St James Veterinary Group are a long standing service. They have various Surgeries making it easy to find one that suits. Also they have their own facilities to keep animals in their hospital unit, say following an operation. They also offer a monthly plan that covers things like annual vaccinations and health checks, which covers a lot of services not covered by animal insurances and spreads the cost of these over the year. Very friendly staff and have every faith in their abilities to look after my two dogs.

Friendly, caring practise. Able to book an appointment quickly and my cats were given a thorough check over and any necessary treatment. Would recommend highly. Very convenient being able to pay by direct debit for treatments through the Pet health care program.

I have had my dog with st James vet for 17 years and every time I have had to use the vets the staff have been very helpful and friendly and resantly had to put my dog to sleep and the vet and nurse were ever so helpful ..they tried as much as they could to make the experience as nice as they could wich was a great help ..thanks to all the team at park way will always be grateful for what you have done for me and the late senna thanks

Another visit to St James at Penellgaer and yet again they were brilliant. Friendly reception staff and a lovely friendly vet. Today's visit was a vaccination for a new puppy, sadly we lost our 16yr dog Jewels in November. St James provided excellent care for Jewels especially in her final few weeks. St James showed such kindness and compassion to ourselves aswell as to our animals. St James is an amazing veterinary practice

I had an appointment with the Heartsvet which was absolutely amazing the heart vet was brilliant and his nurse. However the receptionist on that day needs to learn people skills!!!! Rude and rolling her eyes as I wasn't sure about the intercom. A very helpful lady in the queue behind me explained without eye rolling or being rude. K

I would really recommend. I trust the staff looking after my dog because they're really caring, knowledgeable and always try their best to get to the bottom of every issue. They have helped my girl out so many times, and I can't thank them enough. The reception staff are fab aswell.

A lovely bunch of people who always seem to put the animals first before profit, I always feel at ease there with my pug/beagle yogi who can be quite timid at times and my rescue pug/Jack Russel Alfie who wants to bark at anything with a heartbeat. The practice is clean and bright, they always have treats on hand to calm down naughty doggos and separate side of room for feline enemies.

Car park good, with grass area if needed when waiting for appointment. Clean and tidy, but can be waiting a while, seems to be less staffing than their main branch. Staff will go over and above for your pets!
