I have used hope vets for my Labrador and now cockapoo puppy for the past 11 years and I am very happy with the service they provide for our pets. I think they are reasonably priced and are very friendly and helpful. They were especially caring and considerate when our 10yr old Labrador became ill with heart failure in 2021 and sadly had to be put to sleep after medication was unsuccessful. I highly recommend Hope Vets .

Hands down the best veterinary practice in the area and most probably the UK... A bold claim I know, but when our family moved to North Wales and tried numerous vets local to our new home, we still made the decision to travel back to Stoke with Tigger our beloved cat for him to be looked after by Hope and the amazing team at the surgery. I've never known a vets to be more caring and compassionate and Hope along with its team will be hero's to us for everything they have done for us over the years.

Great vets, rushed my dog in when he split his dew claw one evening. He was seen straight away. Also treated my other dog when she went off her food but nothing was obviously wrong.

Excellent and prompt attention from the reception staff in getting me an appointment for the following day. When Charlie my Cockapoo was seen by the vet he was diagnosed very quickly. He was given antibiotics by injection immediately and tablets to take for 10 days. With the added advice to come back if things didn't improve, the care and advice given was clear and put our minds to rest. Highly recommend.

Sadly last year 2 of my cats became ill unexpectedly and deteriorated rapidly Susie in June, Sox in August both had to be euthanised. The way we were treated made it easier to deal with on both occasions. At times I have phoned for advice and even though it may have been trivia based on my lack of knowledge, was treated with professionalism and questions answered to see if an appointment was required. I am happy to recommend this vet to anyone.

I have been with Debra and her team for many years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog Chester, and the one before him called Bonnie. They are extremely friendly and helpful very knowledgeable and experienced! If they can't treat your pet then they will refer you to someone who can. Even if I wasn't local I would travel to see them.

I have no hesitation leaving a review of how I feel about this particular verinary surgery having myself and my family being dog and animal lovers and owners for over 60 years. We joined the hope surgery when Deborah Hope first started the practice in a new unit on the Stanley Mathews Way business park around twelve years ago. The dedicated total care and devotion offered to animal welfare by her leadership and high staff standards have propelled her practice to the heights of the best there is in the verinary care service. This relatively recent business has achieved respect and recognition to a level enabling expansion into new purpose built premises designed with Deborah's personal requirements at the heart of the project, and it has proved to be a tremendous success. Such is the feeling of community with all who have known Deborah from the start, a contribution new build money tree was started to help her turn the dream of the new build surgery into reality, and the new surgery is testemement to her dedication and the high esteem she has earned amongst all animal lovers. Respectful to their human customers, good at explaining medical conditions and illnesses in laymans terms, plus quick and accurate diagnostic work, wherever needed. The vets and vet nurses are nice but they receptionists can be quite rude especially the one with brown hair and glasses. We were also billed for tablets that we weren't aware we had to pay for even after the next visit no one informed us. Then when I called to query the receptionist just went quiet then I heard her whisper "I think she's gone" to the other receptionist. Other than the lack of communication and shocking service of those on the front desk it's good

This is the only place I would trust my precious cats to, the owner, Deborah, is one of those very special, very rare people who have a true calling and she puts the animals first, second and third. The best vets by far, the animals are all that matter to them. They are busy because they are extremely good and I would disregard the one bad feedback..I took an emergency case in and he was taken into the surgery as soon as he was through the door. Well what can I say, The care that your pet receives at Hope Vets is second to none and that's because of how much passion that everyone has for their jobs at the surgery. I called the surgery after hours as my cat was feeling unwell and I was asked to come straight in where we were looked after by Clare, not only did she prescribe drugs to make Jet better, she put me at ease as I was in such a panic she went above and beyond to put my needs first. We have recently moved here from another vets. We needed to visit three times with two cats and have been delighted with all aspects. Claire and Esme were wonderful with our precious fur babies and we have noted huge improvements in their conditions. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Brilliant advice given re our cat with IBD and colitis re long term steroid use as alternative to exploratory surgery. And best of all, no heart attack when paying the bill. All round great experience. Could only be improved by providing their own out of hours cover which I understand is possibly being planned for early 2018. 10/10 from Leo, Buttons and their humans xx ❤️

I'm sure I'm not on my own when I say how furious I am with Carla Parrish's review of Hope Vets trentham. Where do I Begin, first I sincerely hope your furry friend Carla Parrish's has made a full recovery. Please don't think I'm drawing Rogers & Brock into any slanging match whatsoever, but Carla you need to stand up & be counted. I have one question for you why were you ringing Hope Vets in the first place, surely you've heard the saying don't judge a book by its cover referring to the age of Debora's staff. Any animal lover will tell you it takes longer to qualify as a veterinary surgeon than it does to be a Doctor, so unless they started their training when they were 10 it's impossible for them to be kids (wouldn't you agree) The reason I'm so passionate about Debora & her team at Hope is that we sadly lost our very special little princess Beauty on Sunday 9th November 2014. I had been taking Beauty to the surgery EVERY other day for eighteen months NO exceptions, Christmas day, New Years day, Bank Holidays etc for jabs & on going treatment to help Beauty with her fight against The Big C. The whole team love their work, you become a member of their family & nothing is too much trouble. Hand on heart I've never heard anyone at all have a bad word to say about Debora or any of her team. A FIVE STAR RATING doesn't come close. I will never be able to thank Debora & her team enough for all there help!!! Because of them and there wonderful work, my wife & myself had eighteen more wonderful months with our Little princess BEAUTY! which to us was priceless. Long may Hope's Vets carry on doing this great work for all our furry friends. Bob Kent
