Great service on an emergency appointment after a call the night before. Not a long wait and seating area available which was good to place cat basket in as a few dogs walking around. I didn't go in to the examination room (cat can be boisterous so thought they'd need space !) Very pleasant vet who took time to give a good explanation and all covered by insurance. Nice to be able to look around the shop at the same time and see the dogs in the parlour being pampered..flat shop with good access on one level with free parking. Just try to stay away from rush hour when queues into the area are heavy.

The vet hadn't seen my dog before but spent time reading the report and results of his allergies and offered to print them out for me. When I asked if there was any medication for his nervousness when on his walks, she also spent time comparing the ingredients with his results and googled one which she hadn't heard of. Receptionist was also very pleasant and friendly as usual.

It's a very efficient and friendly service although very expensive. A health check, vaccinations and flea treatment set me back £150. I shall be looking into the health care plan for sure.

The whole team are amazing - from initial phone call, visit and consultation. They thoroughly checked out our JR when she was under the weather, reassured us she was OK, and with a clear understanding as we left, we were totally informed to what to do (medication) and check for (day to day).

Booked my horse in for Microchipping and flu jab, reception were polite and were able to get me an appointment quite quickly. Vet arrived on time and explained what he was going to do and asked about my horse's overall health. Turns out my horse was already microchipped but it wasn't recorded on her passport by her previous owner 🙄. The vet was friendly and knowledgeable and he so calmly gave her the jab that I don't think she even noticed!😆 I thoroughly recommend Kenwyn veterinary practice.

Our Labrador recently underwent Cruciate ligament surgery, which Raul and his team carried out. Ella is a fantastic on the reception and is really helpful and remembers my pet everytime I go in. The vet (Kirsty I think) was also brilliant, she was really knowledgeable on bumbles history and remembered her from previous visits. She explained what needed to happen and answered all my questions. Whenever I have a concern about my pets I ring up and am always given help and support. Absolutely fantastic vets!

I am passionate about the quality of professional health care that 'Ziva', my Lhasa Apso receives. She has been a patient at Vets4Pets since she was just aged 10 months and was rescued. Now, she is 11 years old and I can confidently say that bringing her to you then was the absolute Right thing to do. She has always been happy to return to your practise. These years later, Ziva trusts you too, as you have consistently cared for her changing health needs to the highest standard that I could pray for...just as you do, every animal brought into your surgery by their equally concerned human guardian(s). The quality and high standard of care that you have delivered in the last 18 months +, has neverbeen diminished despite the Covid pandemic. Yesterday, Ziva was given exactly what was needed to help her through a urinary infection. We both thank you all sincerely.

I cannot praise them enough for their kindness and understanding. I had to have my cat who was 20 put to sleep. The staff were so caring allowing me to be with her until the end even in these difficult times. They still kept to the social distancing rules. Would definitely recommend them.

I used to work on the reception desk at this branch and have always used them to treat my Mia. She’s almost 13, has pancreatitis and a history of going into shock after day stay vet visits. Mel the vet and the entire nursing staff were so understanding and accommodating, allowing us to stay with Mia as she fell asleep on her premeds so we didn’t have to shut her in the kennel and walk away whilst she was still fully awake. Mel was very aware and concerned to ask about the food Mia required due to pancreatitis which was very reassuring, and went to great lengths to test as many of Mia’s lumps as possible to hopefully prevent Mia needing to be anaesthetised again for the same procedure. I trust them fully with Mia and having both worked behind the scenes and experienced this branch as a customer, I highly recommend this team to everyone who asks for a trustworthy vets. Everyone deserves to know their pet is safe and cared for as much as possible when the owner can’t stay for surgeries and that’s what truly matters.

There have been a few changes of staff, over the years, but we have always had good treatment for our animals, from all of them. Highly recommended.

The vet’s (Kirsty) had expert knowledge on feral cats which was unexpected and extremely appreciated! She did NOT make stupid suggestions such as asking me to daily medicate a feral, which is normal for usual vets who don’t have experience with ferals.

I whole-heartedly recommend Companion Care Vets Truro to any pet owner. The treatment we have received, compared to our 'local' veterinary service, goes far beyond my own gushing eloquence. The difference is night & spaghetti. The care and attention shown has never seemed anything less than genuine; from all of the staff, not just the front-line Vets -and the air most certainly doesn't chime with the £-signs that evidently roll in the eyes of a locally-based practice I would Love to name... Companion Care have gone above & beyond. And I wish that I could only recommend them more highly... Special thanks go to Mark Taylor, the chap that has looked after us in these last few weeks.

Following a far from great experience at St Austells vets 4 pets we took one of our dogs to Truro’s practice and the experience couldn’t be more different!!! The vet who treated Lulu was great with her from the minute they met she could tell and expected Lulu to be nervous. We were so impressed with Truro’s team we have decided to transfer both our girls to this practice! So much more friendly approachable and Lulu seemed far more at ease with them. Perfect!

We recently asked Raul (head vet) to do a home visit for Flynn,our very old GSD who had severe pain and movement problems and we thought we would be saying goodbye to our much loved dog.However,Raul's prescription has worked wonders and his manner with both our GSDs put them at ease immediately.Thank you so much Raul and the nurse who attended with Raul.The treatment our dogs and ageing Birman cats has been fantastic over the years and the girls on reception are really helpful and friendly.
