Beautiful spiritual retreat centre in Licolnshire

Beautiful old building with period features inside. The interior looks authentic with wooden panels and staircase.
Our twin room was very small and a little dated in decoration however it was clean and functional.
There was a lift however the building is from the 1800`s so may not be as accessible as newer hotels if you have difficulties mobilising.
Breakfast was first class with a picturesque dinning room overlooking the gardens.
Staff were generally friendly and helpful. There were also nice views and a short walk to the rear of the building.

What a beautiful place. The hall and grounds are grand. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The rooms were spacious with a very comfortable bed. Views are lovely. The food was very good and the choice at breakfast was superb. Would definitely be going again.
We also used the adjoining Spa.
H. V.
The room was aged. Mattress was not pleasant and it was quite soft. Getting to my room was so difficult and I had to get back to reception and ask for help. The room was literally outside the main building. Water pressure for shower wasn’t strong enough. Breakfast was so basic and nothing particular.

Absolutely wonderful in every way. Very pleasant staff. Beautiful, clean room with excellent facilities. Breakfast was informal, cosy and incredibly tasty.
We're even considering it as a possible wedding venue for 2020.

Great staff, really friendly, cannot do enough for you. Room is a little small and facilities in the room basic for the price paid. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are nice, but there is no cold water facilities when you come out the sauna. The shower there shows blue, but is scalding hot. The grounds are nice, and you must walk to the lake to see the black swans.

We stayed at Branston Hall for five nights and used it as a base for exploring Lincolnshire. What a beautiful and peaceful setting. This stately manor dates to 1735 and is set on 88 acres with a large grassy area, ponds, and fields to wander. We had a suite overlooking the ponds. It was so relaxing. This is a 3-star hotel, so not overly fancy, and it's a good value. Beautiful pool with sauna and nearby day spa.

Two day break in lovely stately home hotel. Warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff, cosy bar / lounge area with open fire and more formal morning room for reading, afternoon tea etc. Bedroom was huge, well appointed in period style enhancing the feeling of being somewhere special.
Dinner was excellent, good menu and well cooked and presented. Breakfast was fabulous, choice from hot and cold buffet + a la carte options.
Simpson's Spa (in the grounds but a stand alone business) was excellent and good value for money. Informal grounds were nice for a stroll, Lincoln was 10 minutes by car and £10 in a cab.
Great place to stay if visiting the lovely city of Lincoln, would definitely return.

Very nice place, we had one of the larger rooms but was a little dated and needed some TLC. The SPA is in another building of the hotel and is a couple of minutes walk. The breakfast was fresh and nice. We decided not to eat at the hotel as the menu was limted

beautiful building with stunning grounds, very relaxing, staff are welcoming and very professional, lovely spa area which includes pool, jacuzzi and sauna. great for weddings and special occasions.

Visited for our 45 anniversary.hotel lovely, rooms spacious and very clean with all facilities including a huge bed sooo comfy. restaurant, bar and lounge extremely nice. Food is to die for. All staff were so pleasant and helpful, nothing to much trouble. We will return.

Fantastic staff, very attentive and helpful. Very dated decor, not in keep with the age of the house. Lots of history on the outside of the house but lost indoors. Lovely lake and grounds to walk around. Very tasty food, lots of choice on the menu also for vegetarians.
O. O. (.
a very good getaway here and I was not disappointed. Can not fault the breakfast. Its right on point. The surroundings of the hotel is king for me. If you love vegetation, lakes, walking along green paths, this is the place for you. I really love watching the sunset as I have my dinner because of the position (if I could say that) of the restaurant.Love it
J. M.
Lovely hotel set in superb grounds with lakeside walks. Service from staff also very good.Village of Branston pretty too.
A.
Nice building, good restaurant, slightly let down by tired looking rooms. Amazed planning permission was granted for two newer buildings on either side of the house! Keep it original and beautiful for as long as possible!
B. D.
Awesome ambience and great staff, nature at its best. Make sure to take a walk on the beautiful grounds, especially to the lake.

