Could not rate It's the Vets highly enough! I have used them several times since I moved to Plympton with my cat Indie, and it has always been a positive experience, I doubt she is their easiest client but they really take their time with her (even when she is screaming the place down!). They are fast to respond to emails and will always listen to my concerns as an anxious cat parent. Thanks to them she is down a few troublesome teeth and finally on food that agrees with her. I recommend you guys to anyone that will listen!

The vets are excellent as my dog Leo is a regular down there. They take the time to explain things and is never rushed. And very easy to get a appointment. They treat Leo with care and kindness. So glad the vet is there. Very clean and relaxed waiting room, everyone is very polite friendly and welcoming

I’ve owned dogs for the last 20 years and have seen a number of vets in that time, some have been good and some not so much, but none have demonstrated the same level of concern for my dog as Larissa. It started with an enquiry via Messenger, which Larissa responded to almost immediately., listing exact cost of treatment and explaining the procedure and possible outcomes. The quote was significantly lower than the base price I had been quoted by my vet, and I was told that base price could have increased by 50% depending on treatment. I found this wholly unacceptable, which is why I chose Its the Vets, and I’m very glad I did. When I took Bert in for his assessment I was given a very thorough questionnaire, and so when Larissa came in to examine Bert, she was fully briefed on every aspect of his health and diet. She went out of her way to explain the issues that Bert had, and what she would do to treat them. I felt confident in her assessment and I was struck by the care and time she took during the consultation. I would not hesitate to recommend Larissa and It’s The Vets to anyone looking for the highest possible care and realistic and transparent pricing.

Can’t recommend this vets enough. The vets we went to previously we dreaded going to, I’m so glad to have found this one! The entire team are so helpful and friendly, the space itself is bright and open and just feels a much more positive environment to bring your animals. Our pup was spayed at It's the Vets. We were invited for a pre op chat with the lovely nurse Libby. She was great with both of us and put our minds at rest. On the day all went well, from the friendly reception staff to the nurse and vet. Couldn't have asked for more so very impressed with this surgery.

Moved to Devon recently, it's The VETS was recommended by a friend when we got our puppy. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the Vet were so friendly and knowledgeable. My puppy was so relaxed there. The place was very clean, looked great and sold a selection of food, toys and treats at very good prices.

We came to It's The Vets after a bad experience with another vets, and we are SOO relieved to have found them. The vet and vet nurse we have seen are excellent, allowing plenty of time to talk things through and let us ask questions. The receptionist team are also super knowledgeable and friendly. The waiting area is spacious with separate areas for cats/other small animals and dogs. And the price for our cat's dental procedure was significantly lower than what we were quoted at our previous vets. They're great.

Best vet we've ever used. Larissa is incredible with the animals and has a real connection with them, demonstrating empathy, compassion and knowledge about their requirements. She always takes time to explain everything clearly and in layman's terms so we understand what is happening with our pets. All the staff are welcoming, helpful, friendly and clearly care about animals. I highly recommend them.

This vet was an emergency visit that has now become our full time vet. Very big and clean, well organized with empathetic staff. We were spoken to calmly and in language we could understand also when dealing with the loss of one of our pets. Full of useful information they helped us and continue to help us with our other animals. Parking is a bit tight as its situated adjacent to some busy establishments but don't let that put you off. I recommend this Vets emergency or checkup.

After six weeks with my previous vet treating my dogs ear problem with antibiotics I decided to get another opinion and chose Its the Vets, So happy I did, one visit identified the ear problem was more serious than previously treated. it was dealt with immediately including including the need for a general anaesthetic in a most efficient way. I can give Its the Vets the highest recommend and without doubt the best Vets I have ever used as a pet owner for over thirty years

I recently had my 6 month old cat spayed here, and had a follow up appointment the next day to check her op. (& she's quite fiesty my little one when it comes to being handled!) But the vets were very understanding and great with her. I had a problem with her licking her wound profusely after she prized her body vest off a few days later. I phoned the vets and they saw her very soon after, and gave me excellent advice. All the vets and team are very accommodating and reassuring. I recommend this practice to all..

I really cannot recommend Larissa at Its the vets in a Plympton enough. The vets itself is very clean, spacious and welcoming. All the staff I have met so far are so lovely and friendly. My dog has been terrified of previous vets and Larissa (as well as reception staff!) have really taken the time and patience to help her overcome her fears! Larissa really has been amazing with our dog and both her competence and knowledge shine through. She really takes the time to listen to concerns and gives a helpful explanation of her diagnosis and rationale for her plan of treatment. As an overprotective dog owner who really wants he very best for her pet... I really would recommend this new vets any day of the week. Absolutely amazing!!!

From the initial consultation and health check, through regular correspondence and calls during treatment to the final payment and discharge. All practices should be like this, they are a credit to the profession and if you are looking for a vet - this is the one!
