My little ratties teeth were too long and desperately needed a trim to prevent damage to her mouth. Even though they are short staffed and not taking on new patients at this time, I couldn't find another vet to trim her teeth for me. They took her on as a matter of urgency. And they did not charge a small fortune. I'm very grateful for their help and kindness.

As a vet myself, I cannot praise Heene Road Vets enough... so kind+ knowlegable, and practical. They successfully dealt with my neighbour"s 16 year old cat (with heart failure, and liver and kidney problems, and a tooth root abcess).... who is doing brilliantly thanks to their extra caring approach

Visited heene Road vets for my dog Babys allergy injections and a check up was seen by the lovely Fiona and Jeremy French both whom are the most amazing vets having saved Babys life back in 2015 I will forever be grateful.From receptionist to nurses everyone was as always so friendly towards myself and Baby who may I say is quite well known in the surgery due to her very diverish behaviour eg she starts screaming even before the injections have got anywhere near her and I fear for other poor souls waiting to see the vets for fear what they are thinking.Thankyou to all at Heene Road for listening and caring for us both I would take my dog anywhere else.

We wouldn't go anywhere else had a litter of puppies. Mum got poorly they saw her straight away twice no appointment nothing. They guided us through hand rearing the pups again if we were worried fitted them straight in to see the vet. Angela the receptionist is first class and was great with everything they deserve this 5 star rating

Treated our cat Shaun with lots of dignity when he was going through his kidney disease. On the day he was put to sleep we got five star treatment. We didn't have to wait in waiting area. Ceri the receptionist rushed us through (very great full for) the. Fiona was very kind and loving throughout the whole process. Sarah also treated Shaun throughout his short time and was Very honest about his condition. UPDATE Ben and gizmo are both under heene. Cannot fault the vets and lovely staff.

Lovely Vets Practice can’t rate them highly enough. All vets, nurses , receptionists professional and caring. Not only looked after our dog Freddie with such care and compassion when he came to the end of his days they took so much care of ours and his brothers feelings too. We have an edition to the family now and she went for her first check up today I honestly wouldn’t take her anywhere else.

Terrible attitude from the receptionist every visit seems to be fairly unpleasant on that side of things. No matter the question/comment or query. The vet service itself however is a 5 star amd we are very happy with, just really really need to sort that awful attitude pls!

Excellent vets who I've used for the last 16 years with my current 2 dogs and 2 cats and previous cat. They are very caring and if it's an emergency have always managed to fit me in. I've recently had a dog and a cat requiring major surgery and they have kept me fully informed, the quote they gave never increased and the aftercare was amazing. Both animals still doing well. All the staff are very helpful and go the extra mile to help out. Would always recommend Heene Road Vets.

When we visited with our dog the vet we were to see was unavailable and the practice owner who was not seeing clients due to office commitments put himself out to check our dog over. When as a result of tests she needed an urgent operation this was carried out within two days. We have always experienced good quality care of all our pets. We would highly recommed this practice as the vets and nurses have always gone out of their way to ensure that our pets are well looked after when in their care. We have been with this practice for many years and never had to complain about the treatment our pets received.

Absolutely fantastic care of my dogs and cat , they go the extra mile to make sure everyone gets the best of care , attention to detail from these vets is amazing . I feel so safe if my animals are not well as I know they will get the excellent care they offer. The skills of the surgeons are amazing two of my dogs have been neutered here and you would be pushed to find the scars and the aftercare was amazing. I highly recommend this surgery

Have been with heene road vets for over 10 years moved out of the area but still travel to them will never change vets. I can not thank them enough for what the have done for my animals over the years. Especially my dog with the on going treatment. 100% recommend them to anyone. All the staff are such loving and caring people and nothing is to much trouble.

As someone who owns a number of handicapped dogs and rehabilitates abused ones, my choice of vet is vitally important to me. My dogs have undergone some extremely complex surgery over the years, all which have been totally successful. On two occasions with separate dogs, despite being advised of negative outcomes by another vet (known in the media), Fiona has diagnosed treatment that has overcome both diagnoses. All staff from Reception to the nurses are friendly and cannot do enough to help and make one feel welcome. I would thoroughly recommend this vet to anyone.

Fantastic care for our 13 year old cat, who had developed an abscess on his back. Phoned Heene Road Vets at 4.30pm yesterday (Friday when we first spotted the abscess) and got an appointment for 5.40pm same day! We haven't registered at a vet, so found these using Google and read the fantastic reviews. The care he received from the minute we walked in with the friendly receptionist to the Vet, Oliver, who treated him was second to none. Thanks also to the poor veterinary nurse who, I imagine, had a job on their hands holding him, as poor Mister was very distressed from the trip in the car, but somehow they managed to shave him, and get rid of most of the poison. He is now on course of anti biotics, and anti inflammatory medicine, and is doing really well, even after a few hours. Thank you Heene Road, hopefully he will continue his recovery, but not sure how we will get him in carrier again to bring him next week! Thanks again, would highly recommend this surgery.

My cat has been off her food, which is most like her and with everything else going on I could do without the worry. Mr French agreed to see my cat the morning after I contacted him, completely observed social distancing with me but gave my cat a full examination. Two days later, having followed Mr French instructions, my cat is back on her food and back to normal.

My cat Reginald recently had a blocked bladder and was with Heene Road vets for over a week whilst he had various surgeries. Thanks for everyone’s help and care whilst Reggie was treated. The vets Fiona and Jeremy have been so brilliant - they both obviously really love animals. The nursing team have also been so caring and great at keeping us updated about his progress. Reggie seems to look forward to visiting Heene Road Vets, and I can understand why when you have such a lovely team!