A lovely peaceful location, only a few miles to the city. We parked in Lincoln Central Car Park £7-80 as we stayed over four hours. The Hall looks like it has some lovely walks but due to the weather we didn't explore. The pool area is nice the mural surrounding it beautiful. Our room 217 had a lovely view and was clean and comfortable. The only negative point we would make is about the restaurant. The buffet style English breakfast was not enjoyable, there were some items you could have freshly cooked like kippers or porridge. The evening menu was somewhat disappointing too.

Originally came for a weekend away and loved it. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff, great facilities, fabulous food andeasy to relax. Ended up having my wedding here!

Fifth visit. Says it all. Very relaxed old country hall.
Staff so friendly , rooms well appointed in keeping with building. Grounds spacious for a stroll round. Will return again.
P. H.
This lovely hotel offers great food and hospitality and if the weather allows, some wonderful evening walks in its private grounds.
E. S.
I love love love this place. so peaceful and quiet. there's a walk around the lake that could do with being cut back but I don't think that will happen any time soon since the hall went bankrupt and the spa doesn't deal with that. Lovely place for a quick picnic or dog walking
J. R.
Fantastic hotel, great friendly staff, a genuine lovely experience would definitely come again.
M. D.
Very enjoyable and very pleasant surroundings lovely staff
D. L.
Great place to stay and has very friendly staff!!
C. M.
Lovely historic setting with authentic features. Food was nice but not a huge choice. Been 3 times in the last couple of years and every time there has been a problem with either the pool, sauna or Jacuzzi, or all three. This really spoils the experience as a lot of people go expecting to use these facilities. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are rather outdated and tired! Grounds are breathtaking!
T. W.
We had afternoon tea. Staff were lovely and very polite. Gluten free sandwiches weren't quite up to their usual standard. Think bread had been frozen as it was very cold and a bit dry but otherwise a very enjoyable visit.
G. B.
A fantastic place to stay, set in beautiful grounds. Spacious, well equipped bedrooms, spotlessly clean with huge comfy beds. The food is exceptional, service great the staff are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Gluten & lactose intolerant, vegan and veggies are more than welcome and catered for. Full vegan menu. Lovely place - we will return.
M. G.
Was booked in for afternoon tea .scones dry but otherwise lovely

Brought Mum in law for 90th birthday. Thank you to Angela for ordering the lovely flowers for her room and for our rooms being next to one another, on the first floor. All staff professional, friendly and helpful. Food good. Views lovely, despite weather. Mum in law enjoyed overnight stay. We would visit again. Once again Thank you

The drive up to this hotel, and the exterior was a treat...beautiful autumnal colours of the trees and a tidy grounds. We weren't that imoressed with the welcome from the Receptionist (Saturday afternoon). She didn't have enough knowledge about the spa facilities and didn't appear to be very helpful about finding out for us either. On entering our bedroom it we found it was cold.....No radiator on in November when it was only 4 degrees outside! It soon warmed up though when we turned the radiator on. We felt the bedroom we stayed could do with a bit of updating and it somehow lacked character, which is a shame as the building itself oozes character. We felt the same about the pink bar too...in need of a rethink decor and soft furnishing wise. Nice deep bath in the ensuite, and decent shower. The room was clean. So we went into dinner with low expectations, only to be delightfully surprised by a great dinner menu, timely service and very well presented and cooked food.... lots of gold stars to the chefs and waiting staff. We were mainly served by Wendy on her first night working in the hotel. She was brilliant! Breakfast was good and again excellent service from the waiting staff. The receptionist on Sunday morning was friendly, and interested, sorted our bill out quickly. I definitely would recommend but don't expect luxurious and elegant decor.
A. N.
Enjoyed a coffee and soup lunch here with a friend. The staff were clearly preparing for a wedding event but we're polite and, although there were a few delays, served us efficiently. Lovely grounds and extremely comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The house itself was beautiful and the staff had a warming fire going soon after we arrived which was very pleasant. Would definitely return and recommend for a coffee and lunch followed by a walk.
S. M.
I had a luxury room. Bed was very comfy and room clean. The bath is massive. Had food once which was nice though it does not come cheap. The only fault is it was very warm in the room and i couldn't open the windows plus there is too much light coming through the curtains and in summer that can very a early wake up call indeed.
M. F.
Beautiful hotel had a lovely Christmas break. Bedroom spotlessly clean decor a little dated however everything to hand including bathrobes and some toiletries. Staff treat you like a friend so accommodating and polite superb service by everyone. Beautiful Christmas tree and it was wonderful sitting Infront of the large real fire true feeling of Christmas. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The Franklin's 😀

