Studio 70, my favourite place in Glasgow. The yoga teachers are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I joined 3 years ago and love every class I have attended, I like the flexibility the studio offers and a great variety of workshops. If you’re new to yoga a great place to start.

Studio70 is a very friendly and welcoming yoga studio. All of teachers are lovely and they always encourage you to do what’s right for your body at any given time. As well as different types of yoga there are Pilates classes. They also offer workshops. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I absolutely love Studio 70. It's such a nice, light and quiet space and there is always a delicious smell coming upstairs from the downstairs Bakery 47. Laura is an amazing yoga teacher, who teaches in a very playful way - this is not competitive yoga and I love that about her classes. I am currently going to 2 classes a week, Flow Yoga and Restorative Yoga, and I like the variety of yoga styles they offer. Michelle is also absolutely lovely - I am yet to try out her classes though. The studio also offers holistic massages by Hannah (The Aroma Room), which I can also only recommend. Last but not least I would like to point out that I am not local to the South side, but travel in from the West end - if nothing of the above mentioned should have convinced you, maybe this fun fact will :-)

Lovely bright, clean spacious yoga studio that support and empower students. I love going to Michelle and Laura's classes, I always leave feeling grounded, energised and cared for. I've been going since early 2019 and can't imagine practicing Yoga elsewhere. The online zoom classes have been amazing during lockdown and with restrictions easing it's so nice to be back practicing in such a welcoming environment.

What I love most about the Studio70 is the friendly and approachable staff who always make you feel welcome, are willing to help and answer your questions. The studio offers a variety of classes from static to dynamic which makes it easy to suit the practice to your needs. They accommodate for all levels of advancement. Class size is kept small and there always is enough room to move around which is a refreshing change from studios I practiced in before. The environment is calming and relaxing. By the end of my new student offer, I knew this was the place I wanted to practice yoga in and I have signed up for the unlimited monthly pass. I cannot recommend it enough!

Absolutely love studio 70! Excellent choice of classes and the teachers are all lovely and supportive. I’ve come back to yoga after a few years of not practicing and I find the classes really inclusive. Have already brought a few friends to the studio who all absolutely love it too! Would highly recommend all of the classes to anyone thinking about it.

I can't recommend Studio 70 enough. It's a beautiful, airy space to practice in with a great sense of community. The teachers are all so welcoming. They each have their own style of teaching and are more than happy to adapt to people's individual needs. There's a good variety of classes throughout the week which is great for trying something different. The free tea at the start of class is a lovely touch too!

Love this place. It's everything a yoga studio should be. Light, bright and airy with a lovely comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Both Michelle and Laura are excellent teachers, each time I'm in I come away feeling de-stressed and completely relaxed. I started going to Studio 70 recently, as a complete beginner, and can’t rate the classes and the instructors highly enough. Even as a beginner you are made to feel welcome and comfortable from get go. The classes are attended by a lovely mix of folk with varying levels of ability and the benefits of the classes can clearly be felt after just a few classes. Mats can be rented for £1 per class if you don’t have your own and there is always fruit tea on tap 😊Would highly recommend!

I've been attending Studio 70 as an absolute beginner since late 2017, mostly at Michelle Lang's classes. I'd highly recommend the beginners class to those of a similar level who're keen to try yoga for the first time. I ended up doing it twice as I enjoyed it so much! I've recently moved on to Level 1 Flow classes and have found the tuition to be perfectly paced for someone like me who is still very much a learner. The well-lit studio is a calming environment to practise yoga in. Give it a go, southside yogis!

The varied classes means that the studio caters for all abilities, the teachers are both welcoming and very knowledgeable. The emphasis is not only on your physical practice but your emotional well being which is what makes Studio 70 so unique and has had a hugely positive influence on me. What a wonderful studio!

The studio is clean and bright with lots of space. The teachers are friendly and approachable and each have their own style. It's a nice, welcoming place to come after work. It really suits because I can drop in when I need it and there are classes to suit my ability (which is very beginner!). I think the price point is very reasonable - plus they always have free tea available which is really nice. I'd recommend it - welcoming, relaxing and good value. Really glad there is a place like this on the South Side.

Studio 70 is a lovely peaceful space to take part in your preferred yoga practise. There are lots of classes available to suit individual needs and abilities. I have been attending Michelle's classes for some time and can't imagine my week without my 2 visits to the studio. I absolutely love Studio 70! I started going because I wanted to be fitter and stronger but I didn’t realise the great effect it would have on my mental health. I walk in to the studio feeling stressed and walk out feeling amazing. I usually go to Laura or Michelle’s flow classes which are sure to work up a sweat but there’s always time for some meditation at the end. Both Laura and Michelle are fantastic teachers, there’s no pressure to be perfect, but more to enjoy yourself and your yoga practice. Not so much an exercise class as it is time to build strength, take stock on your body and mind and relax.

I was going through a stressful time, and looking for a form of exercise that would benefit my all-round wellbeing, and yoga was ideal. I was a bit nervous getting back to it after having tried it many years ago, but Laura is a fantastic teacher, who really puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable – essential for all forms of exercise teaching, but particularly one which is so entwined with mental wellbeing. Although I’ve only been coming to Studio 70 for a few weeks I already feel a huge benefit, feeling physically better and mentally more content. I can’t wait to learn more under Laura’s thoughtful and educational instruction.

I did the six weeks beginner course with Laura, which was great and gave me the knowledge and confidence to start going to the Flow level 1 classes. I really love these classes and i’ve learnt so much - I do sometimes feel like there’s a bit of a jump between the beginner class and the level of the Flow classes though, so if Studio 70 were to run a follow-on course that covered some of the poses and types of movement not covered in the beginner class and bridged the level gap to the Flow 1 class, i’d definitely sign up for it. All in all, a really lovely studio.

Coming to Studio 70 for yoga is one of the best parts of my week. All of the teachers I have come across are so nice and it's a lovely place to practice. I am not an expert yogi but I don't feel judged if I can't do a pose or for not having all the gear.

Signed up for beginner classes and was a little worried when I started that I would be total rubbish. The instructors are so kind and understanding and I could really feel a big difference after only a few weeks. The lavander eye pillows are also great! Highly recommended.

Being fairly new to yoga, it’s helpful to be given different options for poses, which all the teachers do. There’s no pressure to be other than where I’m at.

I have the unlimited monthly subscription, which is fantastic value for money and I get plenty of use out of it as there are so many classes available. The space is always clean and warm, with scented oils and fresh herbal tea, I just love being there.
