Had need to contact Wadars, because of a baby seagull on my flat roof. It was in some distress due to having its legs caught up in twine. So it was unable to walk or take off. I phoned as soon as their office was open & within 45 minutes a gentleman arrived, promptly climbed up, retrieved the bird and freed it from it's anguish. Much to the delight of the baby gulls parents, cousins, aunts, uncles and probably 30+ other relatives that were dive bombing as the gull was being helped. Great service, very polite and very informative. Baby gull was released on to the main roof of the house and after a short rest soon rejoined it's family. No doubt to nick some chips of some poor day tripper on the prom!

I gave up trying to rescue a dog. They , along with all other rescue centres need to make it clear that they have an upper age limit for finding new homes. I was happy to give a home to an older dog . I now have bought a puppy.

We got our kitten from Wadars.They were so lovely ,helpful and friendly to us. They also made a home visit to us to see everything was ok They care very much and Percy was very well loved and looked after by Wadars staff before he joined our family. Would fully recommend Wadars and their lovely caring staff.

I found an injured dove, my local vet said they would put it down because of bird flu! Wadars were lovely on the phone and got a lady over to me immediately as I was soon off to work, the lady who arrived was also lovely, she told me the dove had been attacked and gave me the information of where to take any future birds where they wouldn't be euthanized.

Superb. We found a seal pup in trouble this morning. We didn't want to leave it because we wanted to warn dog walkers who may have had dogs of leads. Tried the bigger people (RSPCSA etc.) who essentially said noone available leave it but then a brilliant madic from Wadars came straight away and rescued the poor thing. He was so sad he was putting his flipper over his eyes as if to say I don't want this any more. With luck he can make a recovery and be a happy seal being fed lots of fish in a sanctuary. His beautiful face looked scared but I think he knew that we were there to help. Like a sick dog would understand. Fingers crossed and well done.

I phoned today as I had a baby seagull behind my fireplace, he had fallen down the chimney. These kind people took him in after a check up at the vets. It's nice to know that these rescue centres are there for the animals ❤️

Unfortunately my mum had to have her cat rehomed, with 3 dogs there was no way i could have the cat, they were so lovely to my mum, and the cat was placed in their new cat centre and re homed within 2 weeks which was lovely
