friends practice but for was unable to get an appointment their. Found the place easily, easy to park, my dog can be anxious about the vets but the set up here was great. We were able to sit in a sheltered area quietly away from other animals, he remained calm. Was treated well, everything was explained and everyone at the practice made me feel like they had plenty of time to discuss options and answer questions. I would happily come back here.

I travel an hour to get to this veterinary practice, but it's worth it. Pets are treated with great respect and care, lots of open space within the practice so you can separate your pet if you feel the need to and it's well equipped I.e x-ray machines etc.

Stuart c - 2018 - I had a really good experience here, a sunday morning emergency visit for my dog oscar who had an allergic reaction.. this was the emergency vets not our own. Our dog swallowed an ibuprofen tablet on a Sunday morning. Our own vet’s emergency line didn’t work so after ringing another vet in the area I was given this number. They couldn’t have been kinder to us or our dog. She was taken away for immediate treatment and kept under observation until the evening when we picked her up after the blood test results came back as normal. I wish we lived in Peterborough - the vet and the staff were great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

It's my daughter's experience I'm posting . She had her Tamaskan puppy neutered at this hospital and was totally happy with every aspect of his care . They even rang to explain they needed to sedate him before taking blood as he was so anxious and getting distressed . He came home happy and unfazed . The wound was minimal and clean , after care was excellent . My poodle is now booked in for spaying next week with my full confidence .

After reading the reviews for this veterinary practice I was a little worried, but have no fear! The service here was fantastic. Total reassurance from start to finish. My SBT (Millie) has just had TPLO surgery and couldn't fault anything. Well worth all the trips back and forth from corby. Remember people only tend to leave negative feedback.

The surgery closed at 7pm last night but they were understanding and kind enough to allow me to pick up a collar and lead that my family had left behind. Their beloved Lucy was put to sleep and in the emotions of it all they drove home without her things - they don't live in Peterborough. The surgery opened their doors to me after hours to allow me to collect her things and could not have been more understanding. The family of Lucy are grateful for this gesture.
