Laura’s Pilates class for stronger bones is a progressive course and I always feel that I have worked hard in a controlled safe manner. Laura checks to see if you have any issues at the beginning of each class to ensure you work safely, and is suitable for all abilities.
Classes are small and friendly and Laura
Is calm and serene and whilst you work hard you still leave the class feeling calm and relaxed. I certainly feel better for attending Laura’s class. Would highly recommend.

Having suffered with lower back problems for about 20 years, I’ve learnt that Pilates with a sensitive teacher can really help. But the wrong exercises can also exacerbate underlying injuries so the teacher really needs to understand how different bodies can tolerate different types of strain.
Luckily, Laura is this type of teacher. She is always alert to the needs of people like me who enrol for the Gentle Exercise classes - or the equivalent. All of us have battered bodies from years of wear and tear so we know that we need to treat them with respect if they are to go on working for many more years. All of us appreciate someone who really encourages us to be active and stay active. At the same time, the routines are never boring. I am really impressed by the range of exercises that we cover in just a few classes. Each class is different and the exercise sequences balance each other really well. So, just when our hamstrings are beginning to ache, Laura will make us focus on different exercises that will give the hamstrings the rest that they need.
I can recommend Laura’s classes to anyone who wants to fine-tune those muscles that have been allowed to do very little work in the inactive lives that we tend to lead. I particularly recommend to all the middle-aged men out there who know they don’t get enough exercise but don’t want to throw themselves into competitive activities. There are no PBs (personal bests) in Pilates as far as I can see. Long may it continue with teachers like Laura making classes as varied and as enjoyable as possible.

Newly diagnosed with osteopenia at a young age; Laura's healthy bones class has helped me feel I am protecting my bones for the future. I lost my confidence with exercise due to joint pain from my cancer treatment, and she has always made me feel at ease- her classes are so welcoming and friendly.
