We can't thank Duncan and his team enough for what they have done for us and Jasper over the years. Sadly Jasper passed on 30/09/2022 with his family around him. He was the light of our lives who gave us over 15 years of pure love, devotion and happiness and will be missed so much but sadly had to cross the rainbow bridge. Duncan and his team helped us up to the very end, ensuring Jasper was in no more pain, with compassion and dignity. We will not hesitate and would highly recommend Duncan and the team. We thank you so much for what you have done for us and especially Jasper. xx

A lovely caring practice where you the staff really understand that people and there pets have their own needs and requirements. I wish I went to them sooner as they cared for my beloved cat so well! They really made sure she was as comfortable as possible. Very honest where I felt like I was being sold medication just for a profit but actually for what was best for my cat at that time. When I get another pet I wouldn't hesitate to register them again.

Best vets I've ever encountered. Caring, precise and honest. Very reasonably priced, are compassionate and will not rip you off! I will never go with anybody else. They even managed to get ahold of a little cone after my poorly ferret went in for surgery which no vet prior could offer me! My other ferret despite all of my efforts, chewed his stitches out.

Excellent vet practice. Gets to know your pets and treats them thoroughly and with care. The whole team obviously want the best for each and every animal. I sadly had to take my cat to be put to sleep recently and the whole team were lovely. Nothing was rushed and we were left to grieve for as long as we needed to before being quietly let out the back way with no mention of bills or payment. We felt we were the practice's main priority throughout. Would thoroughly recommend this practice.

My dog, Rocky, had his annual vaccination. Duncan made a fuss of him which calmed him down. He then had a swab taken from his ear which showed he had a yeast infection. Ear wash was prescribed. A very professional and positive experience.

The most honest and trusted vet and team. I would not take my animals anywhere else. I have had hamsters, cat, rabbits and a dog and they have all been treated well. I love that I can pop in or call for advice and it is never any trouble. They even call me to check on progress if my animals have been ill.

Duncan is the best veterinarian that we have ever had, and has kept our Husky going for the last 12 years after another vet nearly killed her by wrongly prescribing antibiotics instead of probiotics when she was a puppy. We would not go anywhere else, even when we live in Cornwall; I have been suprised by some of the comments made here and only give credit where credit is due.

Duncan McWhirter is a fantastic vet and I couldn't reccomend him more. Having worked in kennels and experienced various medical issues in different breeds over the years, I already have quite a good knowledge base which Dancan accepts. He is always happy to further educate and explain, as well as listen to my thoughts. Finding a vet who will work with you is so important and I definately have that in Duncan.
