Warrendale is a fantastic vet. I'm so pleased we moved there from where we were. Earlier this week we found a large lump on our 1st furbaby dog. I rang them up in floods of tears and they got us in on the same day. Richard the vet is so friendly, compassionate and excellent at his job. He tested our furbaby for diabetes because she has been drinking a lot more and lost weight. He felt the lump which is quite large and told us it was a tumour. He does know and won't know what kind unless he did a needle biopsy. He is excellent and treats it in the operating room instead of in the consultation room. When the time comes for our furbaby it won't be in consultation time it will be after so we can say our goodbyes without walking out and other customs being in the waiting room. Every member of staff from receptionist to Rich and all other members are polite and go out of their way to make you as comfortable and the only pet owners who matter. I just wanted to review based on the customer service I received when arranging an appointment for my bearded dragon. Sadly we didn't make it for our appointment as he passed away shortly before. I was recommended to bring him here & the staff I spoke to when arranging & cancelling the appointment were very pleasant & accommodating. So I will definitely be back in the future if I need to. Thank you :)

Absolutely awesome place. Best vets I've used. Ever. Rich is a fantastic vet who is in it for the love of animals. If he can offer you a cheaper alternative when you're strapped for cash he'll make you aware of it but always with your pets welfare first and foremost and he never recommends unnecessary treatments/procedures (e.g. blood tests etc) which we've experienced with other surgeries. We moved out of the area for 5 years and used other surgeries in that time and as good as they were none were as good as Warrendale. All the staff are absolutely top class and I really can't recommend them enough. EDIT: Great to see extra staff arriving to take some of the pressure off Rich so that he actually gets days off nowadays! Both of the additional vets I've seen there have been absolutely exemplary and equal Rich's tremendously high standards.

Never see you on time, always late. Or is it just us? Never acknowledge you and let you think do they think I'm just standing here for the fun of it? Not like there's plenty of other vets around so they need to get their act together. How hard would it be for the receptionist to go out, greet the latest customer and inform them of any delays? Not hard is it?

Absolutely fantastic caring, genuine people Been taking our lovely budgie Charlie there for a while and he recently became ill. They gave him an emergency appointment and medication at short notice and reassurance that they cared about our lovely pet bird. Sadly after a week or so Charlie passed away but we cannot thank the staff at Warrendale for everything they did for Charlie to help him and for the reassurance, help and honesty they gave to use too. So highly recommended.

We travel over from near Newcastle to see Richard and his team. Fantastic vetinary clinic, looking after both my bearded dragon and disabled cat as if their own animals. Friendly service, really have time for you and make every effort to explain every aspect of the animals needs. Could not recommend enough.
