I have been attending Heather's baby yoga class with my 3 month year old and we are both loving it. My little girl absolutely loves all the singing and baby exercises, and I love the chilled atmosphere and the yoga for mums part. Heather is a Ray of Sunshine in a post-natal haze! She is great. Would thoroughly recommend any of her classes.

Heather is amazing. I joined her pregnancy yoga at 14 weeks and she was a little haven throughout lockdown. Her breathing techniques got me through the progression of labour.
As soon as my baby arrived, we joined her Baby Massage classes - such a lovely, lovely class and Heather was full of excellent tips for all sorts of ailments for mum and baby.
We are now doing Mum abs Baby yoga with her. The class is fab. A great mix of singing, playing, learning about postpartum bodies and just a great way to exercise and bond with your baby.
Don’t think 5 stars is enough. I’ll be forever grateful to her for the part she’s played in my parenting journey.

I started this class a month or so ago with my now 6 month old and we’ve loved it so far. It’s a great balance of gentle yoga for mums and baby too. It’s a nice relaxed environment and Heather makes you feel very welcome. It’s a lovely way to meet other mums too. I’ll definitely be signing up to the next block!

I look forward to this class every week, it’s my favourite of all the baby classes we attend. The perfect balance of activities for baby and for mum. Heather has such a gift with mums and babies, incredible patience and tailors and adjusts the class to suit individual needs. She is able to adapt exercises to include babies regardless of their mood and is always such a warm and caring presence.

Myself and my son have been doing mum and baby yoga for a few weeks now and we both love it! I can’t describe how she does it but she makes such a calm welcoming space for everyone to take an hour and do yoga. She is so good at getting the mums to tune in with the babies energy level through the class and always moves on to a different stretch or song if the babies and getting unsettled. Normally by the end of the 20 minute baby section my son is sooo chilled out he can be found snoring on the mat! Perfect for me to then get a good work out in. She teaches mums so much! I am so grateful to her for teaching me some tricks to play with my 3 month and get him moving his body. The classes are also brilliant for meeting some other new mums who are all winging it too! Will definitely be signing up for another block cause I think our week wouldn’t be the same without Heathers amazing class

I started yoga with heather a few months ago after searching for an online pregnancy yoga class. I really enjoy Heather’s classes and it has allowed me to continue practising yoga after falling pregnant as previous classes I used to attend would have been far to strenuous. I’m pleased to hear Heather also teaches other types of yoga as I’m hoping I can return to yoga after my pregnancy and will definitely be considering taking up one of Heather’s classes.

Heather’s classes are brilliant, I’ve been practising with her for almost 8 years, both pregnancy yoga classes, Ashtanga and Flow classes. What Heather taught me in pregnancy yoga I took into the birthing room with me, the breathing techniques were so helpful during labour. Classes are all online over Zoom at the minute which is super convenient and just as effective, I always get an amazing sleep after the Wednesday Flow class!

Heather Burns is an exceptional yoga instructor! She has an awareness and expert knowledge of the body that enables her to effortlessly facilitate the safe practice of yoga. I have been practising different types of yoga at various studios for over ten years now. I am so pleased to have found Heather online again during COVID times. These classes were a lifeline to me and helped with my postnatal recovery. I'm a regular at her Wednesday beginners Santosa Flow and highly recommend all of her classes.

I have been attending Heathers pregnancy yoga class on Monday evenings since the start of my second trimester.
I hadn't attended any virtual yoga classes before this, or any pregnancy classes, but had done some yoga before.
I immediately felt totally relaxed with Heather and the rest of the women in the group, the atmosphere was really calm and welcoming.
Heather always takes the time to check in with everyone at the start of the class, and makes sure the class fits the needs of the group, targeting any areas we've requested help with. When I said I had a headache , she invited my partner in ( and anyone else's in the class) and taught them how to do a head and neck massage!
I have loved learning birthing breathing techniques, hearing positive birth stories from other women in the class, and hearing handy tips and advice for all sorts! It's allowed me to be part of a group even though it's lockdown!

I joined Heathers pregnancy yoga class at 16 weeks pregnant. It was such a great way to prepare for birth, have some ‘me’ time each week and make new mama friends. Heather is amazing and the classes were friendly, fun and informative. I am now attending baby massage with my little one which is so lovely for both me and my baby. It’s great to continue to see fellow yoga buddies with their little ones at massage. I highly recommend Heathers classes.

