Phillipa at Oakwood Yoga is friendly, kind and fun - and a great teacher. I learnt to do yoga and to meditate at Phillipa's classes. I have now been "yoga-ing" and meditating for 8 years and am so pleased I found these classes.

Phillipa is a unique teacher and I've been attending her classes for about 4 years. Every class is different and I'm constantly learning new things about yoga. The classes are very inclusive and Phillipa gives good modifications and health guidance to help you on your journey. I really love her step by step approach and the way she includes yoga philosophy in a fun accessible way.

Phillipa’s class is a holistic calm space where the physical practice of yoga embraces mindfulness that leads to spiritual well being. However anyone who has never tried yoga before or who has health issues is welcomed into the group and helped to achieve the poses by an empathic teacher!

I have been attending Phillipa‘s yoga classes for almost 9 years. I love the way she includes some familiar poses to help us learn and remember, along with new content to keep our brains awake. We begin with meditation, and end with a relaxation. I began yoga to tone my core muscles and support my back. Whilst that worked, I also found my brain got a real break for an hour and a half. Phillipa has a lovely warm personality, and always pays attention to particular needs such as people who have to take care of their back or knees, or are dealing with illness. She goes to lots of yoga courses and is always sharing new things with us. Highly recommended!

I had wanted to try Philippa’s classes for a long time, but couldn’t because I don’t live in the UK. Since she started doing the online classes, I have felt very lucky at being able to attend her wonderful Yoga sessions. She is a real professional, you can tell she puts a lot of thought into preparing her classes which are always a great balance of ‘mind’ and ‘body’ yoga. She is kind and encouraging to everyone and a wealth of information on all things yoga-related! If you are thinking of trying her classes - do! You can experience for yourself the happy warm glow that you get after a class with her!

Phillipa is a great teacher, adapting postures and moves for all abilities so that everyone feels included regardless of any physical limitations.
