The vet was very friendly and put us at ease. Getting an update through the night was not an issue and didn’t seem like an inconvenience. Check out in the morning was good with lots of information provided.

Two weeks ago my cat, Boudicca, became very ill and I had to have her put to sleep. I'd just like to thank the staff at Vets Now, Swansea for their support and kindness (particularly the vet who treated Boudicca, whose name I unfortunately can't remember). I was a mess throughout the whole process, but the staff showed me nothing but kindness, patience, and empathy. They did all they could to save Boudicca and support me through a very difficult time, and for that I am truly grateful.

Had to take my 16 month pup to you out of hours Saturday evening . A warm welcome and very friendly service .thank you for looking after us x

Vets and nurses were extremely helpful. I collected my cats 2 days later and had already settled the bill prior to their admission. The receptionist asked for more money and I tried explaining that it had been paid. She chose not to listen, she came across very robotic and disinterested in what I had to say and then advised that she would get the practice manager to ring me. There was a waiting room full of people and I found this situation embarrassing. The practice manager advised me that there had been a mistake with the system and that in fact I had paid the balance. Otherwise overall I was happy with the experience. The receptionist in question needs to go on further customer service training and should not be on the front desk.

Although our reasoning for using the Emergency Out Of Hours VetsNow service was utterly heartbreaking, the staff and vet were all so compassionate and understanding.
When you're losing one of the most important parts of your life you need time and reassurance. We were given this. I'm so sad, but the care my dog had in his last hours was excellent and I'm so thankful for that.

Called early hours in the morning as our dog was having issues with his manhood, they gave us some amazingly helpful advice to save us bringing him in. It worked and he’s back to himself now. Wanted to call them back to say thank you but didn’t want to block the line for people calling in, so just wanted to say, thank you so much to lovely lady who helped, its very much appreciated.

We attended on a bank holiday afternoon. Very efficient service. Didn’t have to wait at all and took our dog straight in to be seen. Treatment was good and advice excellent. The only issue I had was with the cost. Despite me asking the price at various stages it seemed that a lot of extras were added on when it came to paying the bill. I think that the full cost should be explained clearly at every stage as it came as a huge shock when we collected him. For example a 100ml bottle of charcol cost £57 which I couldn’t believe. They didn’t ask me if I wanted it but just added it onto the bill and didn’t give me an option. The care however couldn’t be faulted at all.

Absolutely devastated to lose my baby boy but James was fantastic. He came to the car to put my dog to sleep and he didn't rush anything and explained everything so we understood . Not ideal being in the car but he .are the best out of an awful situation x

A few days before Christmas, our beloved dog became ill, where we had to take him to this emergency vets and we had to make the difficult decision to have him put to sleep. The vet I spoke to was kind and caring and after discussing all the options, we made this decision. The nurse met my husband outside and they took our dog and did the procedure straight away (I didn’t want him in a cage for hours waiting around and luckily they had no emergency’s) she was kind and told my husband she gave him a big cuddle and that he went peacefully. This was a big help because due to covid restrictions we couldn’t stay with him, so knowing someone was with him and showing him affection until the end was a great comfort. We’ve received a lovely card from them with seeds for a plant to grow in the garden called “forget me not”, I am a keen gardener and this was a lovely and unexpected gesture.
Our own vets we’ve received nothing and when I phoned them the day after, thinking I needed to inform them, they were cold and heartless and the attitude was they couldn’t care.
Vets Now have been so lovely that we are looking at moving our other dog under them as they’ve been really great.

Rang as my cat had been vomiting blood, they were helpful and told me I could take him to be checked out at a cost of £172.50 with any treatments etc on top. No set appointment time just turn up and there may be a little wait which was no problem. Covid measures great turned up at 18.45 handed cat over at the door and went to wait in the car.
After 1.5hrs a nurse came to my car but had the wrong person I explained which pet I was with and she said oh yes I've already spoken to you havent I, I explained no I hadn't heard anything yet and she said she would be right back to update me.
After 2hours I hadn't heard anything and lots of other pets had been in and out in the meantime so I rang to be told it wouldn't be much longer, I asked if he had been seen yet and was told it wouldn't be much longer it appeared rhey were reluctant to tell me he had not yet been assessed. I explained I had been waiting 2hrs but understood they were probably busy etc and was assured it wouldn't be much longer.
After nearly 4hrs I rang again as it was now nearly 11pm I was freezing hadn't eaten and lived 5mins from the building so could have dropped him and collected him had I have known it would be this long. I was told he still hadn't been seen as they were prioritising animals and mine had "just been vomiting". I explained that if he wasn't a priority this eve as they felt he was probably ok then I could have taken him home and brought him back to my regular vet the next day. I appreciated they had to prioritise patients but would have been grateful for some sort of update or timescale as I was worried sick due to the length of time he was there when he hadn't even been seen!! I was told they hadn't realised it had been 4hrs and that he would be seen shortly. He was then seen very quickly - with precautionary injections I had a bill for £198!

