The vet we saw was a lady named Karen
What a star absolutely lovely with our dog and kind and reassuring to us too. Her assistant Sarah was lovely too. They provided an excellent service. Thank you both.x

We took our Dachshund Lily to Vets Now in Telford earlier this year after she ingested 62 cotton buds. The vets who looked after her tried to induce vomiting but only a few of the cotton buds came up which meant that Lily had to have emergency stomach surgery. It was an awful night waiting to hear how the surgery went but we received a phone call the next morning reassuring us that Lily was OK. A massive thank you to the Vets Now team in Telford for saving little Lily’s life. She is still mischievous but we’re keeping a very close eye on her now! Thank you again, I didn’t get anyone’s name as I was in such a state but we are so thankful for your help.

This vets is absolutely brilliant I’d highly recommend them to anyone our dog sadly passed away within minutes of getting to the vets they tried there best and for that I’m very greatful they have made us a paw print and the dogs hair to be picked up the staff was just so kind ❤️

This is the second time that we have used the services of Vets Now for overnight nursing care following emergency surgery. Our little dog appeared to be well looked after and when collected was clean and as happy as she could be following major surgery. My only criticism this time would be the handover as it was slightly chaotic and anxiety provoking and there is a time lapse from collecting our dog from the local vet at 6.15pm and not being able to hand her over until 7pm for overnight monitoring (when Vets Now opens). Equally collection could have been better too although it was a lot quicker than drop off and I assume that is due to Vets Now closing before the daily vets practice opens.

Took my baby chihuahua as he really wasn't himself. The service and help we received was absolutely fantastic and put me at ease knowing he was in safe hands.

We have never had to go to an emergency vets before but had to contact Vets Now Telford when our 13 year old dog started passing blood. We cannot thank them enough as fearing the worst, we explained the symptoms and were able to visit the surgery within 45 minutes of our phone call. The staff were friendly and efficient providing very good customer service. Ela the vet was excellent, she was very patient, explaining the details, recommended action and costs involved. Our dog needed to stay in overnight but we were kept informed of his progress in the evening and morning when we were able to take him home. I have no hesitation in recommending the services provided by Vets Now Telford.

My little 12-year old westie is a diabetic and was quite poorly. We were relieved to be able to go to vets now at Telford where the lovely Ella looked after Lily, gave us the appropriate instructions that we needed. It's a great relief to know that when we have a problem we are able to go and and receive top class Care.. thank you Ella and Lee. Lily is

I had to seek advice, reassurance and ultimately treatment for my greyhound who had been vomiting blood. I was able to get seen within the hour of phoning. The vet and nurse on duty were calm, caring and proficient, explaining everything to me in terms I understood. All ended well.

I was grateful that Vets Now were available to provide out of hours care when my cat became seriously (sadly fatally) ill on a Sunday evening. The care she received from the vets once they attended to her was professional and sympathetic. I did feel however that the referral system did not function as it should have done. I had given details over the phone to say that my cat was seriously ill, barely conscious and regularly fitting - at the time I though she may have been hit by a car. On arriving at the surgery the receptionist appeared to have all the details, confirming our cats name and asking us to take a seat. 45 minutes later we had still not been seen, and my cat was fitting again - I alerted the receptionist, and she was rushed in to see a vet (and put to sleep soon afterwards, when blood tests revealed anti freeze poisoning). The receptionist explained that we had only been kept waiting and not treated as an emergency immediately because the details passed on my the phone operator had reported her condition as lameness. I am concerned that details for all emergencies should be double checked on admission - my cat suffered for 45 minutes longer than she needed to as a result of this failure (and it was fairly traumatic for me too).
Update: I have now received a full and thoughtful letter from Vets Now which satisfies me that my concerns have been taken seriously, and the communication issue has been investigated and acknowledged, with an apology for it having occurred and a commitment to consider training needs.

The care and treatment given to our precious Bunny was extremely compassionate and genuine. Although nothing could be done to save her it was comforting to see the kindness shown to her by all staff present.
The kindness and compassion shown to us at such an awful time was also comforting, as was the follow up phone call later in the evening.
Thank you to all those involved.

Lovely staff and very respectful and caring due to my loss suddenly of my cat Merlin. They allowed us to stay there with him for ages to cuddle him in those final moments and understood how we felt! Highly recommend them! Thank you Vets Now!

They were absoulty wonderful, our Springer spaniel millie was so distressed and in pain with her ears, before we knew it, we were bringing her home, the vet kindly put drops in her ears , which we continue to do. Millie soon settled when she got home. The lovely vet and the lovely lady on reception, who may well of been a veterinary nurse, were so kind and amazing.

Very caring when we had to have our bunny put to sleep out of hours. We had to travel quite a way from our home but the lovely nurse who met us outside and put Lily to sleep was so lovely. Thankyou!

We were upset by my pet's condition and being a weekend we had no local option. However, they were thorough, kind and thoughtful. They are expensive but when confronted by a serious problem what can you do. Pet's come first.

My 16 year old cat was having respiratory problems. We rang the out of hours and immediately went to the surgery. Buster was taken off us and placed in Oxygen tent until we cld speak to vet. He was kept through the night and we were updated regularly. We were contacted at each stage of any treatment or tests they wanted to carry out. Buster was well looked after through the night. The following morning after being cared for Buster's heart was not strong enough. We were called and talked through the options. We can not fault the care Buster had. He would have died a very painful death had we not had access to out of hours. Buster did not suffer, he was taken very good care of. They all worked very hard to try and save him. Thank you for ur kindness. Lynn and Steve.

My Alaskan Malamute had a fall. This was the only vets that would help. Unfortunately due to his injury he had to be euthanised. Everyone who dealt with us were absolutely fantastic and gave us and our dog the dignity we deserved. I would recommend this vet's to anyone looking for compassion. They are superb

Very prompt in response, as all out of hours is expensive .but was disappointed for be charged admin fee for filling in claims form , considering how much the total cost was & how stressed the whole experience was . But this was my first experience of out of hours , perhaps they are all the same ? ..

Although expensive the vet was fantastic with my poorly lurcher! He gave him a thorough examinations and gave him a pain killing injection away from me so he would associate it with me.

What a kind a compassionate vet explained everything that was wrong with my cat Wilson and the likely outcome so with heavy hearts we did what was best for him ,the vet gave us time to say our goodbyes and stay as long as we wanted

Staff friendly, reassuring, though you pay more for this out of hours service, to know your pet can be treated, takes the worry and stress for their wellbeing of you,

Excellent care and advice. Vet and nurse both very friendly and showed empathy and compassion.

Vet good and friendly but grossly overpriced for standard care £191.26 for consultation is preying on pet owners that have no choice but to use your service.
R. S.
Caring, compassionate, explained situation we were at and demonstrated upmost care and respect for our dog.
