Alyssa is a very calming, warm instructor. I immediately felt at ease and grounded (which is sometimes hard for me to do) every position was perfectly explained. The meditation at the beginning and end of my session gave me ASMR vibes which set me up for my evening allowing me to focus on what I needed to do the following day.
I cannot wait to yoga with alyssa again, thank you for your time and opening up your practice for me.

I was one of those people who thought Yoga was just a lot of nonsense, all about sitting around and getting into positions that looked, to me, as having no benefits to the issues I contended with. I expressed this opinion to Alyssa and she asked me to do one class with her so she can show me how Yoga can help.
One class later, all those predisposed ideas were gone.
Alyssa forms her classes around everyone involved. She always checks how you are feeling and edits the class around those physical and mental barriers we all sometimes have.
A handful of months in, I am paying more attention to what my body is telling me and listen to it.
Alyssa is a caring, dynamic and flexible teacher. If you are a person who isn't quite sure about Yoga, have doubts and questions.
Dandelion Yoga and Alyssa is defiantly the person to reach out to.

Alyssa is a great teacher and designs her classes specifically to your needs. I am an Army Officer and she designs classes for my needs on the PT test. She also is excellent at building programs that help with injuries, finally giving people access to Yoga classes that are catered to their own body and needs. She listens to your feedback in the virtual class and gives you way to improve your poses, as well as how to modify a pose to reduce aches and pains. She is an excellent teacher for beginners like myself. I could close my eyes the entire session and follow along perfectly if I wanted to because she is incredibly descriptive.

Alyssa teaches you yoga from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. I’ve been doing on and off yoga sessions with her for the past couple of months (yay COVID) and I can feel my flexibility steadily increasing.
I have a pre-existing lower back injury, and the way she has taught me body awareness has been really insightful. She is very thorough with the way she explains how to achieve the right movement and work the right muscles. I would highly recommend training here.

My wife and I regularly have yoga classes with Alyssa. She’s got a great variety of sessions throughout the week focussing on different areas, with varying intensities. My neck and back have benefited a whole lot from the Saturday sessions! Thanks a ton Alyssa.. looking forward to the next one.