Lovely hotel in a beautiful building. Included breakfast and dinner where fantastic.
Had the pool/jacuzzi/spa to ourselves as it was quiet, not sure how busy these are throughout the year.
Unfortunately the room didn't have functioning hot water, dissapointing but we were given a free room upgrade.
k.
Highly recommend Sunday Lunch! Excellent value, professional and friendly staff, high quality food.
D. H.
Great experience in most respects, fab welcome, lovely meal, not cheap but worth the money. Grounds and hotel impressive. Lovely breakfast too. Room a wee bit poky, and the 4 poster was a bit silly, just the frame with no tester or curtains. Mattress rather lumpy. Otherwise recommended.
V.
We stayed the night before a funeral, everyone was so friendly and helpful, the food, we had dinner and breakfast, was excellent and we had a lovely room overlooking the lake. The food was also excellent at the funeral meal afterwards. The staff did not know we were attending a funeral so all the kindness was genuine.
j. s.
Very nice, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, got a bit too warm in the room we stayed in and the shower was just about adequate, but with little flow and difficult to control. The only other thing was some of the other guests, in a wedding party, were a bit noisy late into the night, not helped by arriving back at the room at about 4 am and knocking something heavy into the floor in the room above... But didn't spoil the stay...
S. M.
Lovely countryside, very helpful staff. Not all rooms are special, and don't have the very tiny room over the front door, apart from it being to hot,no room, shower tiny. It is alongside porchway way so when it rains,it is very noisy! Window very hard to open as it has a cupboards in front of the window sill, can't have opened anyway when it rains. We where given this when the hotel was not full, and we booked sometime earlier.
P. T. (.
Booked dinner for 630, wrote us down for 745, got sat at 715. Food was excellent, although I wished to order extra sides for the main after I had placed my order but was refused as the main was about to come out, yes told I couldnt order any, but cant fault the quality of the food or the staff at all.
Room was ok, had an adjoining door so could hear everything from the other guests, including heavy snoring from 4am, would advise requesting a room without this feature.
J. T.
Came here for a meal with my partner. We had a fantastic night. We were able to wait in the lounge area until our meal was almost ready before moving to a spacious dining room with candlelit tables. The food was excellent and the waiting staff were perfectly polite without being intrusive. Reservations are a must.
V. G.
We had two nights stay and we're really pleased with our stay. We had a Groupon which included two course dinner, the food and service were very good, sitting by the log fire while choosing what we would like from the menu was a very nice touch. Our room was quite small but very clean and well kept. Will definitely be returning.
P. M.
Popped in for a nice hot Latte as I had been out for a drive in my Bedford MW. Wasn't sure about how full the car park was so took advantage of the nice firm grass, the excellent 1940's cross country capability and parked next to car before the Hall main entrance. As always, gorgeous place, staff well dressed and very helpful and cheerful. Ordered a Latte - milky coffee - a favourite and took up residence in front of the huge log fire. Lots of guests checking in and out and people enjoying the restaurant which, although I did not on this occasion, I can recommend. Lovely country house hotel, just outside Lincoln. 1940' truck friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit, even just for tea or coffee

Stay here for my boyfriends birthday weekend, the staff were lovely. Food was amazing. Room was perfect, had a lovely bath and comfortable bed. Room service was lovely, Didnt get to go in the pool but looked amazing. Although we was younger than most the still treated up the same. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

