We're enormously grateful for them for helping us integrate our new Jack Russell Lacey into our family. Prospective adopters need to understand this isn't like a car dealership where you walk in and say "I want that one". Sally and the kennels team do excellent work dealing with some very challenging dogs, and the work they put in cannot be faulted.

We love Llys Nini. The castle park is excellent for ages 2-10yrs. There are vending machines in the shop selling hot drinks & cheap sweats to keep the kids happy as well as some colouring sheets. There is a WC too. For a small contribution you can go and look at the animals; dogs, cars, rabbits, birds & ferrets. They also have a new hot drinks shack outside. They regularly hold events or structured activities, sometimes free of charge which are great too!

A fantastic experience all around. We turned up 10 minutes before closing time and the fantastic staff member just told us to go on down and view the animals. Their living quarters looked clean. The dogs looked happy and healthy. It was a brilliant experience to the point that they suggested a best time to go and view a potential dog. I donated to their cause and would implore you to do the same because all of the staff were there with smiles and a genuine interest in the animals well being.

An absolutely amazing place to visit. I was there on a volunteer day arranged through my workplace where we were helping lay a new path. The nature trails are great for taking dogs on walks as it's a huge area they have, over 70 acres I believe. I also had the opportunity to see the animals they care for and its amazing the care and love they give these animals who have been let down and need a new home. Great place for family visits also and they regularly hold special events.

Staff and volunteers were fabulous. Really friendly and inviting. They explained the procedure of visiting and looking around the out-houses and staff were on hand to assist at each location. Animals were clearly well cared for and I was really impressed with the structure of questions the staff asked me to ensure I was making the correct choices. Having had cats all my life (some with medical conditions). I know the level of dedication some cats need but staff were happy to discuss my previous knowledge and why I had decided on getting a cat now. The best thing of all for me was that they wouldn't allow any aumals to go out this close to Christmas in case it is a momentary wonder. I would be very happy to have my next fur-baby from here. Excellent facility. Thank you for allowing us to look around.

We were on a socialisation there was no rushing just complete focus on the dogs needs. It was brilliant to see the care and love the staff give to their dogs.

Nice animal rescue with child friendly staff, facilities and activities! Donation to visit is suggested at £1 each but we always give more as it's worth it! The animals seem happy and they seem to really care about them. They don't just give them away to anyone which is great. There is a small pet related shop inside and a coffee/refreshment stand outside, all reasonably priced and good quality. There is a lovely children's play area which is regularly maintained.

All the animals are so cute I wanted to take them all home. We went to look for a rabbit and the friends we went with left with a dog. The staff are so friendly and they have lots of play areas for children. Such a lovely place. Adopt don't shop.

Absolutely brilliant place the take a family. A safari trail is put on for children of all ages, for the summer hols. Good fort play area, cheap snacks and drink as well as a new plush hit drink wagon. Animals are very well cared for and lively to think you can take children their to play whilst raising money for such a good cause.

Llys Nini introduced us to our best friend Darcy 15 years ago when she was only a 6 months old puppy then. She is the best decision we ever made and brings us unconditional love and joy every second we are together! Thank you for all you for for animals.

It was our first visit to the site and we were overblown by the whole place. The children absolutely loved the playground and the forest school is really well equipped to cater for all kinds of people even those who have difficulties! We will be back! 😅 Note please that on Wednesdays you won't be able to see the animals at the shelter as it the cleaning day.

Great place, doing good work. Stop by for a walk, or play on the playground. There's a booth selling hot drinks (always time for a cup of tea) and a decent shop for your four legged pet needs. Plenty to do and there's lots of community activities on site.

Lovely animal centre with friendly experienced staff that will guide you through the adoption procedure. Besides well looked after animals to view that are up for adoption, there is a shop.with kit for different animals to buy. There are wonderful walks through the grounds and boardwalks through the woods.The wildlife habitats are great, with a hide overlooking a lake where if you are lucky you might spot otters. Last but not least they have a Barista pod in the car park where folk can buy freshly brewed coffee whilst the children play in the adventure activity fortress.

Excellent work done here by the RSPCA. Cats, dogs and small animals kept here for rehoming. RSPCA have done a lot to the shelter over the years. It's now bigger, holds events and they have an outdoor play area.
