Great service for my dog and he’s on the mend now but absolutely crazy expensive. Not just here but all vets charge absolute extortionate prices. They can charge what they want because they know we love our animals so we will pay it.

Very compassionate and patient staff. Visited under sad circumstances, however I can't fault anything. The vet herself evidently had my dog's best interests at heart and made sure to make the process as gentle as possible, for both her and us. Even the person I phoned up to arrange the appointment was warm and kind, and very compassionate and understanding. It definitely helped make the whole evening easier for those involved. We recently had to have our cat put to sleep using the emergency vet service and I can't fault them. Especially during the current climate. They were caring and compassionate, even arranging for it to be done outside in our car so we could be with him. They also made arrangements for him to be collected by the Pet Cemetery in Holywell the following morning. Thank you for making a difficult time a little easier.

Service was amazing, my dog was seen very quickly. And diagnosed quickly. Great advice given for insurance and cost fully explained. They operated asap, phoned me throughout the night to update me. Becky the vet was amazing and really cared about Elsa and that we knew what was happening. Couldn't recommend more.

I brought my rabbit to VetsNow out of hours service as he was really unwell, not eating and drinking. Straight away over the phone it was clear that my pets were a priority and I was told they were there all night, to arrive as soon as I could and they'd be there to help. I saw Christina and she was fantastic. She clearly understood how to handle rabbits (an issue we've had with other vets who didn't know how to hold them or seemed very unsure as they didn't see a lot of rabbits) and dealt with our grumpy bunny with real care and thoughtfulness. She was professional and decisive with clear instructions to me about what he was being given and why, as well as aftercare. Every member of staff we saw impressed me with their kindness and professionalism. Following our visit I had a detailed email breakdown of my case notes. I've never had this before from a vets but it was very helpful as a reminder of his treatment and medication we took home and when to give it. It also offered helpful advice on other things I could do to help make him more comfortable. Overall very impressed and would highly recommend this service (and as a concerned and worried pet owner I know I can be fussy when it comes to my pets care!!)

We had our beloved westy put to sleep at vets now 3 weeks ago, they were professional and empathic. We wanted him cremated individually and we collected him today along with a heart keyring with his fur in. Glad hes home were he belongs x

Brilliant. Sadly lost my boy and cried for days. The guys there where brilliant and I cannot fault anything at all. Was one of the hardest day in my life and they made it easier. Did not rush us with saying our goodbyes. They were fantastic and I know in my heart my boy is in a good place now. Thank you to the team that was on 2 weeks ago! Very understanding, cut some of his fair in a heart shaped key ring and a paw print that I look and carry with me every day. Wish I could have brought him home alive, but life is life. Brilliant team. Thank you again x

Took my dog for his night time walk, but unfortunately fell in a hole and hurt his leg. I took him to to Wrexham vets now and the staff were just brilliant. Normally my dog gets very distressed going to a vets but here he was very calm which surprised even me. I can't thank them enough, very professional service from start to finish.

Very sad that the fees are so high, however, this out of hours service is needed. Maybe a system for RSPCA vets to attend this service would help low budget owners and pets. Jazzi was seen and professional treatment given and explained in great detail to put my mind put at rest. Everybody very kind empathetic and professional. A very kind wonderful team. Thank you.

Joshua was very helpful and went through everything with us, showing us the X-ray of our dogs legs and explaining the difference between the two helped us to understand the problem with our little dog. Very efficient just a shame they want to be paid upfront and not wait for payment from insurance. I believe there is a charge for completing insurance form which I think is a bit greedy.

Our puppy was very poorly over easter. Vets now were fab. Saw him right away and treated him so well. Everyone was lovely. Our boy is doing amazing now carnt thank them enough.

Sad first comment was the consultation is £150. Would have preferred what's happened that you need an emergency vet. Vet didn't know about MDR1 so no medication could be given.
