I can't praise Vets now in Peterborough enough. I had to take my dog in in an emergency on a Saturday evening, everyone was so friendly and caring from the first phone call. Everything was explained to me on the phone before I arrived and they spoke through everything with me whilst I was there.
Sadly I had to put my dog to sleep and the vets was so caring and patient with me, gave me plenty of time with him and were so sympathetic right upto collecting his ashes! I got a lovely sympathy card through the post which I thought was so thoughtful. Their compassion made such a difficult situation that little bit easier, thank you so much for all you have done!

All the staff at vets now we're amazing. They were so kind to me & my darling Daisy dog in her last hours. The cost was also really good for early Sunday compared to my normal vets! Highly recommend.Thank you

Anna and the out of hours team looked after my little girl cat with the upmost care and attention. It was quite clear whilst waiting to be seen that every animal is given the same time, attention and compassion. Sometimes the diagnosis isn’t what we want to hear but the care given to your beloved fur kid helps ease things for you in these painful times. Thank you for being so kind and understanding.

The service and care taken to treat our cat was superb, and faultless. Your entire staff showed genuine concern. Our only criticism is the cost of nearly £1200.00, for out of hrs care. As pensioners, this has hit us hard.

My little boy rabbit had to spend the night at Vetsnow in Peterborough as he wouldn't eat and was lethargic. They attached a drip and syringe fed him overnight and gave him meds. They saved his life so although still not right, I an so grateful for what they did

Lovely staff and vet they see my dog very quickly, but they charged me £276 just for my dog to been seen gave her a blood test and anti sickness jab, and kept her in a cool room to cool down to be told she has reflux and gas altogether it cost me £497 for an hour, I no the vets only work there and its not there fault but this is outrageous and seriously expensive

As a pet owner you are looking for care, compassion and commitment when you chose a vet and I can honestly say I have found it here. All of the staff are amazing and it is abundantly clear that they genuinely care. Sadly I had to let my cat go but it was done with the minimum stress to him in a quiet cosy room. They also paid great attention to me in my distress and were all lovely. I can’t speak highly enough of them.

Unfortunately while ago I had to come to a decision to put my cat to sleep, I never thought I would have to do it 😔 he is in a better place now and I want to thank Vets Now for taking him in & caring of him before I got there and after he was gone.

The staff were fabulous. They were my out of hours vets so not my normal vets. But they were lovely. They were very honest but gave me all the choices that were available. Even with my heart breaking decision they showed Compassion and supported me. From the on call vet to the receptionist they were great. Quick to deal with my phonecalls etc. And they ensured my fur baby had a dignified end and even wrapped her up for me to bury her at home. They even sent me some forget me not seeds and a card in the post.
Fantastic service.

Our cat injured himself and our vet was closed Good Friday and Vets Now were the practice covering. They were helpful and explained the costs upfront before I booked our cat in for treatment, they also explained I had to ring on arrival and wait in the car outside and they would come out to collect our cat from us and we needed a mask on when they did.
Our cat was triaged and we had a phone consultation with a vet who explained the treatment plan and answered any questions. Then a receptionist rang me and I paid over the phone with my debit card, she asked if our cat was insured and explained what I needed to do to claim and how for a £16 fee they would assist in completing the claim, then a few minutes later our cat was brought out to us and the nurse explained the medications again (the vet had already done this) and we were given an itemised bill and receipt.
The practice was very busy, the car park was full, they had emergencies but they were kind and compassionate and did not rush us at any stage of the process, it took 2 hours from arrival to leaving, but the professional service provided was well worth the time. I would not hesitate to use their excellent services again.

Amazing place really! We had to take our puppy to the vets as he needed treatment urgently and on Christmas day you're not going to find anywhere open so I was so grateful for vets now being open as we managed to get our puppy the treatment he so desperately needed. On top of that generally lovely people that work there, my car was choosing to play up so couldn't drive it home, long story short they were nice enough to let the car stay on there property why I waited for it to be fixed and eventually it did about 5 hours later... on Christmas day! When I wanted to be home enjoying Christmas so did everybody in that vets so honestly hats off to everybody who works on days like that, it is truly appreciated.

