Juliana is lovely. I did her Yoga for Stress workshop and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. Your age, size, weight, fitness level is irrelevant. I am overweight, am not as flexible as I used to be and haven't done yoga for years, but Juliana is very sensitive to everyone's needs. I felt she was really well prepared and knowledgeable. She showed me moves to do that were modified to my abilities and I didn't feel stupid or awkward. She has a lovely, calm voice and the yoga studio where she teaches is in an idyllic, tranquil setting - absolutely perfect for a soothing, relaxing, de-stressing yoga practice. The workshop gave me so much information and so much of what she said resonated with me, my nutrition, my sleep problems etc. It helped me understand so much about myself and it made me want to exercise more, inspired me to want to help myself, as well as come back for a class. I went back the following week and did a class and I really enjoyed it. Again, there were moves I found more challenging than the others and Juliana helped me to adapt my movements so that I could enjoy the class and participate with the others. It is the best £20 I have ever spent!

I found Juliana has an excellent energy in class, she is very attentive and takes time to give you instructions that suit you and your ability. She has made coming back to yoga a much less daunting prospect. After doing her beginner course I feel much better equipped for a drop in class and finally understand what I was doing wrong.

I recently attended the Yoga for Back Health workshop with Juliana at Lands Yoga. I practiced some great postures and most importantly learnt very useful theory to help with and to understand my Back Health. Sometimes what seems like a small adjustment can make a world of difference. I highly recommend Juliana for her safe and thoughtful teaching and for her passion for the understanding of the physical theory of yoga and its benefits. Brilliant! Perfect for beginners or those that are more experienced. I started having never done yoga before and found it easy to follow along to instructions. Lots of workshops available to help you develop your practice!