My husband and I have just spent 2 nights at Branston Hall hotel. The Hall is a lovely place to stay, gracious, but cosy at the same time. Our room with its four poster bed was well appointed and comfortable. The pool and sauna was very relaxing and pleasant. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both days and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had an enjoyable visit to Lincoln which is about a 10 minute drive away. We will definitely be making a return visit.
M. D.
I have stayed at Branston Hall on a few occasions. It can be quite hit and miss on the standard of the rooms. Some can be very nice, spacious and clean. On my last visit it was the opposite. The meals are good. The breakfast is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a pool within the hotel and a spa in another building further down the drive. Lincoln city centre is a short drive away. A taxi is the best option. All in all the hotel is a little pricey unless you get it on a deal. I now stay in the centre itself. More convenient with plenty of choice.
T. W.
Fantastic experience having afternoon tea at Branston Hall Hotel. Professional waiters/waiteresses. Fantastic value for money. The only downside was the parking. If there is a wedding on at the hotel they close the main car park wish limits any spaces. Would defo recommend
G. C.
Nice oldie worldwide hotel nice and quiet. Good rooms well equipped. Spa smallish but nice. Staff very able and pleasant. Lake side a little overgrown at present but still accessible and nice to walk round. Food very nice and good choices.
L. D. (.
This is a lovely place in lovely grounds. I was disappointed that our upgraded room did not have a 4 poster bed as we were lead to believe when upgrading. Also the bathroom let it down, it was like a bathroom in an old terrace that needed ripping out and renewing.
N. c.
Well this hotel is a step back into proper old fashioned service and style. Staff can't do enough for you and it's simply a beautiful building in lovely surroundings. 5 stars isn't enough.
J. L.
Took the family for my wife's birthday. Lovely afternoon tea, nice selection of cakes and sandwiched. Staff were a little disorganised but was pleasant enough. The place was alittle tired and could do with a refurb but overall a nice place to go for lunch/afternoon tea
D. T.
Very popular hotel with lovely lounge and fresh, not overly landscaped land.
Always enjoy coffee, light lunch and afternoon tea here.
Restaurant is good too.
Staff always friendly and helpful.
G. W.
Rooms are waaaaaay to hot! All the guests in our party had the same complaint; the room was overwhelmingly warm. Had they not provided a small fan I would not have slept at all! The grounds are lovely and the staff were excellent bit the rooms aren't very nice and are super hot like I mentioned.
M. O.
Had a lovely night here. Bedroom small and quirky, it was under the eaves. Bit hot but an open window solved it. Staff pleasingly friendly. I was a lone guest. Greeted using my name at breakfast not room number.
If I must find fault, bedroom decor tired but very clean.
C. t.
Beautiful hotel lovely location. Excellent food. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and re visit again.
D. C.
We had afternoon tea in the beautiful setting of the one of the halls lounges with a gorgeous view of the water and gardens. My only criticism would be that you have to choose one sandwich filling each and other afternoon teas I've been to they bring you out a selection. It was a lovely afternoon!
M. K.
I stayed in the hotel last night whilst visiting my aunt in the area. I stayed with my cousin and we had a lovely evening. The log fire was welcome on a cold November night; we had our drink before dinner by the fire. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the service friendly and attentive. I plan to stay here again soon. Thank you

