Have used this vets for years and always found all the staff very friendly, helpful not just to me but also my pets. And that means a lot to me, knowing that the animals welfare is first and foremost.

My rabbit Stew was poorly this morning and they arranged for me to see the lovely vet straight away. All of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend this vet and the pet plan they provide because I only had to pay for the medicine which was a relief during a stressful time. Its an incredibly busy time for them and the service provided has remained impeccable.

All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The procedure was explained to me with great detail (including risks). Upon collection of my pet the aftercare information and tools that were provided were amazing. Any questions I had were answered with detail. Such professional staff, I felt extremely comfortable leaving my pet in their care.

The nurse that I saw knows about my rabbit’s health issues, she is so compassionate when dealing with me and my rabbit. She explains things thoroughly and is always cheerful! She is a great asset to the surgery! All the vets, nurses and receptionists are so lovely and caring, I wouldn’t take my rabbit anywhere else, they are wonderful!

We had to pick up flea and worming treatment for our boy and the staff member (I believe she’s a nurse!) was fantastic. She answered my questions thoroughly and was extremely helpful in explaining our options for his treatment. She was on her own behind the desk and there was a queue forming behind us but she treated us considerately and we didn’t feel rushed. Extremely happy with our experience.

I'm usually very happy with Companion Car Vets, but it depends who I'm dealing with. Some employees are very helpful and are happy to answer question, others will not give you the time of day and talk to you in a way customer service folks aren't meant to talk to customers in my opinion. I can understand sometime their busy but when dealing with people pets I should think they would have a bit more time for concerns. Overall not super happy with a select few but most employees are great and will be returning.

When my cat became ill, they were incredibly helpful with advice and managed to squeeze us in as an extra next day appointment. I felt informed and given a range of options for treatments. It was also great to see the same vet on the follow up appointment.

All the ladies at reception are fantastic and all the nurses and vets I've met have been outstanding in their working ways and how they always treat my cat. Best vet's practice by far, compared to all the places I've been with my pets over the years.

Really pleased with the care we received for our cat whilst he’s been poorly. Every single member of staff were helpful, caring & genuinely interested in his care and how he was doing. We were given an emergency slot over the phone, told to come to the Practice within the hour and were seen straight away, given an appointment for the next two days for follow-ups with no issues. All tests and procedures were explained clearly & they took the time to answer any questions. We’d like to say a special thanks to Maria on reception, Ruth & Rebecca and several nurses we saw who were so lovely and kind and cared for Ralph so brilliantly.

Have been using the companion care vets since 2016, annual check ups, vaccinations, hair cuts and nail clips. Excellent service, friendly staff. Very helpful and ready to answer any questions you may have. Recently had an emergency - my pet was not feeling well. The vet saw us 2 hours after my panic phone call. Very professional and calm made sure my pet is comfortable. Though it turn out to be false alarm the doctor spend time to reassure us that it is better to bring her in and make sure there is nothing wrong with her then to leave it. Or as my grandfather used to say : prevention is better then the cure. Thank you to all the staff in Shirley Companion Care Vets.

The whole experience for the routine operation was brilliant - from pre- op phone calls confirming appointments and advising what to bring, to post op care and answering every question in the middle!

I needed to collect flea and worming treatment for my cat. I called and asked how I could do this during the pandemic. I was told to drive and call when I was outside. When the receptionist came out, I got out my car and waved. She put the treatment on top of an item for sale outside and I collected when she went back inside. She was very respectful of the social distancing measures and made me feel very at ease during this uncertain time. I am always pleased with the level of service at Companion Care and thank everyone involved for feeling like I could get help for my cat if I needed to. They are risking their lives by continuing to run the clinic. Thank you!

I like the way I have to bring Rocco into the practice when collecting flea/wormimg treatment so he can be weighed. I also had to call a vet to my home for my girl Porsche and the vet was very professional and in the circumstances, very kind. I will never take Rocco anywhere else.
