This space has been a refugee for me for many years when living in the city. Its serene atmosphere and tranquility, has been soothing and helped me during difficult times. The food and drinks (Tibetan tea is HIGHLY recommended, worth the wait!) are great and the energy of this place makes you feel like you're entering another dimension. This is a beautiful place and I'm grateful to everyone making it what it is.

A recent AGM for RE Council brought me here. Beautiful and serene. An oasis in the city. Would love to return for a cuppa in the cafe.

I had a bad mood and kept losing sleep for a long time. Nightmare always came and visit me with horrible scenes. I decided to find a place, like here, even only 30 mins, magic power of Buddhism bring me back to peace and firm.

What a wonderful place. We are doing 2 online courses currently and they are both excellent. We have also completed other online teachings which were brilliant. Lama Zangmo is very special and has helped us tremendously on our meditation path over the past year. She has completely changed our lives in the most positive way. Joelle and Simon have been incredibly helpful and everyone has been friendly and welcoming right from the start. I couldn’t recommend this Tibetan Buddhist centre highly enough, it really is the best and we will look no further on our meditation journey. So happy to have joined such a lovely community which offers so much 😄

Tibetan Buddhist temple near a local garden and easy to access from London Bridge train station. The temple offers different courses, dharma talk, and also has a library and a coffee shop. The coffee shop is vegan, harm free and offers teas, cakes and meals like Currys etc. They also sell spiritual books and other useful items for your practice and devotion. The shrine rooms are colourful and beautiful. A loving and peaceful place. Pay a visit to the temple and learn more about meditation, you don't have to be a Buddhist to attend the temple.

I read this post by another review and thought nothing is more apt:
Beautiful place - lovely staff - interesting classes. Very highly recommend !!
Even if you arent bhuddist or interested in the classes, just drop by for tea and cake ! Great little tea shop.

A stunning Tibetan Buddhist Centre with two gorgeous traditionally decorated shrine rooms, a library and most importantly, a lovely tea shop visitors can use! The setting inside the old municipal library makes it even more charming. Needless to say, authentic meditation and Buddhist teaching courses are held weekly and the community is friendly and helpful to a beginner.

Absolutely beautiful and deeply spiritual! The Buddhist shrines are overpowering in their aesthetic appeal and deep sense of love and compassion that you sense being there in person. Well worth spending time in mediation, even if you are not a Buddhist!

Simply an amazing and beautiful place to visit.
Wonderful people in a wonderful building.

The cafe is a lovely space and the chai tea is delicious.
We will return soon and as often as possible.

This place is amazing. The most beautiful Tibetan meditation centre I've been to since I was in Nepal and India. They have a wonderful tea room, and the meditation and workshop spaces are really great. Very happy to have discovered this.

Calm and quiet is the order of the day here, a great place to learn, reflect, or just hang out in the tea room and enjoy the surroundings and the occasional interesting conversation. People can drop in anytime and have a nose around, I recommend you do!

Warm and welcoming. If nothing else, visit the tea shop. Their homemade chai tea (only available at weekend) is definitely worth the trip. The shrine room upstairs is airy and beautiful.

This centre is open to everybody.
I saw someone put they had been asked to leave because they were not Buddhist, which is a totally ridiculous allegation. I can't think why anyone would want to create a slur against a place like this that does not make a profit, where everyone who runs the place is a volunteer and who's sole function is to give a place of peace to the community. Long may it continue to do so

This is a broad-church centre in the middle of South Bank. Several function rooms where services, meditation, and very pleasant tea-room. Also library and sitting room. Look at the photos, for examples of what's going on here

This is an amazing place where you'll find not just monks practicing buddhism but all sort of trainings such as yoga and meditation etc, a lovely cafeteria and a wide selection of buddhist books in the library. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place where to unwind and relax

I'm not a Buddhist not a believer neither, but lived in the area for years, I'm very familiar with the Kagyu Samye Dzong London Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre and the tea room has the best coffee, the nun (female for monks) is an extremely welcoming person, her advice has been so inspiring, never have I heard anyone saying "compassion and other rubbish" in the same sentence at least not in the center....
