Amazing teacher training! Highly recommend James as a teacher who knows the necessary details about human body and every yoga Asana. I qualified in April 2021 and I'm working exclusively as a yoga teacher! The skills you'll learn will stay with you even if you decide not to pursue the career. I returned last night from teachers tune up retreat held in Portugal and this experience gave me a beautiful boost of energy to continue on this path despite COVID-19 times.
Lots of love and light,
Ewelina ❤️

The online training was very useful for me, it helped me to get a better understanding of Yoga in its whole. The teachers are sérious, Intelligent, open minded, they share a lot in their teachings. The teacher"s retreat gave me confidence in my own practice with a mix of serious, fun, grounding and émotion. It has been almost one year that i spend lots of time with Path of Yoga to study and practice and my path of life has considérably changed because of this amazing team. Thank you all for this beautiful work that you are offering. I want à 300h with you 🧡🙏

Because of covid restrictions I studied Path of Yoga's online 200h YTT rather than in person. Finally I had a chance to go to their live Teacher tune up retreat which was held for a week in Portugal. You don't have to want to be a Yoga teacher, but if you ever thought of deepening your knowledge of yoga, then don't wait and go for it. Experience which will open a new and another outlook on life. James and the Path of Yoga team have been amazing with their knowledge and approach. I only wish I had done this course earlier.

Choosing to do the 200 hour Yoga accreditation course with Path Of Yoga has been one of the best decisions of my life. It has opened me up to the world of Yoga in a way I have never experienced before. The online learning course is user friendly and easily accessible. The course develops your teaching skills to a high standard and I did not expect to learn so much in such a short space of time. The Yoga course content is very well organised, easy to follow and very thorough from beginning to end. The depth of knowledge includes anatomy, Yoga sessions and posture clinic workshops which are a great learning tool for new teachers. I feel like I am fully equipped to enter the Yoga teaching world with confidence. The weekly Zoom calls gives you an opportunity to connect not only with your teachers but with students from all over the world, providing a truly dynamic and supportive environment to learn and achieve Yoga teaching dreams together. If you are looking to become a Yoga teacher I cannot recommend this course more.

I have had experience of training both online (200 hour YTT) and in-person (Teachers Tune Up retreat) with Path of Yoga. I highly recommend Path of Yoga. The content is very transformative and the practices really help to get a deeper understanding of Yoga on a spiritual and physiological level. James is extremely knowledgable and passionate in his teachings. James and the Path of Yoga family are always there to guide and support you, on and off the mat. I did a lot of research to choose the right school to train with and am so pleased I discovered Path of Yoga to begin my journey as a yoga teacher.

What to say about my 200 hour teaching training with Path of Yoga...It was everything. I learnt so much and changed so much. The environment of love and caring they created, allowed me to fully let go into the process. The teaching received is in depth, but taught with so much passion that it's inspiring to learn and not overwhelming. Our teacher's knowledge was outstanding and each possessed an extraordinary way to convey it to us.
I left with so much confidence, that I was teaching paid classes with in 2 weeks. I can't wait to continue my yoga teacher journey knowing I have the support of Path of Yoga.

I completed my training on 2018 with Path of Yoga and it was one of the most amazing and life changing experiences I've had the opportunity to experience.
The knowledge and experience the teachers brought to our TTC was exceptional and I feel very blessed and grateful to have been part of it.
I can’t recommend this course enough, the venue is beautiful and peaceful in north India, we had practise and meditation everyday, with beautiful friendships made and sooooo much knowledge gained.
Also so much love in the room at all times.
I now teach classes in London, I'm organising a retreat next year and my whole lifestyle has changed thanks to Path of Yoga.

Attending this training was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I searched for months for the ideal program for me (in all corners of the world) and I couldn't be happier that I chose this one. Not only are the instructors incredibly knowledgeable and proficient, they are kind, open-hearted, fun, and do all things with love. They truly live what they teach and it's inspiring to be around. The course is structured incredibly well, instilling confidence in you from day 1, which increases every day as you learn more and more. I would never have believed I'd feel comfortable teaching a class immediately after completing a YTT, but I do and I'm excited to do so!! If you are looking for a truly transformational and educational month then Path of Yoga is for you. I am endlessly grateful.

