Reviews of Infinity Yoga

It's amazing to be a part of this community. Colette and the other teachers all offer very valuable and eclectic skills. Colette has also been amazing at supporting my progression in both Yoga and Pilate. I would highly recommend the Studio. :)

What a wonderful welcoming studio for all levels. You feel well taking care off, the teachers are very knowledgeable, especially Colette Forrest-Bosque. She leads you with lots of love, energy and passion through her classes and makes sure everyone feels safe and has a great experience. I highly recommend Infinity Yoga.

I’ve been practicing at Infinity Yoga since 2017, and I’ve never found a place that makes me feel at home like Infinity! The community and the teachers are supportive and welcoming for all students who arrive, and Colette has always gone above and beyond to make the studio everyone’s happy place for the 90 minutes you’re there. I can’t imagine being a part of any community after the love I’ve experience here x

Love Infinity Yoga! Wonderful teachers, beautiful space, and a great variety of classes that are perfect for any level.
Collette is very professional and knowledgeable, extremely welcoming and kind. Highly recommend this studio - perfect way to start or finish your day!

Colette has created a beautiful, safe space at Infinity Yoga! I’ve been a customer for years and thoroughly enjoyed the range of yoga classes on offer as well as one to one reformer Pilates sessions. Colette is a great teacher who helps you discover your capabilities in yoga/Pilates and I always have fun and a smile on my face whilst doing it!

I have known Colette, and the team at Infinity for many years. Firstly as a student, a mentor, a colleague, and also a friend. One of the most experienced and sentient souls in the yoga community! Masters of all, it’s my favourite space in Glasgow and deserves to be treated as such xx

I have been coming to Infinity Yoga for nearly 6 months now and I am loving it. Collette is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home in the studio. I highly recommend Infinity Yoga ❤️

I was gifted a yoga/pirates pass from a neighbour then I broke my humerus and basically had a long exercise break. Anyway I decided to book Sunday morning yoga after a week back in gym. I am so glad I did. This amazing studio literally 5 mins walk from my flat. The teacher (Colette) was excellent instructor and I was made to feel welcome by her and others in class. It was excellent first class as felt challenged in a good way but also relaxed and a good stretch as sadly I had neglected this also. I definitely will be back and think this is a excellent gift for anyone trying to get back to moving after lockdown or even new to yoga! Loved it and will be part of my new Sunday routine 💙

This place is amazing!! I live in the US and travel often for work. I love finding yoga studios in the different cities I end up in. Infinity Yoga is definitely at the top of my list of favorites of any city! I was able to take Hot Moksha with Colette and Hot 60 with Jamie and both classes were incredible. Colette and Jamie were both friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, and lighthearted. Their classes were a blast! The facilities are clean, modern, and beautiful. I will definitely be back any time I am in Glasgow!

I am so very lucky that this was the first yoga studio I ever tried. So I say Infinity is the best in Glasgow without others to compare it too. But then when you find a studio that welcomes you with such open arms from your very first class - why would you ever go elsewhere??
If your looking for a studio full of inspiring and knowledgeable teachers this is the place. You might just come every now and again or this place will become a home from home. A retreat full of like minded folk who will help you through those rubbish days and will relish your happiness too.
Each and every one of the teachers had something to teach you - sometimes that's just how epic it is to do a sun salutation at 7am to Prince other times it's mantras that will become part of your soul.
Basically come give this place a try - come in with an open attitude and infinity will help you 'get' yoga and what it really means.

Infinity is my haven, I can't recommend it enough, even though I do to anyone that asks. I have practiced yoga at several studios around Glasgow and in cities across the UK and overseas for going on 8 years now but this place is home, while every studio brings its own positives it is here that I find real peace. I remember clearly the first day I met Colette as a visiting teacher to studio in the West End, it was one of those days when practice shifts. The level of attention provided by all the teachers on the team is incredible and the timetable offers a variety of classes that ensures a holistic approach to your body with something for everyone. It is just a little place, so doesn't allow for the large class sizes found at other studios/ gyms but that ensures an in depth level of guidance tailored to those in the room and also means nowhere to hide when you are being lazy!! It's place where I have made good friends and find support and solid advice on all parts of life, but most of all we have fun and laugh a lot , no one takes themselves too seriously here and everyone is welcome. It doesn't matter who is teaching you will be well cared for, be worked to your own ability and have the best night sleep you have had in ages! Come!

The most welcoming, nurturing place I can imagine for anyone thinking about taking up Yoga. All the teachers are vastly experienced
but have a human touch that means even in a packed class you feel that you have their full attention. There are a variety of hot and unheated classes to try: all are testing, but there are options and variations given for poses that means no-one need feel excluded. Special shout out to Yin master James who can calmly guide a class through two hours of what seems like sitting still, but at the end you feel like a taller, calmer more pleasant version of yourself.