My cat, Martina, was hospitalised and given excellent treatment. Alas being very old at 21, she died the following week, albeit with further treatment. Sadly, old age cannot be treated nor cured, but I am grateful for their help and attempts to help Martina. Unfortunately, after a long life her time had come.

After quite a journey. The practice were kind and friendly. The diagnosis wasn't quite right as the vet said our dogs stomach was soft. He was worse the following day and our own vet was concerned as it was hard. After 2nd more days of treatment he got rid of something very hard plastic in his poo. We were so pleased as he immediately perked up and started eating for the first time for 3 days. Whilst I appreciate it's out of hours the vet bill was 6 times our own vet bill but I am grateful for their help.

Although it was very busy when we arrived and it felt like we were waiting forever, when we did eventually get in to see the vet we were treated excellently and Sabrina was treated with kindness and although the end result was not what we wanted it was best for her. We were not rushed during our goodbyes and everyone was really supportive. Thank you.

Our girl ate grapes, which can be fatal for dogs. Called our vet we were redirected to Vets Now helpline as it was 7pm. Within 30 mins of incident, our girl was being treated. Everyone was so kind .... we are home, our girl is fine. Yes expensive, but no cost replaces your companion. Get insurance , many reasonable policies out there ....

I used vets now on a Sunday when my dog became extremely unwell, everyone from the call center being exreamly efficient to all the help and care the vets and nurses gave they were great, they were thorough in their examination and kept me informed while my dog stayed with them over night. If it weren't for them I'm not sure if my dog would have made it, so thankyou from the bottom of my heart

I would love yo know the name of the vet who operated on my little girl. That lady is an unbelievably incredible woman. Watching the way she worked and how she dealt with each patient was magnificent. I know it's expensive but that particular lady knew what she was doing, saw many patients and still was going on like a trooper. There's not enough amount of thanks I could give her. Incredibly a hard caring worker and deserves all the recognition, staff were fantastic too. It's like poppy hasn't even had an operation, without the wonderful lady she wouldn't be with me now. Thank you soo much!

Fantastic service. My cat was taken there from my Vets for overnight care.
I was informed how his condition was and also of any extra medical support that was required. Their service was professional, polite and caring, and although worried I knew that he was in the best place.
Thank-you all for looking after him

Our bonzo was extremely unwell early hours of Mon 16/03 and vet Lorenzo and nurse Helen were kind compassionate and more importantly saved his life. We will never be able to thank them enough. He was operated on once stable ( by the PDSA vet ) in the morning and is now home making a good recovery. Will be forever grateful.

Needed to use Vets Now on Easter Sunday. The vet was marvellous with our dog and very sympathetic with our position. We regrettably had to let our dog go, but the whole process was dealt with very professionally.

We knew exactly what was going on, exactly what was happening and the course of action.

They seem to be good on the diagnosis of my cats problems but because of the pandemic we had to wait outside which is a strange experience when you should be with your pet and asking the vet what and why

The staff working on Christmas Day were so caring with us when we had to take our girl in. Sadly she was too tired to go on anymore but they made sure we knew what to expect and gave us as much time as we wanted to stay with her after. Thank You.

My 8 month old pup was taken unwell suddenly on a Saturday evening and my normal vet was shut, I went to Vets Now in Swansea and was seen rapidly, the care was thorough and professional, thank you.

Good service and care provided by Christine the vet and rest of team , thought £149 upfront for out of hours consultation was expensive and would mean that some people would not be able to afford it and would be forced to wait until their vets was open , luckily I have insurance and also £15 administration fee to fill out insurance forms a bit expensive ,grateful of treatment provided thanks Roy.