Zoe was amazing!!! A brilliant vet who showed she cared and had my cats best interest at heart! Full of knowledge. She gave me confidence Leo was in good hands, she fully explained everything so that I understood, kept me up to date and made sure I was just as happy as Leo was. It’s a shame she is an emergency vet as I would defiantly go to her practise if possible. She gave me back a little bit of confidence in vets, as my previous experience hasn’t been as good as this one. Couldn’t thank her enough!!! I have anxiety and not having my baby with me was daunting, but Zoe put me at complete ease. Thankyou Zoe!!! :)

Our 9 year old lab Zac was looking poorly Saturday afternoon. He couldn’t get up And was lying on the grass quiet and not himself. He seemed to struggle. We weren’t sure if he’d had a seizure or not. I was very concerned in change in his energy levels and was panting a lot. I called our vets and was put through to the out of ours service vets now. We took zac to the vets in Peterborough (nearest practice to us)Pengelly & Mizen where vets now are based and he was seen and assessed by the team there. They were all brilliant and very professional from the lady I spoke to arrange the appointment, the receptionist to the vet And the nurse who brought him out . She helped me lift Zac into the car . The vet, carol Carol Jones assessed him and then took the steps necessary to rule out anything sinister. She was very clear in explaining exactly what she was going to do and what she did and how to follow it up. She was very reassuring and provided exceptional service. Thank you for all your help Saturday afternoon. I won’t hesitate recommending this service / practice to anyone.

Required an emergency vet out of hours and the whole team from initial phone call to discuss the matter to collecting Gnotti after treatment was handled by sympathetic and welcoming staff.
Received a phone call whilst waiting in the car to confirm what had been discovered and the treatment suggested by the nurse which is an indication of their extremely professional and sympathetic demeanour.
Gnotti was treated and back in the car within an hour, handed over by the nurse who had taken him in.
I highly recommend the practice, based on this visit, and wish the team all the very best.
Gnotti is now back at home, fast asleep and comfortable, thanks entirely to their quality of care.

A couple of weeks ago I had an emergency appointment in the early hours with my young cat. Initially frustrated with having to go through a verbal registration type process on the phone when my only concern was a cat in a great deal of pain and distress, I was also unhappy with having to wait outside when my regular daytime vets are happy for us to 'mask up' and enter the exact same treatment rooms. Shortly after diagnosis my experience changed. My cats condition was serious and the outcome was not good at all and the difficult decision was made to put him to sleep. The way the vet handled the delivery of information of his condition and the euthanasia process was so very thorough and compassionate and although I struggled with the outcome initially, looking back he could not have done any more and I was with my Alfie at the end. Thank you for the thoughtful card and seeds, that kind gesture meant so much at a sad time. I don't recall the vets name but if my thanks could be passed on I'd greatly appreciate it.

The service was good. However, my Sunday 'appointment ' was for 11.30...only to be told on arrival that the system was more like A&E. Fair enough..other animals had priority over mine. Over an hour later my dog's treatment lasting 10 mins cost me £319. The bandage and its application cost over £40. Animals, like humans, can be ill or injured any day if the week, so why charge such exorbitant prices at weekends? Amazon sells 6 rolls of animal bandages for under £10!!!! 🙄

I cannot begin to thank the staff enough for literally saving our little bichons life.after a nasty allergic reaction to something we don't know her breathing was worringingly high and after quick actions from Hampton vets and vets now she was returned to us the next day it could have been so different a big thank you to the team.

Fantastic Service. I took my very poorly dog in at 7pm on Friday 21st Feb 2020, and the vet on duty (sorry I was too upset to catch your name!) was absolutely lovely. She went through plans, reassured me, answered any questions and made me feel at ease leaving my little man there. The excellent care continued over the weekend with vets Carol and Zoe and the team on duty, keeping me updated, giving me options and caring for him as if he were their own.
I felt I could ask any questions, call and visit at anytime.
I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!!
Thankyou all so much,
From Alex and Pickles!

Not my usual vet but an emergency vet (for our vets) If i could give more stars i would. They truly looked after my dog (Paddy). They went above and beyond what my usual vet would have done in the same situation. Will definitely be returning if needed.

