My beloved cat passed away unexpectedly a few days ago. Rhyd Broughton scanned his chip for me, and went through my options. They're doing a paw print and lock of hair, which was free, and have been so supportive. The receptionist and vet I spoke to were both absolutely amazing.

All the vets are highly experienced and speak to you with the upmost respect,they had to deliver the worst news to me which was a sudden shock,they spent time with me and gave me options,we came to a decision that was best for my cat,he was cremated and I had him back within days,they also went above and beyond by enclosing a beautiful card with a special poem and my cats paw prints,a special touch that I will never forget.

Superb experience always. This practice has been my chosen veterinary practice for every animal I have ever had which speaks volumes. The best veterinary practice in Wrexham. People are complaining about costs etc, it’s quite simple really, firstly - don’t purchase an animal if you can’t afford the upkeep and secondly - you get what you pay for, yes there are cheaper vet practices in Wrexham but I wouldn’t use them for my two boys if they were free! We’ve used these vets for 25+ years and wouldn’t ever go anywhere else, the care & attention they give is second to none and this is from the vets to the girls on reception. Our two boys see Callie who is fantastic, they get excited when they know they’re going to see her and the girls on reception always say they’ve never seen two dogs so happy to be at the vets and that’s down to Callie, the vet nurses & the receptionists. They do everything possible to keep the costs down whilst still giving the best care. I wouldn't consider ordering cheap tablets from the internet as you don't know what you're getting, I have 100% trust in my vet here.

Such a caring and professional service given here. We recently used them for an emergency and the staff were excellent. The treatment was fully explained as we're the potential costs. My pets are well cared-for here, from hamsters and rats to chickens and cats, the vets have always taken the animals’ needs into account and have been happy to give me as much information as I need to make decisions. This is an excellent veterinary practice. All staff are professional, compassionate, efficient, experienced and friendly. The medical staff have great expertise in their field, keep us informed at every stage and are honest and sensitive in stating the options in diagnosis and treatment. We have had 7 dogs under their care including several emergency operations as well as routine care. We couldn't recommend this practice highly enough.

I have been using Rhydbroughton for many years over 40 years with verious pets. I now have 4 cats 2very old ladies and the care they get goes above and beyond. The ladies on the desk are very welcoming and friendly and treat people and animals with respect. I tend to go to the same vet the lovely Rhian Roberts as she knows my cats and treats them with such tenderness and thoroughness and I can normally get an appointment that suits me , but on the odd occasion I have had to see another vet in an emergency the same care and attention is given. It’s not the cheapest vets but the care and friendliness out-ways the cost. I do believe one of my little girls is the eldest cat on their books 25yrs and she is made such a fuss of when we go for appointments . Better transparency needed in the booking an appointment process online as it failed to mention fees so I wasn't aware what costs would be involved and thought as I hadn't received the pet health club annual checkup in the past year it would have covered having a checkup.

The ladies on the front desk are very friendly and helpful and understanding. The vets, without exception are so good with our present and past pets. We have been with this establishment since 1973, with various pets and would not dream if going anywhere else. We also board our cat Todd with them and the are brilliant with her. Todd is a tiny, nervous little soul and they do everything thing they can to make her happy and feel safe.

In 36 years the ethics and detail to care of pets and their owners has been second to none and that is why I wouldn't consider changing. I have had nothing but the highest standard of service from reception staff, nurses and veterinarians.

Friendly, accommodating surgery with good parking and a small walking area outside. Free poo bags provided. The staff are great, the waiting room is clean and spacious, with a separate waiting area for nervous cats. There is also a small shop selling the usual pet supplies. There are free doggy treats on the counter-top. An appointment reminder service is used if you offer your mobile number, where they send a text message to confirm and remind you of scheduled visits. They usually run 10 minutes behind schedule during busy times, so allow for a little over-run. The vets themselves are very friendly and understanding, obviously being animal lovers themselves. Prices are in line with the usual vets bills - ie, not cheap, but they will complete all the forms for you if you need to claim from your pet insurance. Recommended. I wouldn't take my dog to any other vets.

As someone who can’t walk very well I can rely on a member of staff coming to the car to help me with my dog if o need the help. All the staff are very caring. The vet listens to you and acts accordingly and you can have a discussion or get advice. The car park is large and during the Covid-19 Pandemic they have run an excellent socially distanced service with minimal chairs in the waiting room, sanitizer station and ask you to wear a face mask (when you book). I will return and would t hesitate to recomend.

Excellent, first went there 19 years ago with our dog Pinsel, then a bearded dragon, another dog and now our latest dog, Fendi. She is 4 years now but was a couple of times very poorly with stomach problems and last year even had to stay for a couple of days as she couldn't keep any food or water inside and needed extra treatment. She is back to health now thanks to the vets and staff who looked after her. We have been back twice now for routine check ups and she is happy to go in and greet everyone.
