I having been going to Dru yoga classes with Alison for a while now. When I saw she was doing Yin yoga I was intrigued so booked a class.
Must say I was slightly apprehensive of trying to stay in a pose for a while. As always, Alison gave lots of information about the benefits of this practice. I absolutely loved it and my concerns were quickly gone. The poses were great and it felt lovely staying in one place for a short while. Great for the body AND mind. So glad I tried
Thank Alison

This is my first experience of Yin Yoga and I have found the class to be very calming. The poses are held for several minutes and this physical stillness feels really beneficial. While your body is having a lovely stretch, your mind has the chance to recover from all the day -to-day activity in our hectic lives. Alison creates the perfect atmosphere and is very attuned to our individual needs. It is a very welcoming environment and folk of all abilities and ages will love the classes on offer.

Having reaped the benefits of Alison's 'magic hands', I cannot recommend her skills highly enough. For the last four years I have enjoyed the many benefits of her diverse range of therapies, from Indian Head Massage to Reflexology to Eastern Facial Massage. Having Parkinson's Disease means I have many diverse symptoms and my many sessions with Alison [her Gentle Yoga classes have greatly improved my balance and co-ordination] have never failed to bring me relief, relaxation and a wonderful sense of wellbeing.

I had a mindfulness meditation session with Alison this afternoon. It felt very relaxing for my body and mind both. Alison has a very positive approach and a very soothing voice. It was lovely to attend a session which I did online and very kind of Alison to accommodate me in her busy schedule on a short notice.
Absolutely recommend her !

Attending the yoga classes led by Alison on a Wednesday evening is one of the highlights of my week! The poses are gentle and as a novice I find that Alison guides and explains amazingly well taking into account everyone’s ability’s. There is a guided relaxation at the end of every class which is restorative and relaxing - I leave feeling like I’ve pressed my reset button ready for the rest of the week.🧘♀️

I attended one of Alison’s mindfulness workshops online. I really enjoyed the practices within it including moving and candle light meditation. I felt relaxed and connected after it. Alison is very knowledgable and supportive. She holds a lovely, welcoming space. As a busy mum it really helped give me some time for myself to restore and rest. Thank you Alison. I’d highly recommend.

I have been to lots different types of yoga classes over many years and can honestly say that Alison's Dru Yoga is by far the best.
I feel very fortunate to have discovered this class which takes place in a lovely, welcoming environment.
You will feel the many benefits to both mind and body from your first class and will leave relaxed and refreshed and looking forward to the next one.
