I only started attending Hotpod (Bristol) yoga classes since July - and it has been an incredible experience! As someone who enjoys a regular yoga practice, this place has become like a second home for me. The teachers are all fantastic, very warm and welcoming, which makes it a lovely place to visit frequently. Doing yoga in the pod is not only a highly immersive calming experience, but the heat is also a major contributor getting deeper into my poses. I never fail to walk out of each class feeling light and relaxed! I have been raving about it to all my friends, so I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try hot yoga.

I’m new to this type of yoga (& to yoga!) but the nurturing flow classes are brilliant! They’re perfect after a long week, offering a welcoming and supportive space to relax and unwind. The space is bright, friendly & welcoming, with the instructors supportive and their teachings easy to follow - all levels are catered for. I sleep so well in the days following my class and my body feels relaxed, calm and more flexible. I’d definitely recommend : )

Wow what a fantastic find. Hot pod yoga is an amazing space run by a fantastic team. I look forward to my class each week, my flexibility and strength has improved since starting. It doesn't matter at what stage you are at or whether you are having a good or bad week the classes are flexible so you can practice yoga at your own level. It is a wonderful place where you can escape for an hour and come out feeling totally relaxed. Well done Frances, George and the team.

My first experience was the best, so much so that I decided to join as soon as I was back in Bristol! Had never been interested in yoga before until last December I decided to try hot pod yoga!! Surprisingly, It was so relaxing and calming. All the teachers are really friendly and welcome! I'd tried hot yoga before but really like the style of the Hotpod classes, each class varies so it doesn't become boring and I find the teachers really helpful, providing some great tips on how to improve as well as the hands-on adjustments. The classes are both challenging and really relaxing due to the lovely lighting in the pod. I always leave a class feeling refreshed and re-energised, and really notice the difference if I skip a week!

From the moment you step in you are immersed into a little bubble of Hotpod which really makes you feel valued as a customer. Easily the best yoga class and experience I’ve ever had. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable teachers, fantastic Back to Basics workshop (wonderful for developing and deepening your understanding of poses), ambiant atmosphere - it’s life changing. They cater to beginners up to advanced yogis and as a curvy lady, I have been given a real sense of belonging that I haven’t really experienced in a yoga class before. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic studio. All the instructors are welcoming, and have such different styles of teaching, so there is something for everyone. It is more than just a studio, it feels like a community. There is always free tea and coffee and you never feel rushed out. Would highly recommend trying it.

Calming, relaxed yet very professional atmosphere and excellent teachers. Facilities are clean and comfortable. As a long term yoga practitioner (off and on) I did notice the lack of discipline among other attendees - lots of noise and chatter immediately before class but the average age is relatively young and the studio is new so this is to be expected. Will definitely go back.

Absolutely wonderful space run by a brilliant team. The welcome, the music, the warmth, the ambience and the teaching itself - all top notch. I love going to a Hotpod Yoga class here. The owners Frances and George have created a fantastic studio to practice your yoga whether you are in your practice. All the teachers are so supportive and encourage you to listen to your body whether you need to take lots of breaks during the class and rest in Childs pose or try the different poses they suggest. The heat is so welcoming, especially during the winter! Definitely recommend checking this out.

Absolutely love it here, all the teachers are great and they each have their own style so no two classes are the same. I love that you are encouraged to try new things and the teachers provide you with the support and adjustments you need. My best friend raved about this place as if it had changed her life, so I tagged along for a class and haven't had a break of more than a few days from classes since! Frances, George, Tiff and Kate all have their own styles of teaching which lends a great variety to practise, but they are all equally approachable, friendly, professional and accommodating. The space is gorgeous, with changing, showers, chill out space and the Pod itself is like an escape from reality, perfectly heated, low-lit, smelling like a spa with ambient music. I leave every time with a smile on my face and feeling utterly relaxed and ready for my day/evening. I've also found I don't suffer the aches and pains from my other training since doing these classes regularly. My best friend and I have now invested in the essential oils they diffuse in the Pod so we can recreate the ambience for our practise at home. If, like me, you're a bit a cynic, just try it out, it's hands down my best discovery of 2019.

Cannot recommend Hotpod Yoga enough. I have tried both yoga and pilates at other studios but never felt quite right in the classes. Hotpod has been a perfect fit for me - the classes are so peaceful, giving the perfect atmosphere to get in the zone. Each class is unique so nothing gets repetitive, which has enabled me to progress in strength and flexibility like never before. My absolute saviour on earth. This is so good for your mind, body and soul. I can't really even describe how nice the teachers are, as soon as you walk in they make such an effort with everyone and by the next class they seem to know exactly who you are and what you're about. I come out of every class feeling so much better on my bad days, and on top of the world on my good days. If you're on the fence, try the great starter offer that allows a load of classes within a week (or 10 days?) for a one-off price - it's definitely the best way to get into it. Also, if you're worried about feeling light-headed or unstable - I definitely have some sort of undiagnosed blood pressure problems (easily light-headed / pins and needles / head-rushes when I stand up too fast) and I've never found it to be a problem, it's a bearable heat that you get used to, I didn't even really realise how much I was sweating until I could feel it (and trust me, you begin to love the feeling of getting sweaty!)

I love HPY so much. As my job keeps me very busy, I don't get to go as often as I would like but when I do get the chance, it always brings me back to a much needed place of peace. That peace happens instantly when you step inside the pod. It is like stepping inside someone else's head for 60 minutes and all you have to do is listen to the sounds and the voice. The release of sweat and tension with the push and the pull of the practice feels a bit like rinsing out laundry and you leave feeling clean (even though you are a sweaty mess). It's mindful and introspective in a way that you can't really replicate in normal life. Where shall I put my foot now, how does it feel, can I make it feel different, etc. And it feels like that every time. The practice itself is tough, but that is what takes you out of your own thoughts and into the HPY mind. It's honestly a joy. Get down there immediately, if you haven't already :)

When this studio first opened I was so keen to give it a try. Having dabbled in various yoga classes before, I had never really found the right one for me, until trying a class here! The instructors are so friendly and supportive and they made me feel extremely comfortable whilst making sure I got the best out of each class. For me, hotpod yoga has been the place where I can progress my fitness whilst achieving that moment of calm and relaxation we all need. During lockdown the team have adapted so well, and I can't wait to get back in the studio. I would highly recommend!
