Julia is an incredible yoga teacher. I was doing gym yoga classes before I met her but have never looked back - she works in small groups so she can give each student her attention. The way she understands bodies and the tiny adjustments she makes are priceless! I feel so lucky to be taught by her, and now that she is teaching online classes it's even easier to practice with her - a definite silver lining to the lockdown cloud...

Over the past 18 months Julia has helped me enormously in my recovery from breast cancer. She adapted each session to how I was feeling and introduced me to the wonders of restorative yoga. She gently encouraged me with different ways to help me cope and and deal with the effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and was so intuitive in coming up with an alternative option if my body wasn't able to cope with the standard pose. Like all good teachers Julia always makes our sessions fun and it's been a joy working with her.

Julia Moore is a wonderful teacher, tailoring every exercise to each student's capabilities and situation, with quiet care and intuition. Hers was the first yoga class I went to and her teaching remains a (very high) benchmark five years later.

I went to Julia's yoga classes for some time and later did aYoga for Healthy Lower backs course, and some additional somatics work. She is an amazing teacher, the most creative, patient, and specific I have known. She always adapts the work to the individual and whether it is a group class or one-to-one, makes you feel that anything is possible, because she makes it so inclusive whatever the level or ability one has. Highly recommended.

Enrolling on the Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs course, taught by Julia Moore, has been one of the best decisions of my life. I'm nearly 11 weeks into the 12 week course and, as someone who has had near-daily back pain for the last 8 years, due to a prolapsed disc and sciatica, I can honestly say that I have had little to no pain most days for the last several weeks. Julia is a patient, supportive and adaptable teacher who guides you through all the exercises whilst carefully working out what the best approach for you, personally, is for each and every one of them. This is very important as, of course, we are all unique.
With the book and CD that accompany the course you are well and truly set up for continuing your Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs practice for life way beyond the 12 weeks. If you do the home practice regularly this course can be an absolute life-changer as indeed it has been for me. It enables you to take control of your pain and to retrain your posture so that, over time, you can become free of the pain that you may have thought would be your burden forever.
The first time I went to see my osteopath, since starting this course, she jumped for joy at seeing my new-found posture and said "I'm over the moon". Maybe an osteopath's loss but this course will absolutely be your own personal gain if you fully commit to it.

Julia is a great Somatics/yoga practitioner who has the depth of knowledge to work with every injury and problem I have presented her with!
I highly recommend her classes, and also her one to one sessions for specific work.

After my divine 82 year old Pilates teacher stopped teaching, I despaired at finding someone I loved the classes, as much ... well, I've found her in Julia - I'm not sure I should be collapsing the 2 disciplines, but I love stretching and strengthening and have found it in both teachers ... so that'll do for me!!!
