I have been working with Loudon Design on both the brand and website design for an independent record label that is scheduled for launch in 2019. I spent several weeks vetting different companies across the UK (the geographical situation of a designer was not an issue as my work takes me all over) but I struggled to find a business that was fully appreciative of what the label’s end goal and aims to achieve it are. I stumbled across Loudon Design in April when visiting a website that they had designed and built for another business. I thought that the site had a look and feel to it that was both current, suited to its industry and very easy to navigate. After reaching out to Loudon Design, my query was responded to promptly by John (Founder) who provided a very relaxed and informative over the phone consultation (with no obligation), and allowed me time to consider what we had discussed. Within a short space of time I decided that Loudon Design was the right company to work and grow our vision with, and from there I was put in touch with their Senior Designer, Dan. The work that Dan has produced on both the logo and website reflects the image that the - predominantly indie/pop - label produces through its music. It is worth noting that Dan managed to achieve this through description only as no music was made available in this design phase. I have been very impressed with Dan’s design work, as well as the very responsive communication from both Dan and John alike. There have been a number of other people at Loudon Design who have been working alongside Dan with the build of the label’s new site and, although I have not had direct communication with them, they have helped to provide a site that in my opinion operates brilliantly, and is of the utmost professionalism. I feel that I must also mention that, mid project, John met with me (during his own personal time to fit my busy schedule) for a face to face consultation, and this was also at a location of my choice. The main purpose of this was to meet John in person and I cannot thank him enough for providing such a high level of client care. In short, I am very pleased indeed that I chose to work with Loudon Design. Quality standards are clearly a big focus for them, and they produced very high (on schedule) standards for the label. Their vision of how the label should look based on description alone is something that they should be proud of, as it makes us feel proud of our business before it is even live! Needless to say, I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with the team at Loudon Design as the label nears its launch, and hopefully grows in the years to come. Salvi Records