Did the Path of yoga 200 hour teacher training in Thailand in 2018. It was well worth the time and money. The teachers (James, Amritha & Emily) have a lot of knowledge and know how to teach. The place was well picked and the schedule and food perfectly organized to give us students the right environment to prepare for the tests and to become a well trained yoga teacher.
I would recommend this training to anyone who is interested in getting to know more about yoga and it's backgrounds or who wants to become a professional yoga teacher.

I did my first Yoga Teacher training with Path of Yoga back in 2017
these 4 weeks have been the most transformational months I have ever experienced !
the authenticity and guidance I experienced blew my mind next to the incredible knowledge which was offered to us.
the both teachers complement each other so nicely as they have really different strengths to offer.
over all I can not picture a better start into teaching yoga, growing as a person and nourishing your body and soul !!

The most incredible and transformational month. This training and the amazing teachers give you the space and knowledge and encouragement to question and understand yourself. So much more than just a yoga teacher training, and a brilliant one at that! You will leave with the confidence and skills to teach a interesting and safe yoga class. I did my 200hr training in October 2018 at Maladhara in Chiang Mai, Thailand. A beautiful setting with amazing vegan food to top off the whole experience. I have been teaching and working as a yoga teacher since the week after I qualified. I also returned to assist the training in October 2019 and had an amazing journey supporting other students through the course. I hope to return again in the future! Big thanks to all the teachers who have been a part of my journey with Path of Yoga ❤️

Although I was already an experienced yoga teacher when I joined this TTC I have still learned a ton during the course! It was also very refreshing to hear a new perspective on some of the concepts I already knew. Anatomy classes were really awesome and well presented to help maximize knowledge retention. Personal transformation part of the course was well integrated in the overall curriculum and helped us work on some of our personal challenges. The course was very intense and packed with practice and teachings but was also a lot of fun! Highly recommended!

It was the best decision to pick this teacher training out of the many out there. Authentic, loving teachers who pour their heart into every single day. I liked that you get lots of opportunities to practice your teaching skills along with a good mix of interesting lectures. We had the most amazing month with Path of Yoga and I want to go back every single day. Cant recommend it more!

Deeply transformative and empowering—I have waited two months to write this review, mostly because I’ve been engaged in additional teacher trainings following Path of Yoga, but also because I wanted to give this review the proper care and attention it deserves. In two months of integration of the teachings following the training, I’ve scribbled countless thoughts and ideas about how I would write this review—many too specific to the content and flow of the program (serendipity and a process of unfolding are essential to the experience of Path of Yoga); thus, I will maintain this review at a high level, but I would be happy to answer any questions for you privately via direct message.
I’ll start off by saying that I’m on the spectrum, which has very much been an integral part of my identity for years, even though I’ve never told 99% of the people I’ve met. I was terrified to attend a training in such an intimate environment with strangers, and so I initially canceled. About two weeks to go before training, I felt compelled to attend and grabbed the last spot. The decision to attend Path of Yoga will forever remain as a turning point in my life, a milestone to which I will refer even decades from now. I can only offer you my own journey as evidence of why you should attend. Over 27 days, I went from feeling physically ill from social anxiety at the opening ceremony to teaching a 60-minute class and being asked to return in May 2020 to assist with teaching. Furthermore, I will begin teaching several classes a week in Rishikesh, India at the end of this month, and I feel that I have the knowledge and tools to do so.
The Path of Yoga teachings are deeply transformative, authentic, and all-encompassing; it is obvious that they flow from the teachers’ hearts. If you are more interested in learning to simply become a fitness instructor, this is not the program for you. If, however, you desire to journey deep within yourself, to ignite the fire of transformation, and to embody what yoga is for the benefit of yourself, your loved ones, and your future students, then take the plunge with Path of Yoga.
That’s not to say that the technical aspects of teaching yoga asana are devalued. On the contrary, you won’t find a better 200-hour course that collates the latest developments on teaching all aspects of asana, including alignment, cueing, and anatomy. I still come back to the alignment and cueing I learned from Path of Yoga.
This is an immense course with a level of thoughtful care and attention to detail that you will not find elsewhere amongst the endless parade of teacher trainings across the globe.

