Reviews of Bikram Yoga Canary Wharf

I would recommend anyone to the Bikram Yoga as it has helped and improve and mange my condition assessing the tolerance of movement as the heat avoiding further injury.
Excellent and profession instructor with guidance through the journey of improving the quality of life reaching are goals all the way up.
Instructors insured helped were I had difficulty sometime to maintain self confidence were I have had surgeries and injures insuring the safety off all of the students at all time.
Thank you all I have Loved the challenging lesson keep up excellent work see you soon.

I started attending Bikram Yoga in January this year. I had been suffering from some minor health issues and concerns which had led to me not exercising or feeling great. I have been attending 3 classes a week and in this short space of time I have certainly felt the health benefits. Overall, my health concerns have improved, my skin is clearing, my body is showing some physical changes and my sleep is definitely improving.
The classes are challenging but you feel amazing afterwards and the instructors are very skilful. I have been attending Samantha's classes in Canary Wharf - she is brilliant. I have also been attending Max's candle lit classes which are so relaxing.
These classes will really get you working up a sweat and you can certainly feel the purge and negativity expelling from you.
I've finally found an exercise that I enjoy. Ignore the negative comments, the studio and staff are amazing.

I highly recommend Bikram yoga to anyone who is suffering from stress, anxiety, depression , PCOS, imbalance hormance and any kind of health issues. I have joined Bikram yoga since 2012 on and off but I have been practising regularly since June 2021 and it has made a big impact on my health. The staffs are very and supportive as always. Jay is a wonderful human being and very approachable you can talk to him easily regarding any issues. Your health is your wealth

Totally addicted to BYL Canary Wharf. The professionalism of the teachers makes the experience quite unique!!

Good teachers, but the facilities are definitely overdue an update.

I am very greatfull for the amazing teachers.
And they input.
The practice is helping me on many levels.
Love the heat too!!!
However I' am going to rate this studio only 3 stars due to the poor smell. Wet floors &
No water fountain.
As well as overcrowding in the changing rooms.
The London Bridge studio it's also bit overcrowded but feels cleaner.
However if you can do off -peak classes your practice will be much more enjoyable.
( that's my experience at the London Bridge studio)
And you won't have to wait to use the showers.

I have had my first bikram yoga session today. I was very pleased with the staff how she welcome and set me up on system, it was very quick and professional. The teacher was great, very clear and motivational. The changing room and shower was ok but small and not enough area for drying hair specially when it's busy however everything was clean. I loved the session and highly recommend it.

Overall Great Experience. It can be a bit crowded and there is not much space to stretch for the exercises that you are required to do. The carpets look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages and the changes rooms were also quiet small. The only reason this deserved 4* was because if the instructors who were really good, namely Divya who really puts you through a workout. If your after a proper Yoga session, go for Divya’s class!

After completing the intro offer (£40 for 20 days), I decided to join properly and do the 30-day Challenge (hot yoga every day for 30 days in a row!). Felt great to put yoga/health as a priority, and the challenge was the perfect way to form a habit of going regularly - since the challenge ended, I've attended 5 days per week. Overall, friendly staff, great teachers and convenient location. Thanks guys! :O))

An excellent first time Bikram yoga experience. I was sweating more than I've ever sweat in my life and yet somehow felt perfectly comfortable about it because of the instructor's light hearted jokes.
The studio is spotless as are the showering facilities/changing rooms - no lingering sweat smells :p
Afterwards I felt elated and thoroughly cleansed, if you're thinking of giving Bikram a try I'd recommend Bikram Yoga London wholeheartedly!

I am a weekend member and OMG , the new teacher this Sunday 😱 in Wharf was amazing!!! My favorite is Martin but this beautiful Indian teacher might just be my second favorite. I did the 12pm class and her energy was amazing. Plus you can see that she really cares witch is a big plus. You can practice for years and do one position in a wrong way and then someone like her comes into your life and fix everything. We need people like that in the class. Who doesn’t give up on you and cares. Thank you!
I will check her name and will attend to her class again for sure!

I've been part of the Bikram Yoga London community in Canary Wharf for a few years and it's truly been an incredible journey for me from the first day; mentally, emotionally and of course physically. Since joining the studio, the yoga timetable has evolved, offering more than the mainstream Bikram yoga practice. This affords members the opportunity to try out different forms of the yoga practice at no additional cost. Yin yoga, vinyasa flow, inferno pilates and jivamukti are to name a few that I started to incorporate into my routine and they are amazing! These forms of yoga have allowed me to go even deeper within and to step out of my comfort zone. The yoga teachers are brilliant all round, well-trained and well-informed. Their unique styles of teaching offers variety to members, which also creates an environment that is dynamic, refreshing and diverse. This studio is highly recommended!

I love this studio. The teachers are lovey and they are really knowledgable. Great atmosphere with other students. I've been going on and off for a year or so now. Showers and lockers are good too.
Do the challenge, you will feel and look the best you have In a long time.

My first Bikram Yoga experience was so wonderful and I feel that way because of the amazing teachers here.
People are so friendly and kind, it feels like you’ve a family in here.

Let me begin by saying that Teachers are pretty good and the student atmosphere is great and uplifting but I cannot believe they have a carpet inside the studio! This is the most unhygienic way to practice ! I expected wooden floors or something that can be cleaned after every class. The carpets are wet and smelly and have hairs !!!! This made me dissapointed. Only 2 bathrooms are available and changing rooms are crowded and very small. Customer service could be a bit more yoga like and not so forced. Overall good except for that carpet !

