Frances’ classes are amazing - a wonderful blend of mindful relaxation and focused physical practice. Her yoga is accessible to all levels, as she shows how to do each pose clearly and provides easier or harder variations depending on your level. Frances is friendly and welcoming - I would highly recommend her classes!

I started doing pregnancy yoga with Frances a month or so ago and I love it. Frances tailors the sessions to suit everyone according to their pregnancy stage and symptoms. She is very knowledgeable and teaches us useful techniques to help during labour. It’s also lovely to get to know other prospective mums in the area. I recommend yoga with Frances in the highest possible terms.

I have never tried yoga before and was super nervous going to my first class. Frances and the other ladies made me feel so welcome and reassured.
As I already have a toddler at home I really felt like I needed to do something to connect to my body and my new baby. These classes are invaluable in creating this time that is just for you and your baby, putting aside any stresses of everyday life and finding some calm. The exercises are very adaptable and Frances always demonstrates alternatives if you feel uncomfortable.
I cannot recommend Frances and her class highly enough.

I've been doing pregnancy yoga with Frances for a few months and really enjoying it. She not only designs each class with the attendees in mind (taking into account our various pregnancy symptoms), but also gives tips and information about how the yoga and breathing exercises can help us going into labour and birth. She's also helping to create a community so we can get to know each other and have a support network once the babies arrive, which is invaluable with a lot of antenatal classes still not running. All in all, highly recommend and look forward to doing normal yoga with her afterwards!

I highly recommend Frances as your yoga teacher. I started taking classes with Frances when I first moved to Portishead and found out I was pregnant.
Frances has always been welcoming and friendly, she is a knowledgeable teacher who tailors her classes for her students. Each move is clearly demonstrated and alternatives are always shown. Frances creates a really inclusive and welcoming space for her pregnancy yoga class. She knows each of us as an individual and is mindful of our abilities and any pregnancy complications. Frances talks through variations and gives options to allow adaptations of each exercise. She has lots of practical tips for preparing for birth and has helped facilitate a supportive social network amongst the group. Highly recommended!

I'm really pleased to have discovered Yoga Glow, having been to a number of other classes over the years... Until Frances, I'd not really found a class nor a teacher that I felt comfortable with to lead me on my beginners journey into yoga. Frances really lives the values of yoga - as well as being a knowledgeable teacher of the art and science of the practice. Frances is a fantastic teacher- I went to her with no self confidence and various health problems and through the yoga and support she has built up my confidence, taught me that our bodies are amazing and helped me to tone up, lose weight and encouraged me to enjoy exercise. Frances has a real gift for teaching yoga. So warm and friendly, a positive, calm energy, and she is very passionate about how yoga can truly help and nourish everyone in many ways.
Frances' yoga is the perfect accompaniment to my running, and I now do her yoga stretches after running as I find them more beneficial and effective than the more typical runner's stretches.
Her clear instructions mean you can easily follow each pose whether online or in the class. She provides progression for each posture enabling you to work at a level which is appropriate for you. You quickly make progress with Frances as your teacher. And I have found I feel strong and resilient mentally through practicing her yoga.
Frances' yoga truly is a holistic practice for the body, mind and soul. It is transformative and I couldn't be without yoga now!

I've been attending classes with Yoga Glow studios during lockdown over zoom. Frances is a fantastic teacher, no two sessions have been the same so far, I love the variety in my practice.
The sessions are well paced and there are options for different levels of experience. The classes have helped me improved my core strength, overall muscle tone and given me a calm space to reset each week during such a challenging time.
I have been to one class in person and really looking forward to continuing practicing IRL!

I've been attending Frances' Yoga Glow classes for 2 months, and have really begun to feel the difference. After a slow start (after a year of lockdown and deskwork, I'm not at all fit, like some in the class), I have noticed I'm sleeping much better, my posture has improved, I am more aware of my body, and am beginning to strengthen up, lasting a whole class. I'm amazed at how Frances manages different levels of fitness in the same session. There is always time to relax, stay where you are, or support to try something more challenging. Everyone is challenged at their level, where they are. In the class there is opportunity for almost constant flowing movement, where there is a rhythm which helps through the new postures that are introduced at every session. I love the blend of online and in person, where Frances creates a supportive, motivating and accepting atmosphere. Right now you can attend on a class-by-class basis, so well worth trying out for yourself! Give it a go!