My husband and I stayed at Branston Hall Lincoln on a Groupon deal from March 1st to the 3rd 2018.it was in the middle of the worst March weather in living memory and alot of guests were having to extend their stay as they couldn't get home due to the snow.staff at the hotel showed dedication as they were staying over to ensure that the hotel was always fully staffed.
The staff were awesome!!
Couldn't fault any of them.nothing was too much trouble.they were attentive yet not smothering and fake.
They remembered our favourite tipple
When taking our drinks orders too !!!!
There was a Dunkirk spirit due to the snow and when speaking to Sophie on reception she had stayed over too and said that the staff were all happy there and were like a family ....and yes that did show.
Our room was lovely.clean (thank you Sarah)and spacious and had everything we needed.
The food was absolutely amazing.both restaurant and bar food.could not fault it.
Didn't see the grounds due to the snow but would love to return in summer to take advantage of the grounds too.
The spa...yes it's dated as in not ultra modern but there's a Jacuzzi and a small pool and small sauna.they're all clean and working and we used them every day of our stay.robes and towels are in your room.very relaxing.we were warm and relaxed and oblivious to the atrocious weather conditions outside!!perfect.
Ronni was particularly helpful and Stephen too but all the staff need a massive pat on the back.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return ourselves.
Thank you Branston Hall Lincoln.
It made our 32nd wedding anniversary extremely special.well done everyone.
A. B.
2 Night stay with dinner on the first night. Beautiful mansion, lovely room ,helpful and attentive staff, dinner was excellent and breakfasts their equal. Enjoyed our visit to Lincoln for shopping which was improved by having Branston Hall to return to
j.
Came for afternoon tea. Lovely looking place and friendly staff. Large group of us shared a room. We felt the sandwich bread was a tiny bit stale?
Also we only had one type of sandwich on each stand so would have been nice to mix them up so everyone got the same.
Also there wasnt enough scones to go around so some had to half theirs.
The cream i don't think was clotted. If it was it was of a very poor quality as was the jam. For £30 a head we would of expected clotted cream atleast.
J. H.
The hotel is an old and large country house.. A little tired in places but on the whole a beautiful building. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food was fantastic. We'd return without hesitation.
A. G.
Branston Hall was an amazing venue that hosted a close friend's wedding. The grounds are perfect for a short stroll and the location is bliss. Staff are more than welcoming and the food was amazing. I would whole heartedly recommend this as a beautiful place to host such an occasion.
B. B.
Fantastic location in lovely grounds. Met family there for lunch, however, at 1300, they had run out of chicken, and as I don't really eat red meat, was disappointed. For a restaurant to have only 10 portions of each meat on offer, it is extremely poor. There was no alternative offered. As a result, I didn't stay for lunch. This restaurant is usually very good, however on this occasion I was disappointed.
C. S.
There is a lot of History to this Hotel. Rooms are nice and bright. Very good food and the staff are very nice. Lovely walk around the lake. Well worth a visit.
I. B.
A traditional country house hotel in a great location not far from Lincoln. The staff are all pleasant and helpful and the food was terrific. The rooms were full of character. We would definitely stay there again.
A. E.
A great historic hall to walk round, or stay in (it's a hotel)
C. H.
Amazing Location and venue, superb rooms, staff and food
J. M.
Very nice place to go for a weekend spa break, good for adults only in my opinion. The food is fantastic and the prices are well very reasonable. Very friendly staff. So what are you waiting for? Book your reservation now.
H. H.
My husband and I were here for the Xmas break, and even from the first day, we'd decided that we will definitely be back again.
Wonderful place, inside and out, couldn't fault a thing. The staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and all went above and beyond to make you feel at home.
The food was devine, from the eloquent restaurant dinners to the satisfying sandwiches.
We didnt know what to expect for our 1st ever Christmas away, and its safe to say that we had a brilliant time. The little extras made all the difference, from the competitions to the activities, we were made to feel very well taken care of.
So a big thank you to the Branston Hall team for an unforgettable Christmas, you will definitely see us again.
A. G.
Great hotel, great food and great ambience. Staff really helpful and friendly. Lovely grounds to walk in. Spa facilities located in the grounds (separate booking) but nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna in the hotel. Adequately equipped gym too.
B.
Stayed here a few times even though we live local.
One time was for a wedding reception. Very nice facilities and friendly staff. It's not always been the most consistent place (enjoyed the stay better than other times).
Decent food and nice estate. Good place to relax and take your mind off things.
It's a few miles out from Lincoln city centre but we'll worth it over something like the Premier inn.
Would recommend and have enjoyed it multiple times.
S. B.
Beautiful building, grounds and amenities. We had a lovely stay, the staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!
D. R.
Afternoon tea in a lovely old hotel. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bit dissapointed that we were asked what individual sandwiches we wanted as i personally was hoping for a selection of sandwiches. Delicious scone with jam and cream and a selection of cakes.
I. H.
Lovely hotel, good staff. Food if delicious. Service is a tad slow but not to the point of frustration. Definitely recommend
E. G.
Had a lovely experience of dip and dine the whole thing was great, well worth visiting

