I have been taking my 9 year old Staffy to Shires Vets since he was a pup. They have always gone above and beyond their roles to take good care of him during each and every visit. I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone is so friendly and my dog actually enjoys going to the vets! Special thanks to Zoe and Emma for giving Mayson so much care and attention this past few days.

The receptionists are always welcoming and friendly and usually take time to greet my pet. Vets’s and nurses are always warm and friendly towards my pet greeting them by name and fussing them. Treatment is always explained and options given if applicable. Very compassionate when delivering bad news. I drive out of area to continue to use this practice due to the great service they provide my pets

Every vet at this surgery that I have encountered have been really kind and take the time to make sure you understand. You can tell that they have a genuine love for animals. Unfortunately my puppy will need surgery on her eye and the vet even took the time to bring a book out and show me images of what he will need to do.

I will never use a different vets. Polite, professional knowledgeable, clean and affordable. The receptionists are kind, friendly and respectful, they always try to accommodate you. The vets especially James and Zoe are amazing. I have a dog with a very rare medical condition and ALL the staff especially (Yvette, Bev, Katie, Sonia, James, Zoe and Emma) have far exceeded all expectations. They have dealt with insurance claims and claimed directly (animal friends) all as I have paid is the excess. They have liaised with the specialist hospital Pride and kept me updated they always return calls. I can highly recommend Shire’s Eaton Park.

Shires are really good. I took my staffy to get checked over has he had a siezer. Shires did a thorough check and explained all options. I would definitely recommend using Shires vets.

One of the best vets I know. My cat has been here since a kitten, they handle him well and I 100% trust them. My cat is never scared when he visits as the vets are so friendly and caring. When we got him done, I was worried about his breathing and they checked him over and called me with assurance. The only thing I have to say is that it can be quite pricey. I was a little stumped with how much it cost for a checkup and ear drops but overall happy with the service.

Cannot recommend enough. Lovely staff amazing with our animals. Our pets are not scared to visit. Have dealt with them through emergency surgeries, sadly having dog put to sleep and general check ups with our kittens. Would not go anywhere else!

I took my Daschsund with an ear problem. The vet was amazing with him, (as he has an anxiety issue) He was kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable, he took the time to explain everything to me and I felt very at ease, I wouldn't take any of my pets anywhere else. Defia 5 star vets. We have only needed them for normal annual injections but they have been fab. Sadly we lost both our boys very close together during lockdown. There care to both the dogs and us was more than expected. Their support and care was lovely at such a hard time. We have welcomed a new little lady into our family and with no doubt weve registered her with shires vets. We have more local vets but these guys have always gone above with their care so we will not be going anywhere else

I have nothing but praise for this veterinary surgery. When the time came for our much loved dog to depart this life they were wonderful. The vet explained that there was nothing left to blame done for him. He laid out the options and left us in peace to make our decision. We made the fateful choice and informed him of our decision. The procedure was quick, painless and peaceful. When our dog passed we were left to say goodbye to him. No request for payment was made, indeed we were told to pay when we returned for his ashes. Thank you Shires for your compassion on such a sad day for us. We will continue to us them in the future.

Fantastic vets all staff very friendly and welcoming. Having recently taken the difficult decision to let our beautiful 14yr old yorkie cross the rainbow bridge we received nothing but support and understanding. Emma (vet nurse) was amazing and with us every step of the way from arranging for us to take Katie in through the back door as I couldn't deal with the waiting area and people at that moment to arranging her cremation. So patient and understanding with my anxious cat. After months with a previous vets I had his notes transferred to shires and with one visit they had got to the root of his problem.