I first meet Heather at her pregnancy yoga class over 6 years ago which I loved and I'm convinced her yoga practices contributed to the positive birthing experience I had with my daughter. I have now been doing yoga classes online with her for a year and its been one of my lockdown highlights. I can't recommend her classes enough!

I've attended Heather's baby massage and mum and baby yoga with my little one and we've both loved the classes. Heather has a great approach and makes everyone feel welcome, which is fantastic especially for brand new parents. The classes are always baby-led with flexibility for you to care for your little person if they need it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her! Booking is easy and flexible class passes are great when you're not sure of your schedule.

I started attending Heather’s pregnancy yoga class in Edinburgh last year from around 16 weeks pregnant and loved it so much I continued right up to birth, and subsequently have been attending baby yoga with my little one, which he also loves. I found the pregnancy yoga classes so relaxing and fun - it’s not only somewhere to go to enjoy yoga itself, but Heather really tailors her classes each week to the women's general aches & pains through pregnancy which was a huge help to me, not to mention her warm, fun and refreshing approach which would no doubt always have us laughing every time and with our spirits lifted! My little boy also loves her baby yoga class too, and I’m looking forward to continuing to attend as long we we can!

I've been attending Heather's pregnancy yoga class since I was 14 weeks and am really enjoy it. Before each class everyone has the opportunity to say how they are feeling, and Heather will alter classes to suit people's different aches and pains. Heather is a great teacher and really cares about all the mamma's to be in her class. Would definitely recommend this class to all pregnant ladies.

Heather’s Santosa Flow Wednesday class and Sunday’s Restorative Yin Class have kept me grounded during lockdown. To be able to join the class and feel the outside world ebb away and gain some equilibrium has been priceless. The classes are friendly and welcoming and despite not meeting in person we have formed a wee community. Heather communicates the postures well offering alternatives to accommodate anyone’s injuries. I attended Heather’s classes several years ago and am so delighted to have found her again.

I loved Heather’s mum and baby yoga and baby massage classes - (briefly pre-covid and then online). They were really lovely activities to do with my little one and a nice way to get to meet and chat with other new mums. Really can’t recommend classes enough :) Thank you Heather!

Tuesday evenings are now the highlight of my week! Antenatal yoga with Heather has afforded me a renewed sense of wellbeing, calm and excitement about my changing body, mind and growing baby!
Feeling the physical benefits of creating more space, both externally and internally, to fully experience this wonderful journey. Heather is a compassionate, knowledgeable and engaging yoga teacher. Cannot recommend enough.

I've been going to both baby yoga and baby massage with Heather in Edinburgh, and thoroughly enjoy both sessions! Heather is a font of knowledge about the pregnant and post-natal body and mind as well as that of your baby. The classes are fun and strike the right balance between activity for baby and activity for mum. It's also been a great opportunity to meet other new mums. 5 stars!

I am so glad that I found Heather's pregnancy yoga class. The "Our World Yoga" studio the nicest I have ever been in, and the Pregnancy yoga classes were amazing, just the right pace and a really friendly, kind environment is created by Heather. I now have a five-month-old daughter and we now go to Baby and Mum yoga. My wee one loves the yoga and the songs and lights up every time she hears them and, for me, it's a good opportunity to stretch! :-)

Heather’s yoga class during my pregnancy was an amazing space to reflect on becomming a Mum for the first time. She’s thoughtful, helpful and so friendly, she just made the whole experience easier. And it didn’t matter that I’d never even attempted yoga before!
Coming back to baby yoga was really great and really good fun. Seeing the same faces each week and knowing Heather is there to help with aches and pains as well as baby tips is a huge weight off your mind. I’ve recommended it to so many people and can’t express how great this class really is for both Mum and baby.

I attend Heather's pregnancy classes. This is my second pregnancy, I went the first time round and was really excited about getting to do it again! It's such a great part of my week, amazing to actually take some time to engage with my own body and how it feels. Heather is really good at tailoring the class to the needs of the individuals in it and always creates an open and relaxing atmosphere. Love these classes!

I went to Heather's pre natal yoga class back in 2015 and have never looked back. I have since done mum and baby yoga with Heather and am currently attempting her Ashtanga class. Heather is a fantastic yoga instructor, she teaches sympathetically and is approachable and fun. Having many problems with my hip, Heather makes sure that I have alternative postures if there are any I am unable to do.
I would whole heartedly recommend Heather's classes to anyone, it doesn't matter if you're new to yoga or been practicing for years, you will not regret it.

