First time there; the vet explained everything to me, smooth transition from taking my rabbit to be checked over, to being brought back and given the antibiotics. When I asked a question, he answered with thorough knowledge.

Our dog is very nervous but the nurse (actually not sure if she was a vet or nurse but seemed very knowledgeable) was very understanding, helpful and gave us all the information we required before the operation including helping with our request for advice about tablets for an anxious dog. The receptionist was also very helpful.

I was very impressed with vets 4 pets.i had a poorly hamster which had to be resulted in him being put down.considering its only a small.animal the staff there were really lovely and kind which is so sweet. i even got a follow up condolence card which is such a thoughtful touch.the receptionists are really understanding which made a difficult experience a lot easier.

The vets and reception staff are always friendly, attentive, and nice to chat with. My dog is always well taken care of, and enjoys our visits to the vet. I do wish I'd gotten info on the health plan, but other than that, I'm happy with the service I've received.

I phoned the vets as my rabbit was poorly , the vet booked an appointment to see her within half an hour. Her symptoms and the action to be taken were explained very clearly and the outcome was also explained well. The vet was very reassuring as my daughter was very worried for our rabbit. Although the appointments were running late, I felt that the treatment of my cat wasn't cut short in any way. They took time to examine her and clean and drain her abscesses as much as they could. They took their time to ensure she got the best treatment.

Everyone at this vet surgery is brilliant. Very friendly and very helpful. Having a cat and moving place to place I used loads of different surgeries. This surgery and one other in Berkshire are so far the best I have used. Everyone makes me feel at ease and I know my animals (two cats and my dog) are in great hands. My cat had an injury that needed immediate investigation, the staff at vets for pets were able to fit us in for an initial consultation and for x rays the following day, despite being very very busy. As always staff were friendly and helpful and explained everything clearly. They all clearly have a passion for animals and I often recommend them to friends and family.

The Vet saw us as an emergency at 6.15pm having only called half hour prior and was able to give rough diagnosis to an injury. Booked in for appropriate care the following morning. Looked after our bunny and thankfully we were able to bring him home the following evening. Gave instructions on home care and medicine. The following day, Vet called to do a follow up on the rabbit and gave more advice on giving him medicine, which made it alot easier for us. I cant comment on the cost as we just had to pay it to get the rabbit better, we didn't have time to ring around for quotes etc.

This was the first time coming to vets4pets at Watford. We have just moved to an area nearby and are very pleased with the service we received. We have new Chinchilla Persian kittens who came for their first injections. One kitten had his injections, but the other kitten seemed to be a little on the small side, she had had an upset tummy, and the vet advised us that she should wait another three weeks before having her injections. We knew that the vet had had to put down a cat to sleep in the appointment before us (we saw the owners come out, visibly upset and crying and carrying an empty pet carrier.) The kittens obviously cheered him up after this, and they played, and walked around, feeling completely comfortable with him, which is so important on a pets first visit to the vet. He gave them a lot of attention and time and he made us feel very welcome and very happy with the service we received and we will be back in three weeks for the next lot of injections. It was wonderful that that the vet was very kind and explained everything really well and we felt very comfortable and confident in his abilities. The reception staff were also very efficient, friendly and welcoming. We were given a welcome kitten food trial pack with kitten startup package, which included the injections, health check up, and and 4 weeks free pet insurance with PetPlan insurance. The kitten food was excellent for our kittens and I’m so glad it was introduced to us, as the little kitten had problems with her tummy but she is much better and she is now back on her way to normal, and has started to to progress in her growth, so that’s really good. The Vet was extremely kind and caring to us and to the kittens and took his time, and allowed the kittens to explore a little, along the table past the scales and sink, ending up sitting next to the treat box! He gave them a few biscuits and they then were happy to go to him. He was warm and welcoming to us and showed nothing of what I’ve just happened in his last appointment.; We were the ones that mentioned it and he nodded and smiled. He continued on and gave very good care to the kittens and feel very confident to come back, and would recommend Vets4pets to anyone, especially this particular vet and the Watford branch. I have been to another branch before, but this visit to the Watford branch was exceptional!

AMAZING service. They definitely care alot about their animals making sure to inform you on anything your not sure about and making sure the hamster is not anxious and has the correct stuff to live a full life. You can put all the stuff you need near the till and they will check it is everything that you need or are curious about.You can then complete your documents over ownership of the pet. Whilst you pay they will vet check the hamster to make sure it is happy and healthy.Everyone was so nice. I have enclosed a picture of my little 2 month old hammy i got from their just 2 days ago (for me) 17/1/18

Found the Vets and assistants extremely sympathetic and they took great care to ensure my Dog MAJOR's passing was completed in the least stressful way for both him and his Humans. With everything explained fully and given time to be with him the service we received was of the highest standard, thank you so much for this, it made what is always a heartbreaking time much more manageable, Even the small things, such as setting a candle and sign to let others know what was happening showed a care we hadn't experienced at other places (although they probably do), Although money has never been an issue when taking care of him, it was also appreciated that the whole process and individual cremation and casket was still £120 cheaper than another surgery (M) had quoted, Finally thank you, MAJOR may have passed, but we will always have our memories and know that this made it easier to come to terms with. I went for the first vaccination of my kitten. the vet was very calm ant he didn't scared my cat at all. My kitten was very confident and it's a good indicator for me. good service.

Went for one dogs routine check and vaccination, she is having pups so jabs allowed so was told a vet would still give her the checkup. NOW.. all 3 of my dogs are in a free vaccination and 2 check ups a year plan.. vet saw my girl, checked her teeth, heart and stomach, all good, come back before march 22nd for jabs. Phone call following morning saying i never paid £39.50 for the check up. Explained i was on a plan and she never had jabs, still have to pay for the checkup. But the check up was due with the jab, yes BUT she didnt have jab so you pay for the checkup... erm NO. Had i known do you think i wouldve sat there after my appointment time for a 5 minute check and pay £39.50.. when she comes back in march dont do checkup just give jabs.. we cant do that and nurse said she told you the cost.. THEN TELL THE NURSE TO TELL ME TO MY FACE AGAIN as she never did as I would NOT have had her checked for a fee when i am in a plan for free health checks.. i have not and wont be paying and i have not had a return phone call....

The staff are quite rude, and told me if i dont like the prices, then to go elsewhere, which I will do in future. I only gave this rating as the shop has everything you need, but it is very pricey.