We were very pleased with Vets Now as we believe they probably saved our dogs life. They were very friendly and helpful and arranged for his admission to the Cambridge Vet Hospital School for further treatment.
The one downside was we ended up paying over £1,000 for his treatment and care for one day and one night but when we picked him up early the next morning to take him to Cambridge he was covered in dried diarrhoea which he had obviously been laying in for some time. They did apologise but we believe they should have kept him clean. They had given him drugs which caused diarrhoea as part of his treatment so the problem would not have been a surprise to them.
We then had to drive 50 miles and present him to the hospital in a filthy state.

The vets were absolutely amazing at a stressful time for me and my cat thank you all!!

Had to rush my Labrador to the Vets on Saturday evening with a twisted gut. Vets Now we're excellent, they went through all the planned procedure and possible costs. Throughout the whole time Zoe the vet who performed the life saving operation kept us fully informed through this very stressful time. Thankfully the operation was a success and I can’t thank Vets Now enough for their dedication and understanding through this very difficult time.

We had to make two visits to Vets Now and our experiences couldn't have been more different. Our first visit on Saturday the 8th February was due to complications from a procedure carried out by our local Vet on our much loved dog Max.
Zoe was on duty and we couldn't have asked for more. After performing emergency surgery on Max, she phoned at 0400 on Sunday morning to provide an update on his condition. Her attitude at all times was caring and she took the time to explain things in layman terms. I wish there were more vets like Zoe.
Our second visit, a few days later, couldn't have been more different. Taking our very sick dog, in a significant amount of pain was awful. The staff were oblivious to our circumstances, laughing and joking amongst themselves.
When we eventually saw the vet (who shall remain nameless), after a 30+ minute wait, he was more concerned about the financial aspect of our visit than relieving Max's suffering. I almost had to beg him to help Max. We had been lulled into a false sense of security by Zoe's care and concern.
We had to make the heartbreaking decision to have Max put to sleep on the 11th February as he was in a significant amount of pain. The whole experience will haunt me forever.
I hope lessons can be learned from both the good and the bad experiences we had.

I recently took my very sick cat here. I didnt realise just how poorly she was . She was a much loved pet and the decision to have her put to sleep was absolutely heart breaking for me. During that time i was treated with absolute courtesy and with heartfelt sympathy. Thank you for making what was a horrendous time for me a bit more bearable. I really did appreciate the after care. It was so thoughtful and the card and the seeds meant a lot. So thank so you very much. Muriel Farrell

My dog managed to open a Christmas present on Christmas morning and eat a large number of chocolate truffles. Vets Now responded very quickly and treated my dog very well and quickly. Staff were very good and I was very happy with the service.

Just had to take my 19 year old Siamese cat to Vets Now. Vet Kam (? - terrible with names!) was so gentle and calm with her, and thoroughly explained all the options for her treatment. Not completely out of the woods due to her age, but my mind is now eased. Highly recommended, so glad this service is now available. Thank you.

My 8 week was nearly dead and thanks to the vets in Peterborough branch she’s home where she belongs. I can not thank them enough. It was the worst weekend off our life.Highly recommended. Fantastic staff from reception to vets. Thank you

Had to take my dog here on Christmas Day the experience was very stressful for my dog not helped by having to wait nearly one and a half hours to see the vet. It’s never the same as using your own vet as I’m aware but I found it stressful too . The vet gave my dog medication and did tell me verbally how to administer it but didn’t write it on the box which wasn’t so good .

Absolutely amazing care from the vet working last night (I think it was Sarah) she was lovely, informative and made us feel very at ease!
Thank you so much!

Lady we spoke to on the phone was so patient with me trying to explain everything and was so so helpful, was advised to bring my pup in and wow the vet we saw was amazing so patient not in a rush at all made my dog feel comfortable around him before examination which most vets we’ve been to haven’t even bothered checking him over because how snappy he is around stranger! Thankyou

Tonight took my dog to vets now, was very impressed with the service reasonley priced vet fees considering the time of night.gave treatment to dog and back home.

Couldn't have wished for more sympathetic help, both over the phone and in person with the vet. Only drawback was the cost of euthanasia - £300 seemed a huge amount.

If these guys weren’t emergencies only I would have them as my regular vets. Welcoming and most importantly great with my pup, knowledgable and I trust them 100%