I love Heathers Classes!!! The pregnancy class was pitched at just the right pace for everyone; earlier pregnancy or with a huge bump, pelvic pain or feeling great. I genuinely think it keep my body in the best condition without over-doing it. Now I still go with my wee one and we both love it! It’s a lovely class for the babies, where we all get a chance to do our thing. Heather makes it a really friendly, welcoming space where positive vibes are encouraged, but peer support when you need a moan is there too!

I attended Heather's antenatal yoga classes and they kept me relaxed and sane during a difficult pregnancy. After having my little boy I couldn't wait to get back one of Heather's classes. Her baby massage class is fab- social and fun for mummy and baby.

Heather’s yoga classes are super relaxed but also leave me feeling like I have done a good workout/stretch in all the places necessary when pregnant! I went to her classes for my first pregnancy, then for baby yoga too and am now back again during my second pregnancy. The post-natal/baby yoga class was especially good for getting back into shape, especially as I had diastasis, so I got some tips to help ease this gradually. I highly recommend Heather and her classes! :-)

I joined Heathers wed night class in January 2021 and I really enjoy it. Everyone in the class is very friendly and welcoming and I feel great mentally and physically after it ❤️ Heather is really lovely and easy to follow for a novice like me ☺️ Would recommend 100% x

I have been at Heather’s yoga classes since I was 19 weeks pregnant and I am now 37 weeks. I love having my Tuesday time for myself and my bump. She is helping us to relax, preparing for labour, empowering and sharing a lot of knowledge. Not mentioning how funny she is! Thank you Heather :)

I've been attending Heather's Ashtanga classes in Edinburgh for 8 months now, and I can't remember how could I live before without them. The class is relaxed, but energetic at the same time with a really nice group of people turning up every week. I warmly recommend Heather and Ashtanga Yoga is for you if you don't like to sit around meditating much. ❤ Namaste 🙏

Have attended Heather's baby massage and mum and baby yoga classes. Great classes for getting out, interacting with your baby, socialising with other mums and getting a workout (yoga). I wasn't sure how my baby would get on but there have been smiles and laughs most days. Highly recommend.

I've loved both the pregnancy yoga and now post-natal yoga with Heather. It's not just about the yoga but a great class with lovely other mums (to-be). Always found the yoga routines to be pitched at a good level.

Absolutely love going to Heather’s classes. I always come away feeling that I have worked hard. Heather is very hands on, gives adjustments, which I like ,so you know if your not in the correct position she will always help you. She is very encouraging and you always have a little giggle as she makes class fun too

Heathers class was my first experience of Ashtanga yoga in Our World Yoga on a Wednesday evening. I was fairly new to yoga classes and thought id give it a go. Have now been going for probably 6 months now nearly every week ( except this winter as roads have been awful) and specially travel 60 miles there (as i live in the sticks) but its worth it...I. love it and look forward to it every week. Feels like I've been to the gym as heats you up from the inside out so you know you are proper working hard and feel great after you have been. If there is anyone with injuries she knows how to alter the asana so they are able to take part too, making sure they are careful not to hurt themselves. The class is very welcoming and if I've ever forgotten anything heather makes sure you have what you need. Amazing and knowledgeable lady that puts everyone at ease. :)

Heather is a fantastic yoga teacher. She is knowledgeable in her practice and so is able to support all of the students in her class. Classes are the right balance of taught practice, calm and fun.

Heather is a knowledgeable and experienced teacher which quickly develops your ability & understanding. Her classes are fun, challenging and satisfying. She builds your confidence & tailors to individual need. I also like her ability to bring the class together as a group.

I’m a performance coach/fitness trainer and I travel with the people I train. Quite often singers on tour. While my client was performing 2 nights at the SECC arena I used my time to advance my yoga practice. I do this all over the country. This is how I met Heather & hands down she is the best teacher I have met on my travels. I wish she lived close to me as I would love to continue to train & learn under her guidance & encouragement.

Wonderful classes that not only help with pregnancy symptoms but make you part of a lovely community of ladies.
Heathers classes take you right through from pregnancy, having your baby, and bonding with them in baby massage and mum and baby yoga.

I have been part of Heather's Ashtanga for beginners class for just over a year now, and am amazed at the progress I've made in such a short time - a testament to Heather's excellent teaching. Would highly recommend Heather's classes to everyone!

I have trained with Heather on a one on one basis and she is an amazing teacher who always took into consideration my mobility issues without making me feel as though I wasn’t trying hard enough, understanding and an inspiring young lady. Her knowledge and passion blows me away every time and I constantly rave about her to friends and clients.
