I attended Abi’s new mum retreat in November 2021 when my daughter was 10 weeks old. I also went to her pregnancy yoga classes which really helped me to keep my body moving and my mind calm.
The garden studio is just perfect and I thought the afternoon was really well thought out and organised in terms of timings. The other mums I met were all so friendly and open and had a mix of how many/ages of children. This gave a nice range of experiences and perspectives.
The yoga itself offered the right balance between gentle and strengthening options and I felt very comfortable to do as much or as little as I fancied. I was recovering from an abdominal birth so I took it really easy.
It was my first experience of a women’s circle so I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s basically just a really good chat and an opportunity to share how you are if you want to. There’s no pressure either way. Everyone just listened and reflected and the space and time to do this was exactly what I needed at that point after becoming a mum for the first time.
Then there were the snacks! All homemade and all delicious, plus a selection of teas to choose from. It was such a treat!
Abi is a wonderful teacher and I felt completely relaxed knowing I was in good hands with her leading the day. If you are looking for some time for yourself (or a loved one) and a moment to take a breath in amongst a busy life then I can’t recommend Abi’s classes and retreats enough.
I was keen to not overstay having timed feedings with my little one. Usually I would stay and chat but it was helpful that the day wrapped up exactly on time so I could get home as planned.
Overall I really enjoyed it and for me it was exactly what I needed to take a step back from the whirlwind of motherhood and reflect on everything. Thank you Abi for making it possible for me to do this x x x

Having done pregnancy yoga with Abi, I recently attended the half day postpartum retreat. Was wonderful! Just what I needed to relax, unwind and stretch 5 months into motherhood. Was also a really good way to rebuild my confidence about getting back into exercise. Would highly recommend it to any mum.
Abi is really friendly, approachable and welcoming. I find her classes easy to follow and she's brilliant at giving appropriate options for all abilities.

Abi’s yoga classes and pre and post baby retreat are parts of my motherhood journey that I think I will always look back on with fond memories! The pre baby yoga classes and retreat helped me stay strong physically and mentally ready for the arrival whilst the post baby retreat was a much needed opportunity to unwind and reflect with other new mums! I really love Abi’s yoga sessions as the moves are adjusted depending on stage of motherhood and there are lots of variations depending on how your journey is going and what’s bits feel or don’t feel so good for your body at that point in time. I especially loved the mediation and visualisation parts - Abi encoporates beautiful empowering readings to the relaxation part of her sessions. She has a very kind and supportive disposition and after each class or session I have always felt envigorated and ready for the days ahead! Thank you Abi for helping me on my motherhood journey!! :0) p.s the snacks on the retreats are deeelish 😋

Abi is a wonderful yoga instructor. I have been attending her classes since early on in my pregnancy, and she has had a hugely positive impact on my experience. She understands the pregnancy journey and the classes are pitched just at the right level with lots of different options depending on how you are feeling. She is so calming and I always feel like a new person after each class. The retreat was just what I needed and I look forward to attending others in the future!

Such a lovely relaxing afternoon spent with a small group of fellow Mums in a beautiful space. Abi made me feel very relaxed and comfortable in order to make the most of the retreat. It was the first time I’d spent more than an hour away from my son and I came away feeling refreshed. The fresh home made treats and goody bag was an added bonus. Would recommend to any Mum in need of a bit of ‘me’ time X

I attended Abi's yoga classes via Zoom throughout my pregnancy. I really enjoyed the classes and found I looked forward to them each week. Abi's classes are perfect if you're keen to stay active during your pregnancy - for me her classes were a great mix of flowing movement and strength work appropriate for pregnancy, as well as an opportunity for relaxation. Abi is a really good teacher (you can tell she's a trained classroom teacher as well as a trained yoga instructor!) and her approach is calm and supportive. She sends great playlists for online classes too!
I recently went to an online mini retreat with Abi and it was wonderful. She delivered a box of treats to enjoy as part of the retreat and it felt like a really special experience even though it was on Zoom from home.

Cannot recommend the postnatal yoga enough! I still remember how wonderful I felt after doing my first postnatal session and I continue to do them. Abi provides knowledgeable, relaxing sessions that are adaptable to how you're feeling/ what you want to achieve. There's also enough challenge so you feel like your body is coming back together again.

I was 4 months postpartum at the time of this virtual yoga retreat. W e received individual retreat boxes in the post, which was a lovely touch! The course was done at a steady and manageable pace. Abi made us all; feel welcome and valued and I thoroughly enjoyed having this quality time for me!