If you are looking for a quality 200-hr yoga teacher training, I highly recommend Path of Yoga! Their dedicated team of teachers really helped me progress within my own practice and become comfortable with teaching others. I had a great experience with them when I did my training in September 2019.

I attended Path of Yoga’s 200 hr training in Chiang Mai, Thailand in Oct. 2019.
This training is truly unlike most YTT’s - from the small class sizes (this is huge), the knowledge and accessibility of the teachers (also, HUGE), room for questions and discussion, the self-inquiry and introversion practices, the beautiful locations and amazing FOOD. There is nothing I don’t recommend about this training. You will come out with a very solid base of knowledge and lifelong teachers. I am very grateful I found this one.

I attended the 200hr teacher training in October 2019 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The teachers are professional, engaging, passionate, and knowledgeable. They make themselves available to their students at any time throughout the month and are invested in the success and well-being of every single student.
I learned so much more than just physical yoga during my time here (thought I learned plenty of that as well). This is a transformative month so be prepared to put some work in in order to get the most out of it. Not only has my self practice improved dramatically, I also truly feel prepared to teach.
The course is structured well and everything is very organized. The location, accommodations, food, and amenities were also excellent.
I highly recommend this course for anyone who is taking a look. Please feel free to DM me if you would like to speak further about my experience.I attended the 200hr teacher training in October 2019 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

I did my TTC back in 2017 and no Google review is going to do it justice; it was mind-blowing and life-changing in a way that I can't put into words. James and Rory are incredible. They are not just yoga instructors but teachers in the most meaningful sense of the world. My understanding and my appreciation for yoga - the philosophy as well as the asana side of it - has expanded exponentially. You will be in the safest hands. Signing up to this course was one of the best decisions i've ever made in my life - it has changed me forever! James connects you to yourself and encourages you to look within, while Rory helps you understand your connection to the whole universe. It's a beautiful, eye-opening combination I couldn't encourage more.

I attended Path of yogas 200 hour TT in October in Chiang Mai.
Everything with this course is truly amazing. Staying at Mala Dhara was a blessing. The food was so delicious EVERY meal :) The staff were so nice and friendly. We were blessed having James French, Susan Marrufo, Candy Alderson & Izzie Katya and with their authenticity we couldn’t have asked for better teachers. They meet our needs at all times. From having questions before signing up till today they are still delivering. They made everyone feel seen and got to know everyone of us.
The curriculum is as well perfectly planned and the knowledge they are able to share in a month would take others years.
All the asana classes was amazing and inspiring as well.
I am so glad I did choose Path of yoga. Thank you! 🙏
Namaste

This month with Path of Yoga actually changed my life. I mean, I'm still Pia, but the way I perceive myself and my environment radically changed. I learned so much about my body, teaching, the yogic philosophy and the way to live a happy and fulfilling life, it was the kick start of my spiritual journey. I can really recommend doing this course!!

What a month it was 💫
I am beyond proud of how far I have come. My 200hr YTT in Chiang Mai cannot be described accurately in words. It was probably the biggest period of growth I’ve ever experienced, and what a beautiful group of individuals from all over the world I got to share this with, students and teachers.
I cried a hell of a lot, and built relationships with people in 4 weeks and it feels like I’ve know them a lifetime. I gained SO much knowledge and wisdom, and not just about stretching on a mat. Path of Yoga runs an intense course - but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was pushed to my limits, challenged, and so incredibly supported. And the quality of my experience is so much higher than it could have been in another circumstance, all because of the passion and dedication James and his carefully selected teachers poured into the training. I’m so excited to get teaching!!
Yoga is so much more than what many perceive it to be, goes so much deeper. This is the best course to learn to teach, and the best month to deepen your own practice. It’s a mind, body, breath, soul connection that happens on & off the mat. After this month, I feel more free from myself than I ever have. I’m not perfect; I have a lot to work on. And that’s why I chose to show up on this course, for Me. And You should do it for You. You live once. Make it flipping count!! X

I recently had the pleasure of assisting on the Path of Yoga TTC in Chiangmai. I was so touched by the love, passion and deep care of Rory and Amy for the group and also the vast subject of yoga. They both hold space so well to create a container for deeply diving into asana, yogic philosophy, Ayurveda, anatomy, chanting, business tips and much more. It's a very holistic curriculum and Rory and Amy bring it completely to life with their knowledge, humour and deep commitment to spiritual practice. I highly recommend this course!

