Very happy with their services when my rats health suddenly went down hill. They were very kind and compassionate. Unfortunately she didn't improve, so we decided to get her cremated with them. They gave us a lovely box containing her ashes, a small bottle of hair, and a card with her paw prints. I will cherish these. Thank you Vets4Pets X

One of our new kittens developed a small issue with his eyes over the weekend. Having made some phonecalls, it became clear many of the local vets are not taking on new pets. I called Vets4Pets and found the reception team incredibly kind and helpful, registering both our cats and getting us an appointment the same day. While at the vets the service was efficient and really caring. I also found the pricing to be reasonable. Thank you!

We had a very bad experience with another vet with our 15 year old cat. She had a tumour on her leg which they removed without biopsy. When it came back they said she should be put down ("what was the point of a biopsy?"). We insisted on a biopsy and an an xray which showed grade one and hadn't spread. All the way along they insisted (more than one vet) she should be put down there is no point taking any other action. We took her to Vets4Pets who operated. Four months on she is thriving on three legs. Vets4Pets in Roborough were professional, caring and reasonably priced. This was a very upsetting experience for the whole family. Vets4Pets made it much better.

Both of our dogs have received the most professional and personal care with these lovely, dedicated people. They all, as in every single team member that we have had the pleasure of communicating with, have given the most professional and empathetic response. We recently lost our lovely old girl Lilly at 14 years. All the staff were very kind, professional and provided that end of life service our beautiful old girl deserved. The vet, Aoife and two veterinary nurses, were so kind and gentle, clearly understanding just how much a family pet means to you. I would recommend this lovely, thoughtful and understanding team to everyone. The lovely Aoife is aptly named, her kindness and understanding fills the room. A gentle and very caring person.

We cannot recommend them highly enough. Having had a very distressing experience with our exisiting vet (writing off our 15 year old cat and suggesting there was no point operating) Jo gave a second opinion and said 'yes we can do that and you can give her a chance'. The operation was done the same day, with professionalism and efficiency. We have a happy cat, recovering well, who has been given a chance. We have regsitered our other pet with Jo too, this is the advice and service you want. All the team are kind and preofessional. It feels like a genuinely personal service where they care. We feel lucky to have them as our new vet. They came high recommended from a friend and we should have changed vets years ago. Thank you team, you are exceptional. All our hope and optimism has been restored.

Everyone was very friendly from start to finish explained every step of the way looked after us both when i had a melt down . Blossom was in excellent hands when taken for bloods and returned to me once prcedure was done . Vet then came back and will ring on monday if blossom not better. But feel comfortable doing so because of the good care .

I know the cost was more than estimated but told Jo to do whatever was required to make her better, cost is irrelevant when the level of care is there to ensure your pet receives is the highest standards possible. Known Jo for many years through the excellent care of my own pets and the many wildlife casualties I have cared for over the years. Hardly surprising to see soo many 5 star reviews, for you will not find a more kind, caring and compassionate vet. One of a handful here in Plymouth who are genuinely in it for the animals. Attitude and treatment of wildlife is a good indication of this. Jo and her team go out of their way to help all animals in any way they can. First class service always. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room With my cat which was great as it’s not nice to wait with barking dogs for too long as it stresses out my cat. All the members of staff are always very nice to us and to our cat. You can tell that all the nurses and vets really do care about the health of our pets. We never had any problem. Taz recently had is vaccination, flea treatment and microchip done and it only costed us £10 with the care plan.

Great vets, would highly recommend to anyone!! Always a warm welcome. The receptionists know your pets by name which is amazing considering how many fur babies they see everyday!! The nurses and vets are kind, friendly and very thorough. I've used them for nearly 3 years for my boy George, I now how a new little rescue kitten called Bella who I've just registered with them. She had her first visit last week for vaccinations ECT, we were both made to feel at ease at a very anxious tome for both of us!! The complete care plan is great and good value for money...Always easy to get a convenient appointment that fits around me working!! Can't praise the whole team enough!!

Not had any problems with treatment at woolwell since getting my dog. They recognize me and him which makes a difference. Visit was for routine treatment on the complete plan which I pick up medication when texted and see the nurse/vet when the time is right. I have been lucky with bowser as he is normally a well dog and is loved as part of the family, exercised regularly and with the regular vet checks he is in good health.

Not only is Jo an exceptional vet she is also a genuine and lovely person with your animals needs her priority. I contacted Woolwell Vets4Pets after receiving reminder text messages that my four Cats were due their Flea and Worm Treatments, due to the current situation with Covid-19, I was advised to turn up to the practice and let them know I was there, the nurse came out and put the treatments in the box outside the door and I took them from there, all this was explained to me the day before over the phone, all the staff at Vets4Pets are professional, helpful and friendly.

Vets4Pets at Woolwell always provide a first class service for my pet rats as well as my cats. I took one of my rats up with suspected pyometra last week. She was booked in for emergency surgery, without which she would have become very ill and possibly died. Once again, they have been life savers