It was such a pleasure joining these yoga sessions. They have been so helpful and relaxing and you definitely feel the support from not only Abi but the community of Mom’s joining in. Abi is such an amazing instructor and definitely guides you along your journey. These classes will definitely leave you in a deep sleep. Would highly recommend booking with Abi.

I have been attending Abi’s prenatal classes for most of my pregnancy & I absolutely love them, really look forward to the class every week. They were face to face but now over Zoom and the quality of the class has remained the same. I have practiced yoga for a number of years now and what I love about the class is that Abi always gives a number of modifications so enables me to continue to challenge myself. There is a great balance of strength work, breath work, relaxation and those all important pelvic floor exercises! With attending the classes you also gain a network of support with a general chat before class so we can all check in with how eachother is getting on, share knowledge and ask questions. Something that is very valuable when it’s your first pregnancy.
Abi is a fantastic teacher and I can’t recommend these classes enough. 🙏🏻

I practiced yoga before I was pregnant and found that a lot of the pregnancy classes were a bit too easy and not really what I was looking for. Abi’s class is much closer to the yoga practice I was used to and adjusted safely for pregnancy. It’s also equally as good for anyone just trying yoga for the first time whilst pregnant. It’s an amazing class and one where I felt I’d still been very active. Highly recommend this class!

I’ve attended Abi’s virtual ashtanga classes throughout lockdown and absolutely love them. Abi’s classes are very well paced and easy to follow, with lots of variations offered to suit your ability and/or energy level on that day. She gives great verbal cues and demonstrates poses/flows when needed, but she also keeps a close eye on her students to make sure everyone’s ok. Her playlists - which she sends as a Spotify link before the class so you can chose whether or not to practice to music - are excellent too, and for the pace of the classes perfectly 🙂

I have done Abi’s pregnancy yoga classes since I was 16 weeks pregnant and I have loved everyone of them. It has helped with my balance, stress and anxiety levels and helped provide the right techniques for coping in birth. She has a lovely calm nature and is willing to
answer questions at any time about how your body is feeling in pregnancy, which has been so beneficial for me as a first time mom. In this period of uncertainly she has also made every effort to continue the class by using remote learning which has been ideal for me. I have never tried yoga before so hopefully after baby I can continue! Thank you Abi

Fabulous pregnancy yoga class. Small and intimate. Abi adjusts techniques to allow for any pregnancy related difficulties but keeps the class at a level that you still get a great yoga session. Lots of focus on breath work and pelvic floor management too.
Will definitely be doing her postnatal class as soon as I can!

Abi's classes are fantastic, each one is enjoyable and varied. Abi cues each posture clearly and concisely with lots of emphasis on breathing techniques. Abi is calm, patient and positive and it is clear how passionately she feels about yoga and sharing her knowledge with others. I can feel myself gaining strength, my range of movement has definitely improved and with Abi's guidance I have achieved my goal of doing a headstand! I always finish Abi's classes feeling refreshed, uplifted and re-energised!

I look forward to these classes each week. Abi has a lovely, calming style and offers many modifications which enable you to take each posture at your own pace.
An amazing teacher and a splendid group of people to practice with.

What can I say! I have loved my yoga sessions with Abi and fellow yogis. I started a beginners course back in the autumn with a friend and whilst feeling really nervous I needn’t have been. Abi is so calm and kind. She put me at ease and reminded us all that it was our own individual practice and we were to listen to our bodies at that time and enjoy it. I looked forward to each weekly session. I then moved onto the Kenrick Centre and really enjoyed my practice on our lovely room...then COVID-19 struck and Abi enabled us to keep our practice by going with online weekly sessions which has been brilliant!
I have improved in my own way and sometimes I found I hit a sweet spot where it all came together, a really good feeling! I’m doing bits and bobs but really can’t wait to get going again with Abi. My yoga sessions with Abi have made a real difference to me. I feel really comfortable and don’t mind ‘having a go’! Thank you Abi 🙏🏼

Abi is an incredible teacher. Really appreciate her guidance and knowledge taking my practice to the next level whilst making the classes really varied and fun. Highly recommended!!! Namaste.

Abbie makes you feel comfortable and confident as soon as you start. Lots of support and a really uplifting feeling. The classes are a great way to forget the day and spend some time on yourself.

Thanks Abi, without knowing you guided me through a tough 12 months. My postures improved more than ever and i am now able to do the things i never thought i could. Even the zoom meetings during lockdown were just what i needed to get me through. Cannot wait to start again soon