Very well organised teacher training; the teachers lovingly tailor the schedule to best meet the group's needs whilst covering all topics you'd expect on a YTT such as teaching practice with feedback, chakra explanations and practices, anatomy, breathwork, sequencing, yama & niyama philosophical discussions, yoga business plans etc.
This was my second 200 hours teacher training I've done but I learnt so much despite that and feel thoroughly grateful to have been on this training. I thoroughly recommend it!

I did my training in 2016 and it is not an understatement that James French has truly transformed my life for the better. Who would think that one person could equally make you laugh and cry yourself to sleep, and you would love him even more for it either way. To notice my vulnerabilities, foster humbling improvements with the body and the mind, and nurture my mind and soul to become stronger through adversities are all just bonuses in addition to receiving the most precise, clear, and informative yoga teacher training experience you will find. Likewise, Rory Trollen is a human fortune cookie. His advice, knowledge, quotes, and insight are word perfect and sincere. He wastes no breath, as everything that escapes his lips is sure to inspire you and make you think, laugh, or cry, and all with good intent. From a student’s perspective, memorizing a new language, adjusting pre-conceived physical asana habits, and testing on thousands of years of ancient history/philosophy in such a short amount of time can be stressful, but Rory’s humor constantly brings you back to reality and the present moment, helping you make it through it all and come out even stronger in the end. I was fortunate enough to have the amazing opportunity to complete a 200-hr YYT training in which both of these truly remarkable human beings were instructors on the course. In our email communication before the training even began, I felt welcomed and supported by Rory who made sure each student arrived safely and in peace. Rory immediately demonstrated his strong, confident, and knowledgeable character from the first day to the very last, and I felt safe and in good, trustworthy hands. Upon meeting James, on the other hand, his peaceful, observant nature at first made him out to be rather shy. However, I quickly discovered he is purely a lovely, gentle, affectionate, compassionate individual, whom I considered to be like a big brother throughout the training. Their two contrasting personalities balance each other out perfectly, creating a well-rounded, well-supported, comfortable, yet rewardingly challenging, experience. Both men are sensitive to each individuals’ physical level, inquiries, personal interests, desires, needs, concerns, and overall mental, physical, and emotional health, no matter your gender. These two are a yoga match made in heaven- or Samadhi, or the universe, or whatever higher power, if any, you choose to believe in, all beliefs and ideologies are welcomed and accepted. This non-religious, but certainly spiritual, journey is perfect for any intermediate to advanced yogi who either wants to receive expert training in order to successfully share the gift of yoga to others, or simply wants to deepen their physical practice and expand their consciousness. Whether your goal is to become an expert teacher, or to embark on a transformative, cleansing yoga retreat, either way you will leave feeling confident and recharged, ready to face whatever the universe has in store for you. It would be a pure honor to be in the presence of these two.

I attended the 200 hr YTT, in october 2019, chiang mai, thailand.
I highly recommend this course.
The teachers are professional and they are available for the students at anytime during the month, and they are always looking forward to give the best of the best.
I learned much more than I expected, in addition to the physical side, I learned to find, to understand, to love and to be myself, to love unconditionally, and not less in importance, I learned how to express myself.
In short, I growed quickly but not easily.
I truly feel the diffirance.

I have just completed the 200hr online teacher training course at Path of Yoga and what can I say other than it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. After practising occasional yoga for a few years, I had the strong desire to understand the true meaning of yoga and deepen my own practice. I wanted more than what I could get in a regular studio class but I was very nervous about doing a yoga teacher training for many reasons. First I was not sure I would ever want to teach yoga. Second, I thought that anyway I would have not been good enough. Third, having a family meant I couldn’t just leave them for a month to train somewhere. I am so grateful I found the Path of Yoga online training, followed my gut feeling and signed up overcoming all my initial self-doubts and excuses. Doing this course has really helped me with stress and anxiety and I have felt a shift in my own wellbeing. I am much more aware of my own sensations and of the surroundings and as a result, I am more peaceful within myself and with others as I am connecting more and more with my true-self. This course has been enlightening and exceeded all my expectations. I can not recommend it enough.
