I took my dog to the Lawley surgery on the build up to his booster appointment the following week, to enable him to have a nice experience and meet the staff. I wasn't disappointed, infact as first impressions go, I was very impressed. My dog gets a little anxious and excitable but was reassured by myself and Heidi, with lots of treats of course. We were greeted by a lovely lady on reception too, who made us very welcome, and so did the other visitors. His first 2 years have been with another vet, who my dog clearly doesn't like, so fingers crossed he will get used to medivet - he needs the feminine touch 😉

All staff are friendly and very accommodating towards the needs of the animals in their care. Always helpful advice, and even encouraged me to take my pet in on a weekly basis so she could overcome her nerves😇, even though busy treating other people and pets....They fussed and petted, gave treats...... I'm always happy with the way she's treated when she needs care, too. There is a 'Friends' annual payment system where regular health check,worming, flea treatment, vaccinations are all covered, what's not to like?

With 2 ageing dogs, 2 young cats and a kitten we have had to find a good when moving to Telford. After trying a couple of others first that we were not impressed with we tried Oakville. Always good, efficient and friendly. Competitively priced and have dealt with keeping service open, even in an emergency, during the covid-19 pandemic. Thank Oakville.

Annette on the front desk at the Station Rd practice in Lawley is fabulous , nothing to much trouble and is amazing with my dogs .

Vets (especially Christine) very caring & knowledgeable. Without her quick diagnosis I would have lost my dear cat. She arranged for 3 nights at cat hospital which undoubtedly saved his life. Also the admin staff dealt with all the paperwork with Pet Plan which took stress out of the situation. Cat now 100% well x

I was very concerned when Oakville was taken over by Medivet and within a short time, all the familiar faces I knew had left. However one who remained constant was Moya who works on Reception. She has always been so helpful to me if I ever needed anything and kept my confidence with the vets. It really helped me as I was having doubts about staying. I have now found a new veterinary nurse in Daisy who is a real credit and an amazing vet in Charlie. All have reinstalled my faith in Oakville/Medivet. Thank you to you all, you have and no doubt will continue to be amazing.

Highly recommend Lawley Medivet. Over the last year we have been receiving long term treatment for our cat Che. Lawley Medivet have been a great support in treatment, advice and insurance admin. Che's vet Charlie had a bit of a mission in treating Che as he was a nervous patient to say the least, she did this with much patience and sensitivity. A year later his illness became to much for him. The staff team on duty that day were very professional, sensitive and took into consideration both ours and Che's needs, for this we are grateful. The vet on duty, Christine, and the team afforded him a considerate and dignified passing. Many thankyous to all on the Lawley Medivets team!

Absolutely brilliant. Altho we had to have dog put down they told us price of scan and blood tests before they did them and gave results in a professional manner. They even work out a payment plan if you don't have money in full on the day. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service, and the staff are always nice, every time we go with our cat (Brandy) they always happy to see him. Also when our Persian cat died (Jezzie) at the age of nearly 21 years (she was 10 days off her 21st birthday) they did have symphony for us. We think they are the best vets in Telford 😀

I've been with oakville vets since Alfie my cocker was a pup he's now 10 he's had a few problems over the years and at one point thought we were going to lose him. Due to the excellent care they gave Alfie he pulled through since then only minor ailments but treated equally with the same care and compassion . I have lost 2 cats in a year and a lovely card and forget me not seeds were posted to mea lovely touch. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a credit to the surgery.

Today was possibly the saddest day for myself and John( my husband) , we had to say goodbye to our beloved Mollie. We have been with Sarah and her team ever since we moved over here 12 years ago, we have seen numerous vets in the practice and they are all fantastic. Mollie had many ailments and during the past 12months we have been regular visitors to the practice each tjme we have had excellent service. Today we had to make the decision to put Mollie to rest so called the practice immediately we were given an early appointment ,upon arrival was met with both compassion and understanding, we had requested an appointment with Sarah but unfortunately she was unable to see us due to her operational schedule. We were instead seen by a wonderful vet -(sorry forgot his name but he was an American ) He greeted us with a hug for me and a handshake to John and kind soothing words to Mollie he made us feel as if she was the most important dog in the world to him and as he gave her the first injection to sedate her ,he said prayers and caressed her head and gently stroked her, she became calm and seemed to like him. I had to leave the room as the final injection was given, John told me it was a peaceful and loving experience as Mollie slipped away the vet kissed her head and said further prayers all the time comforting John with kind understanding words with a hand on his shoulder to give extra support. We were given a poem by this wonderful man entitled "Rainbow Bridge" to read it breaks my heart but also is a comfort. Thankyou Thank you for making this horrendous day easier to endure, we were so terrified of how Mollie would leave us . But she left this earth calm,out of pain at peace and with dignity . God bless you our angels in disguise Rest in Peace Mollie

Run by Medivet who seem to know what they're doing. The staff are very helpful and I've been bringing my cats to them for years. Slightly expensive but what vetinary care isn't?

Even though we phoned twenty minutes before closing they saw our cat after she was hurt fighting another cat nice finding she wasn't severely hurt but the £30 check up turned into £350 dental 😭😭
