This particular vets4pets have always been more than kind and helpful every time we have visited. The receptionists are always very clear, organised and helpful, the same goes with the vets and veterinary nurses. I do have to say though, every time I have been there, I leave feeling utterly ripped off. I'd do anything for my pup and pay anything to help him, but when I search for the medications or creams that Vets4Pets have given us and find out they have charged us close to 10x the amount they're actually worth, it does anger me. I understand it's how the company survives, but it's a complete rip off. I'll definitely start getting the medication else where from now on, but after I've had a consultation at Vets4Pets Plymouth.

With Rik being a Lurcher he can be tricky sometimes and doesn't like to be poked at but the Vets at Vets4pets Plymouth are amazing with him.

Vets 4 pets Plymouth is a lovely veterinary company based at the back of pets at home. Their customer service I can not fault and they have amazing respect for you and your pet to the point where they put an electric candle out if you are saying goodbye to your bestfriend. They are wheelchair/pushchair friendly as it's a flat entrance into the shop and they have plenty of parking so if you need more space you'll always find a spot with free space either side. Prices are reasonable and booking an appointment is always easy on the phone.

The vet was excellent, he explained everything to me about caring for Milo. Answering all my questions in simple detail which I could comprehend and gave me advice on the best way forward. The receptionist staff were also excellent. Thank you for my first experience at Pets at Home. I would not hesitate to highly recommend your services.

I took my kitten in for her neutoring op. Everyone was very friendly but proessional, and the vet was expecially kind with her, efficient and genuinely interested in my kitten and how she was doing. They took great care of her and gave me a follow up appointment, but stressed to me that if I had any concerns about her during this time to contact the surgery.

This one and only time out of many times visiting, this particular nurse was very informative, put our minds at ease and was overall very satisfying to deal with. The receptionist on this occasion was also very nice to deal with. We nearly called another vet to visit but didn’t and got a very good service from this nurse and receptionist. The reason I had to return was due to a lack of information from the visit the day before. I could had asked more questions on the visit the day before but like other times, feel they are in a hurry and kinda get rushed out. I will be requesting this particular nurse in the future.

Lovely reception staff, I have been here a few time with my small rodents. Although one of my most recent visits was an emergency appointment for my young rat, and the vet did not give me any confidence at all that she knew what she was talking about, and was saying herself she was unsure on what to do about her condition. and couldn't even diagnose the rat. I went away with medicine but not the correct type for her condition. Sadly she passed away 2 days later from pneumonia. If you're going here for a small pet emergency, ensure you ask for an exotics specialist.

Phoned up as was in need of more worm and flea treatment, advocate doesn't seem to work on my kitten so was very politely talked through other tablets or spot ons. The team were very helpful and welcoming.

I was very grateful for the care and attention of Dr Garcia, the nurses and the reception staff. I was seen for an urgent appointment within a few hours and my cat was thoroughly investigated and treated. They were proactive in communicating with me and highly responsive.

Milo was in poor health and the vet, Laura, was absolutely fantastic. It's was bad news for me but she was very gentle whilst delivering the news and thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. She also offered to email me what she had discussed with me to ensure my understanding. I would recommend her highly to anyone. Plus she remembers him and asks how he is when we visit for other reasons. Even though he won't last forever she has made it much easier to deal with.

Nice vets in the back of a massive pet shop so the dog isn't so nervous coming in. Vets itself has a fairly small waiting area but its not being fully utilised anyway as we're still social distancing in 2020 from Covid. The vets were very caring and knowledgeable so felt in safe hands. Would recommend if someone asked

We saw both the vet, nurse and a student nurse in the last couple of weeks for our new kittens and they were all super friendly and helpful. As we're the receptionists. Very please we chose this practice!

Very helpful staff. Vets/nurses are super nice and good at explaining and answering questions. The receptionist staff are very helpful whether in person on or on the phone. We chose this vet as they are open on Sunday and was recommended by the owner of Plymouth Cat Rescue who use the vet for all their rescue cats. And as a bonus they are located in pets at home so there is good parking and plenty of treats for your pet after there visit

I took my cat Olly into Pets at Home in Plymouth and as usual the service was excellent. They took a blood sample from him and they were able to tell me the result within 30 minutes. How good is that!. The Vet who dealt with my consultation was Catherine who was brilliant. They offer excellent value for money and they really do care. Now with reference to the Reception staff I found the young lady yesterday was very helpful, warm and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. However the other Reception member I find very matter of fact and not very warm. After spending 15 years of my life in charge of Reception in a multinational company I know what I am talking about. I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery. Mark and his team are a credit to the practice.

I needed to see a vet quickly over the Christmas period as my little dog was unwell and this surgery were able to slot him in fairly quickly. He was assessed and promptly given pain medication and antibiotics which he was very happy about as he had been in considerable pain bless him. He returned the next day for sedation to check his mouth. Upon our arrival to collect him he appeared to be happy and content and again pain free. I will be happy to use this surgery again based on my experience so far.

I unfortunately lost my cat last February, she was only 11 but had dimentia and arthritis, the vet Mark was fantastic throughout, was always at the end of a phone for advice and support and just as happy to check her over when need be. All of the staff were so lovely, especially toward the end of her life and when it came to her final visit they treated me and her with respect, and care and gave us some precious last moments in private with her, I have just rescued two more kittens and they will certainly be registered with Plymouth Companion Care Vets. Thank you all for your support at what was such an awful time.
