E. M.I cannot thank Grove Lodge enough for what they've done for Penelope. She was hit by a car yesterday and we rushed her to them straight away. They're not Nellie's actual vet but they were the closest and I knew they were emergency care. They took her from me and worked really quickly to check her and calm her down. All the nurses who I spoke to, the vet Suzie and the receptionist who took her in for us, were so kind and patient with me, I was absolutely devastated. Thankfully, Nellie will make a full recovery, after what could have been so much worse and I am eternally grateful to the team who cared for her and operated on her and kept her comfortable overnight. When I picked her up, her medication and care guidance was explained to me so well and I was really made to feel like they cared about her and her recovery. I'm so impressed with you all you all do a fantastic job.

T. L.Why is it always late on a Friday night when a pet takes ill. Rang, gave information, appointment made immediately, given details and then confirmed in a text. Took cat in. Had a 15 minute wait as they were busy so no problem at all. Great vet, explained diagnosis and then given options and costs. Blood results back in 5 minutes. Injection given, on going advice and meds given. Excellent, pricey but essential to get our aging cat out of pain. Lovely vet and receptionist.
J.My neighbour found our cat Hercules looking unwell one evening whilst we were on holiday, and rushed him in to Vets Now, who deal with Grove Lodge's out-of-hours cases. The vet called me via details linked on file from my own vet, and asked for permission to treat him, which I agreed to. They quickly diagnosed a serious intestinal complaint which if left alone would have been the end of him in a matter of hours. They operated that night (2 hour op at 11pm), and called me to update along the way. His was a very acute case, but they managed to save him for which we were extremely grateful. He was treated during the day by Grove Lodge, and switched to Vets Now out-of-hours until his discharge a few days later.
All of the vets and nurses we dealt with were both professional and compassionate, and we have since moved treatment of our cats over to the Grove Lodge/Vets Now team.
D. “. R.Grove Lodge Vets are absolutely amazing! I've been with them for 10 years now and they have been kind, caring and have looked after my dog with exemplary care. The staff there deserve 5 stars and a massive pay rise! I do not feel I can give the company as a whole 5 stars because of their pairing with Vets Now for their out of hours service. Vets Now has to be the worst service I have experienced in nearly 30 years of being a pet owner. The call centre staff are rude, abrupt and have no care other than getting information and passing it on. There is no compassion and it's all about the money for them. Until Grove Lodge dumps Vets Now, I can't promote their out of hours service and will actively tell people to go elsewhere.
L. B.These guys are always brilliant - I have been with them for years and they have always taken great care of my fur babies they explain everything really well and when my beloved kitty had to cross the rainbow bridge they were so caring and compassionate cannot recommend these guys highly enough
R. W.I found an injured owl early in the morning, most vets were closed. Grove lodge took in the owl, they were very friendly and even updated me later in the day as to how the owl was doing. Really impressed by their service.