Infinity yoga is a fun, friendly, holistically nurturing environment, with educated, open, well aware teachers, who thankfully don’t take themselves to seriously, thus making me, and I’m sure many others, at ease. Becoming a mum a few years ago, I officially nominate Infinity as our second family. The love and support from staff and yogis, surpasses any other studio I’ve practiced in. My favourite place to be sweating ~ Humbly homely.
However I must admit, this was not my first impression of the studio. Having arrived, 2minutes late for my first 615pm class, I was met with a locked door and no one at reception. Slightly miffed at my time keeping, but even more so that I couldn’t get in, I messaged Colette and asked her why the door was locked . Her reply was short and sweet “you were late”. It was a straight to the point reply, to which I hold in great teaching admiration, in the encouraging way, it challenged me to look at me, ~“why are you turning up late and expecting to get in? The world doesn’t revolve around you ” I retrieved my aim inward. I returned very soon after, early this time, with the realisation that it’s not acceptable to arrive late for class. Lesson 1. As the years, and my practice evolved, “The burning desire “ to arrive 15minutes early, is now, imperative to my mindful practice. I have Infinity yoga to thank for this, and so much more. 🙏🤘🧘♀️🌕💕

I purchased an intro block and it was worth every penny. I booked into classes with 3 different teachers and found them all to be lovely, approachable and clear in giving instructions. Classes are very enjoyable and replaces. The studio, reception area and changing facilities are decorated and stylish and, if you message in to book a class, they’re quick to respond and book you in. Will definitely come back soon!

Colette and the whole Infinity team are the most loving, caring and expert yoga place in Glasgow (and the world as far at I’m concerned). They are mind over matter, love over anything else. Although it’s a group class, you feel the personalised care.
V. A.
Infinity yoga is in danger of believing itself to be a private club for teachers rather than a service for yogis.
I attend regularly and have found that classes start or end ~10 mins when the teachers feel ready, which is not helpful when sacrificing your lunch break to make it to class.
I have also arrived at the studio on a Sunday morning at 10.05 exactly to find the door locked in my face in spite of calling ahead and agreeing with James that he would hold the class 5 minutes.
I am not sure why the 5 mins of a 90 min class were of such burning importance to James on this occasion, but this discourtesy alone, given the fact that I made the effort to call in and sprinted to the studio through traffic and wasted time on buses to make it (1.5 hrs of my life I won’t get back!) deserve a 1 star review.
Such a shame to write this review given the great job other teachers do - Collette in particular - but it’s the bad experiences that define a business, sorry. And there is nothing worse than rudeness.
I would have hoped to be able to attend classes only with my preferred teachers - there are always people you connect with more - but you never know who is taking the classes and there is no online teacher timetable nor booking system - you have to call in and hope your name is put down. Another point where the business is not designed with the customer in mind.
I will not be renewing my membership following this episode. There are plenty of studios in Glasgow where you are treated like a valuable member.

A spiritual home that's vibe definetly attracts it's tribe 😉 I had never experienced yoga before finding this amazing little studio, but now it's hard to imagine my life with out it. It's not just about the yoga, though the classes here's are second to none, it's about the feeling of belonging that comes with being part of this studio. These are people that approach yoga with humour and humility, and you will not find teachers with this level of practice any where else in Glasgow. That is why it pains me to that's someone has not only written such a negative review, but but also openly slandered one the teachers. So this is a response to Victoria A, I'm sorry Victoria but you're review sounds more like a petulant child stamping her feet. Any one that practices yoga should be able to take responsibility for there own practice, and that means showing up on time not after the class has started demanding to get in. Also your comments about James Brown are simply, to put it more politely than I want to, simply not true. James is dedicated to the development of his students, as is the rest of the infinity team. So to anyone who takes the time to read this and is planning to practice yoga in Glasgow this is the studio for you 😉 and as for you Victoria A may be a home practice would suit you better then your poor attitude would be your own responsibility and not something the rest of us have to deal with.

The classes are excellent and I feel I always walk away feeling better than before I started practice and having learnt something new during the class.

There is much more to Hot Yoga than Bikram.“

I visit all Bikram Yoga Studios in Europe and write about it on my blog. Among other things, this: Sure, there are bigger and nicer studios than the small intimate Infinity Hot Yoga under a former railway viaduct. Colette Ward (picture) opened it three and a half years ago. She got to know many different types of yoga and was constantly evolving. She originally completed the teacher training at Bikram and still offers the official Bikram sequence once a week. But she gradually became more and more committed to absolute yoga and different variations and says today: "There is much more to Hot Yoga than Bikram."
You feel right at home in this place, which is individually, comfortably and homely designed. The floor of the hot room is made of real wood.
Above all, the welcome is warm.
Teaching this Friday morning is cheerful, upbeat Jamie, who completed his teacher training in absolut yoga in Thailand. When he greets the ten participating yogis, the greeting comes back loudly. He wears colorful shorts and does most of the exercises himself, which is unusual in hot yoga and probably very exhausting. It is a so-called moksha class - with many exercises from the original Bikram. There are more exercises, even more strenuous. I'm gradually getting used to the Scottish dialect and, despite the workout and the pouring sweat, I feel better and better. (see also hotyogablog dot net)
