Nirvana vets was recommended to us by our vet practice who have stopped doing home visits. We can 100% recommend them. Kate was amazing- she was compassionate, caring and professional. Time spent with Murphy during his passing was not an issue. Murphys journey over to rainbow bridge was as peaceful and stress free as we could have wished for. Thank you Kate.

At a very sad time in my life, Sam came to my house to put my loved little dog into her long sleep. He could not of been more sympathetic and kind. Never did I feel rushed and he just timed my last hour with her perfectly. If your baby hates the vets as mine did the option that Nivarna vets gives you to spend your last precious moments at home with them peaceful and not in fear then please use them. She passed away in my arms in total comfort with her mum. Thank you Sam for making an incredibly sad and hard time the best it could be.

Tiggy had been a wonderful friend and companion for more than 18 years. When his health made the decision unavoidable, the last thing we wanted was to have it hanging over us for long hours. We also wanted him to avoid the stress of a trip to the vets, which he was never fond of. One short phone call and a couple of hours later, Nirvana Vets arrived. No unnecessary drama. Immense understanding of our feelings. All we could have hoped for. Tiggy slept peacefully in the sun in his favourite spot in the garden and, for all he knows, he's still there. I just want to send the biggest thank you to Sam for making our Last moments with Millie so much easier to deal with. Millie was booked in with our vets for the Monday to say goodbye at home. Unfortunately we had to bring it forward. We were recommended Nirvana Vets by our own vets and he Managed to get me in the next day. Sam seemed to really care about Millie whilst he was there, fussing her and giving her treats (she's a beagle so sniffed them out) everything was really well explained which we were thankful for because else it would of been a massive shock. Sam gave us time to say our byes and even clipped her nails after so we could get a paw print. I cannot rate this company highly enough , they were sympathetic to our needs and Kate who came to euthanaise our beloved dog was absolutely fantastic. It wasn’t rushed and was done in a calm and relaxed environment in our own home . She genuinely made us feel relaxed and complimented us on our decision and was interested in our beloved dog . What I was really impressed with , we obviously paid a booking fee , but no money was asked for up front nor asked for immediately post losing our beloved dog . Thank you so much it made all the trauma in making our decision easier and we felt we gave our old boy the ending he deserved .

When it was time to say goodbye to my dear faithful old dog I was so happy to have found Sam and Kate from Nirvana Vets. Sam came to the house and after Darcy found him to be no threat he returned to his rug and went to sleep! From then on he was totally relaxed and quietly drifted off into his “forever sleep”. I used the services of Nirvana Vets on the 14th November. I knew the time had come to say Goodbye to my beautiful boy Brutus George. & I had to make the heart wrenching decision to let him pass over the 🌈. From the time Kate arrived she showed nothing but compassion, Kindness & Professionalism towards Brutus & Myself. When the time came it was Beautiful, so Peaceful. I laid on the floor holding Brutus, telling him how much I loved him & What Joy & Happiness he brought to my life. He went into a deep sleep ( snoring) then slipped peacefully away. You could not ask for a more professional and caring service. From the moment Ben arrived he treated us and our fur baby with the most caring and sensitive approach. I am carer for my elderly neighbour, Kim, whose pet dog, Buster, had been her companion for over 10 years. Buster had a speedy decline in health. Kim is housebound, and couldn’t go to the vets with Buster for standard euthanasia. She knew the time had coming for Buster to go over the rainbow bridge, so when she was given Nirvana’s details, she gave them a call. I’ll admit I had my doubts about this. But I was wrong. As soon as Sam arrived, he put Kim at ease, and explained every step of the process as he went along. Nothing happened until Kim was ready, and when the time came, Buster passed peacefully in Kim’s arms - as she had wanted. Sam was patient, caring and empathic throughout, maintaining respect for Kim and Buster at a very sad time. I can’t fault anything. I know when my little dog’s time comes, I will not hesitate to call in Nirvana Vets. They have the qualities so sadly lacking in commercialised vets practices now. Thank you Sam, I wish you all the very best in the future.

No matter how many dogs you have had, losing them does not get any easier. I was gutted when our vet of many years said he couldn't come to our house to help our much loved Dalmatian, Purdy, have her final sleep - BUT - they did call Nirvana Vets for me, and Sam telephoned. After 5 strokes, and numerous other neurological problems, we knew we had been on borrowed time, & we asked Sam to come to our home in the evening, 4 days later. The whole process was so compassionate - Sam arrived with treats (we have a younger dog too) - Purdy was extremely tired - but still managed the treats! - she was asleep in her own bed, after a full day, Sam sat on the floor with her, stroking her - she was so very calm. Nothing was hurried - everything was explained, and over the next hour our beautiful loyal, loving girl, stayed in her bed for her final sleep. We can't thank Sam enough, and will not hesitate to recommend him to all our dog-loving friends. We need a service like this, more importantly, our much loved pets need a service like this. I never knew there was an alternative way to say goodbye Until i rang my own vet’s for a home visit Which they couldn’t provide at the time but gave me Nirvana Vet’s details WOW !!!! Had to say goodbye to my most perfect amazing pup today. After being in the vets for a few days and still no idea if what was actually wrong with her, Sam read the paper work and explained exactly what was up with her. This made it so much easier to wrap my head around what my dog was feeling and how she was going to deteriorate. The worst had to happen and Sam made it as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