Went as an intro deal which is good value if you have time off. This, like the London Bridge one have communal showers so something to bear in mind if you're shy. I actually just got over it after my first time. They also make you rent or bring mats which I find quite disturbing as no other place I know does that, normally you just clean your mat. Class wise Andy and any of the flow or vinyasa classes were the best. Bikram series are long and kind of boring doing the same steps over and over with no link between the moves. One class was like a bizarre HIIT type session of moves where the teacher shouted through a headset. The classes are also designed so the advanced students go at the front and the teachers just call out instructions rather than you following them, which is something to bear in mind.

I have been a regular at the studio now for about 4 years. I have been to other studio's in London as well as abroad in the US. Canary Wharf, is a fantastic studio in comparison to many and getting it right on many levels. It's always seeking to improve it's staff and customer service which I see has been commented on before but the studio, is clean a good size, fantastic heat system. There are some fancy studios that are lovely but then the teachers and strength of students isn't great. This studio is much better than some of ones I visited in the US.

Excellent studio and excellent teachers and also the guys on reception who do a really good job. I have been going to BY Canary Wharf for over 2 years and could not imagine going anywhere else. I really enjoy it when the class is busy as you get a great energy. I especially love it when the teacher gives u that extra bit of encouragement when they can see you are making progress. Have met a great bunch of people at Canary Wharf. And not forgetting the guys on reception who do a really good job.

I have been going to BYL at Canary Wharf on and off for over 4 years now and find it to be one of the best yoga studios, certainly in London. Having started Bikram Yoga while living in Singapore, I found in BYL the same level of discipline and commitment to the yoga practice than back East. From the quality of the teachers, the varied schedule to the spotless facilities, BYL cannot be faulted. The management and staff are super friendly and approachable for advice and will do whatever they can to accommodate needs and requests. The 90-minute bikram practices are taught at an excellent level, yet providing guidance to first-timers and experienced yogis alike. The teachers have each their style but all follow the necessary bikram discipline to the letter. This consistency in teaching is important and what ultimately gets one the benefits and results one aspires to. I'd highly recommend any of the practices, though Martha, Lottie and Sangeeta are my personal favourites, but I'd also recommend the weekend candle-lit practice which although usually busy is quite a unique experience.

I constantly visit their studios whenever I'm in London. Great atmosphere and teachers are A1 esp Divya who is new. Her energy is unbelievable. Customer service vastly improved from what it used to be. The new asian guy at the counter is very helpful and polite. You need to open another studio somewhere as it is getting crowded.

As a member over 1 year practising 3 - 5 times a week my health and wellbeing massively improved. My body and mind started to get connected and result was a self realization. healthier body, very nice feeling especially after class :), inner mental strenght, self awareness, living in a present , contentment and gratefulness for everything I have in my life. The heat helps with a flexibility and the sweat is one of the most healthiest way of releasing anything in the body and mind not needed anymore . I say Yoga makes nice body and mind too :).

Inferno hot pilates class was intense! Welcoming and kind staff at reception. Remember to take your mat and towel or pay to hire. Reception area could do with some fragrance but overall great experience!

Been going here a while surprised to see so many complainers perhaps concentrate on the positions, breathing and yoga and less on everything else. This place has got rid of my muscle ache, when I go over 4 times a week I feel great and fit. I also lose weight which is difficult for me. The tutors are lovely with different personalities so never gets boring. If running, gym etc does not work for u try Bickram. This is definitely the best exercise membership I've had When I look at results. Good thing is it not just physique u feel good from the inside too.

I was always happy with the teachers and classes in this school. This is definitely a strong side of the studio. Recently I faced some admin issues, but I am happy to say that we managed to resolve them and I am happy to attend the classes again. Thank you!

I've joined Bikram Yoga as I wanted to take advantage of the introductory offer (20 days for £40), thinking I would go for just those 20 days. Didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I do, so I'm going for my 2nd month now.
J. W.
Many of the same lovely teachers as their London Bridge location and always clean, welcoming and friendly. The heat is amazing. Great place for beginners.

I like Bikram Yoga studio ! The staff and teachers are amazing!!! Now I fill better than before. I improved my wellness and spirit.. Thanks every body who works in this studio!!!

By far the best yoga studio in London I have ever been to. Excellent teachers and a motivating atmosphere. Can't recommend enough.
B. B.
The entire team are top notch and the facilities are busy but your fellow "yogis" respect each other in my experience. I have practiced in the London Bridge and Soho chains, but the karma here is the best for me. Highly recommended if you want to develop your technique and learn to manage to "meditate in silence" as is posted everywhere.
BY is for those who want to challenge themselves, and relax from hard-paced existences, to my way of thinking. Training at BYL is a place you can do that.

It is the first time that I truly felt "yoga atmosphere" and highly knowledgeable staff. I tried different classes and all of them were interesting and with outstanding teachers
k. m.
Fantastic teachers. Still learning and fine tuning my practice after almost 3 years. They could do better by sticking to 40 degrees heat 40 humidity though in my view.
E. G.
Friendly, welcoming vibe with a pure hot yoga ethic. Smaller than their other studio but top notch instruction in an excellent location.
T. T.
Great service but they really ought to rebrand themselves and drop the name of Bikram.it is now common knowledge that Bikram is the Weinstein of the yoga world. Yuck
E. K.
Great studio, good selection of yoga classes:)
