Jules' Hatha classes are fantastic. Jules is incredibly knowledgeable and takes care in explaining each pose so that you can safely and confidently practice them at home. The classes are a perfect mixture of challenging and strengthening poses, and restorative guided relaxation. Each lesson plan is carefully and thoughtfully considered - really showing Jules' passion for yoga. If you're looking for a class to come away from feeling like you've worked on both your mind and body then this is the one for you!

I had very little previous experience when I signed up for the six week introductory course about 8 months ago and have continued with Jules’ ‘organic’ yoga class every week ever since. Jules pays very close attention to the abilities and needs of every person in the (virtual) class and I feel I am benefitting enormously in both body and mind. I’ve still got a long way to go but I will enjoy the journey!

I started yoga to regain some of my flexibility, balance, and strength and I was extremely lucky to find Jules. She explains each move brilliantly so even now as we are having our sessions online, I feel confident I know that what I'm doing is right and safe. Just the best class! I have learnt a lot from Jules and she gives so much in terms of information and assistance that I have been able to achieve poses that were way beyond me before (at least that's what I thought!). Jules is always ready and able to assist or make adjustments to suit your level. Every class pushes me a little further, but I always feel safe and happy with my own level of progress. I love the on-line morning sessions - sets me up for the day! Strongly recommend.

Jules is a great yoga teacher with a down to earth and light hearted approach. Her classes offer variety and most importantly expert guidance. If you are brand new to yoga, she breaks everything down and offers adjustments so you'll achieve more than you thought possible. If you're more experienced, the guidance reminds you of all the micro adjustments to make the asana even better or more challenging! Combine that with breathing practices and accessible meditation, you come away from classes feeling both relaxed and recharged in body and mind.
Now classes are online I've attended even more, and really notice a difference in my strength and flexibility. So pleased Jules moved to online teaching, one of the few benefits of 2020!

I was worried about starting yoga at first, as I am hypermobile and seriously prone to joint dislocations. But after speking with Jules I was confident enough to give it a go. I've noticed a huge difference in how my body feels and haven't had any major dislocations since starting yoga with Jules. I know that's all down to her teaching/guidance. She is very quick to correct postures and give tips on how I can stop my joints from extending into their full range. Because of this I am now able to control what my body does. Also, as a student taking her classes has helped to reduce my stress levels enormously. I can not recommend Jules enough- she is such a wonderful teacher and I look forward to continuing my yoga journey with her!

Jules Yoga is the best yoga class I have ever been to. I am a beginner in yoga & Jules breaks down each posture into small, manageable steps so everyone from beginners to more advanced students can enjoy & manage the benefits yoga gives. Jules adds a great element of fun to the class too & we always have a bit of a giggle to balance out the hard work we are doing! Our class is very friendly & that makes a huge difference to my enjoyment of the session. Oh - & I forgot to mention I haven't had to see my regular osteopath for over a year since I started the yoga so the benefits have been huge for me. I can highly recommend Jules & i'm so glad I gave it a try 😊

I joined Jules Yoga as recommended by my cousin. I’m really enjoying every minute and doing it over the internet has only made it more accessible for me. I am now able to do a shoulder stand and a few seconds in crow position which I would never have thought possible! Jules is an excellent teacher, ensuring everyone is safe and providing different levels within each posture to suit us all. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Four years on I’m still finding Jules’ Yin and Hatha Yoga classes truly restorative. Her teaching method isn’t competitive so there’s time to learn postures precisely and in a way that suits your body best. Every couple of weeks there’s a different focus, e.g. abs, glutes, breathing to keep things interesting and now I use the yoga learnt at her classes every day. She’s such a passionate and generous teacher. I really love her classes.

Jules is a fab yoga teacher who really cares about her yogis and makes the classes diverse and fun. As the only pregnant student in the class at the moment, Jules has gone the extra mile to adapt the postures to suit me and even brings in a special cushion for me! You aren't treated as 'just another student, she helps everyone individually so they get the most out of the classes. I would highly recommend to people of any ability.

I started going to Jules' yoga sessions in Sydenham because of some back pain, and 18 months later things have really got better. In fact, I don't even go because of my back any more - I go because Jules' sessions are so much fun! She's super enthusiastic, cares about all her students, and is just as much a friend as a teacher. Chocolate yoga, beach yoga, office yoga, Christmas yoga - she's always coming up with new ideas to make sure we have a laugh while stretching into our asanas! Perfect for beginners like I was.

I've been attending JulesYoga classes since Autumn 2016. Yoga is a key part of my training as a freediver, and Jules' systematic teaching has led to significantly increased flexibility and relaxation which has really benefited me. The classes are very friendly and relaxed but Jules' still places great emphasis on correct posture through all the asanas and provides individual attention to make sure I get them right. Jules' personality, and the friendliness of the other students makes the class one of the highlights of my week.