We had a fantastic 3rd wedding anniversary stay. Our two night stay was absolutely faultless, relaxing and cracking good value thanks to the Groupon deal. Branston Hall is an impressive looking place on the outside and equally impressive on the inside, all wood and character. The receptionists greeted us warmly as we booked in. We had upgraded the room so we had a four-poster bed, large corner bath and a superb view out over the grounds. Parts of the room were tired and there were signs of wear and tear but not enough to detract from the overall charm. Our evening meal was in the Riverside restaurant, located behind the lounge. The setting, service and food were all excellent. My starter of Lentil and ham soup was lovely and full of flavour and my main of Fillet steak was perfect. Happily full we relaxed in the lounge and enjoyed the surroundings. After a quiet comfortable nights sleep in our four-poster we headed down to breakfast. Choosing not to pick any of the tasty options from the menu, such as poached eggs and smoked salmon or kippers we opted to sample the buffet. All the usual suspects were present, scrambled eggs, sausages, mushrooms, beans and toast and filled a hole very satisfactorily.
Once our breakfast had digested we used the gym, it's not Gold's gym but you can do a very basic circuit train and hit the cardio. After the fitness suite we went for a swim. What a great pool, sauna and steam room. Luckily when we used it we had it all to ourselves.
Our lunch was at the very stately bar, soup and sandwiches were the order of the day and were surprisingly good value.
After an afternoon spent enjoying the lovely Lincoln ( There's the cathedral, castle, Magna Carta and plenty of tea shops serving wonderful cake to occupy you.) We returned to Branston Hall. There had been an afternoon wedding at the Hall. After a nightcap in the lounge we retired to our room for the evening. There was the very faint thump of bass from the wedding reception, the distant sound of laughter and chatter and a few doors closing noisily but all in all the wedding guests did appear to be considerate to the other guests whilst having a good time.
What a happy stay we had, The service was exemplary as was the food and location. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly, professional and made our stay the great success it was....
r. h.
Wonderful hotel quite peaceful relaxing and not far from Lincoln
E. H.
Our stay was very good, caring staff, good food, lovely grounds, only one minor quibble though the carpark was full and we had to park quite a distance from the hotel on a muddy verge, and in the dimly illuminated lighting I slipped and ended up on my knees, all the rain had made things like a mud bath
D. W.
Nice location, lovely atmospheric hotel with history but for the price of the room for one night left a lot to be desired, room not as expected and cleanliness in bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. This was our first visit and was hoping for it to be more of a luxurious experience for out anniversary but left a bit disappointed.
V.
Lovely place with warm and welcoming staff. Plan to get married here next year, couldn't be happier with the location and the place looks amazing. The afternoon tea is excellent and I recommend it.
Z. S.
Fantastic hotel made magical with lovely room, lovely hotel setting, caring staff and amazing food. This hotel will become part of our annual pre-christmas trip. Thank you for a lovely stay.
R. &. J. H.
I have been coming here for many years now for an annual get together. It is not the most modern place but that is its charm. The service is excellent and the food is good value for money. Recommended if you're not looking for that corporate image.
p. z.
Steeped in history Lincoln is a great place to visit. Cathedral, castle, avation history or just shopping we have lots to offer. Branston Hall is a great place to stay, we got married here 19 years ago and although it's down the road we stay overnight on the anniversary. Prices are reasonable for a hotel, staff are friendly and food is tasty. View from rear of hotel over fields and countryside are nice and there is a boutique spa on site too. Enjoy
o.
Christmas party - food was lovely, music was great. Only 2 things were service not the quickest and drinks very expensive. But overall great night would do it again.
T. H.
The hotel itself was beautiful. The standard of food served at a work Christmas function we attended there was excellent. The staff there also seemed to be friendly and helpful.
E. J.
Returning for our first wedding anniversary after marriage there the staff remembered us. I think that's good! Lovely hotel and fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
S. L.
Beautiful hotel, they don't make them like this anymore. recently redecorated, excellent breakfast and facilities. we will be staying again.
m.
Ourdated, food was expensive for a very average plate. The room was clean and well equipped however the bathroom and the quality of the shower let the whole thing down
i. g.
Hall style hotel fitness center inlarge grounds.house andcourt yard rooms witch was small but en suit all extras provided.3 types of rooms in main house.pool.fitness center good riverside walks. Good breakfast evening meals in bar or restaurant.good views.near lincoln.

