Reviews of Lexden Rackets & Fitness Club
T. O.Sited next to a private school just off the A12 (and not really in Lexden at all) this sports and social club has a swimming pool, 5 squash courts, small gym and three outdoor floodlit tennis hard courts, plus bar and snack area.
The building housing it needs some TLC as it's quite old and a bit ramshackle.
Fairly pleasant location though you can always hear the traffic nearby.
A sort of down-market David Lloyd's really.
L. S.Rob Twyman is the best tennis coach around!
N. F.Lovely friendly club. Taking their Covid responsibilities properly making it a safe place to play squash, racketball and swim!
E. M.Brilliant squash club, great for all ages. Gym facilities are good, a bar serving coffee or beer and an outdoor space. Swimming pool, good and clean
H. T.Great club with enthusiastic & friendly tennis coaches who have welcomed us as visitors for junior tournaments & inter-club team match nights.