It was a great experience, lovely grounds. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely accommodating, id booked the wrong kind of room and they changed my room for me.
P. B.
We spent two very comfortable days at Branston Hall. The staff were some of the most helpful and friendly people we have met.
We would recommend this Hotel and hope to return.
T. S.
Wonderful food and very friendly, professional staff. The function room and grounds were very well-maintaned. Overall, I have nothing but praise.
W. H.
Beautiful building set in peaceful area with minimal light pollution. Really friendly staff who have made holding a wedding here so easy and have plenty of suggestions if you need them.
d. w.
Spent the day in the simpsons spa, had an amazing time it's really clean and a beautiful setting and the staff are all really friendly. Had afternoon tea in the hotel afterwards.really nice but you only get one choice of sandwich
P. M.
Attended for a function during the day. Reasonably nice overall, some areas of the hotel look a little tired. Staff are friendly and attentive.
J. G.
A lovely Country House Hotel in lovely gronds and even though it rained all the time the staff were great and bog open fires. Food good and rooms comfy.a very pleasant stay
E. M. E.
Fabulous hotel and restaurant. Brilliant facilities and staff always willing to help. Visited with someone with a food allergy which was accommodated willingly by catering staff.
S. R.
Visited when friends stayed. They were in a courtyard room. Very nicely decorated and quiet location. Room was quite small but perfect for a couple of nights stay.
M. E.
Had a lovely afternoon tea with pimms but sadly later I received a phone call from the hotel saying I had not given in my payment voucher and we had had pimms and we had left without paying ,I was then asked if I could take the voucher to the hotel tomorrow morning ! The afternoon tea voucher with pimms was purchased last November and nobody asked me for it I did ha
ve it in my bag . I live 15 miles away and I'm at work so I offered to post it , the caller then put me on hold and came back and said could I post it first class tomorrow. A shame this happened .
L. F.
Amazing staff. Great service and food. Room a little cold and tired. But overall superb. Will be back.
B. C.
Lovely Hall and grounds for a relaxing break. The staff are polite, friendly and did everything they could to make our stay memorable.
D. B.
One of our fondest travel memories!
We stayed here whie in the midst of an international house move. The courteous and efficient staff, the lovely furnishings, and the comfortable and generously sized rooms provided a welcome sanctuary during this stressful time. The grounds were lovely and wonderfuly peaceful.
Especially remarkable, we were traveling with two small childeren and this most welcoming and detail-oriented sstaff anticipated our every need.
I've mp dpibt we were outside their target demo but throughout the property we and our daughters were treated as most valued guests. Matthew is correct about how this property stands out against its competition. We've given Branston Hall our highest recommendation to friends and co-workers.
A. M. B.
You'll be welcomed by a wonderful historic building with high ceilings and wood paneling, and beautiful smiles by the reception staff
Walking around the extensive grounds after a hearty breakfast is the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning
I particularly enjoyed the cream tea in the lovely garden, the sauna & Jacuzzi and chatting in the drawing rooms with luxury sofas & high ceilings
Friendly and cheerful staff
The breakfast is a little pricey, but very good quality and so, well worth it
My only complaints would be we weren't allowed to sit in a bay window to enjoy our breakfasts, and too many tables had reserved notices on them
To sum up, great value for money and to truly enjoy a real English experience, I'd recommend Branston Hall Hotel 👍🏨
A. H.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast selection. Rooms are classically decorated, bed a bit hard for my liking but still a very nice hotel

Stayed for 3 days with my husband and it was perfect. The hotel is gorgeous, still original features. We loved it.
J. L.
A great building but the service is lacking, limited choice of quality drinks, poor wine, the room amenities were poor, no iron or ironing board, the bathroom looked like bob the builder fitted it and a shower that was shorter than 6ft height, really wasn't worth the money paid and definitely wouldnt consider staying again, best thing was the gardens and surrounding land
L. W.

hosted our wedding 💒 reception on May 2nd 2015 - all our wedding party had a fantastic day - Kim and I returned on May 2nd 2016 for our "paper" anniversary - we had even more quality time together to take in everything properly and once again were totally delighted with this place - used the gym and pool 🏊 facilities followed by a delicious 3 course dinner for two in the Lakeside Restaurant 🍴very impressed with the best chocolate 🍫 and orange cheesecake on the 🌍 planet!! 👏👌
