I have just finished my 7th session with Heidi, and I have to say it has been a total revelation.
I am someone who has not done much exercise in my life so far, but into my 50s, my body last year told me clearly things needed to change. (Slipped neck disc, fall and ankle sprain, frozen shoulder etc etc etc!) so, I am trying to listen and make necessary changes.

I have just complete a course of six sessions on a 1:1 basis with Heidi. After three big babies in three years, diagnosed DR, and an ACL repair operation, I was really struggling with my mobility. After two sessions, I had my WOW moment; being able to walk downstairs properly instead of gingerly taking one step at a time. After six sessions, I feel so much stronger, mentally and physically. I had some one to one zoom sessions with Heidi during lockdown to work on my diastasis recti and to try and improve residual pelvic pain following two pregnancies in quick succession. She is so patient and understanding and didn’t stop working to personalise my tuition so it was appropriate for my very beginner and limited capabilities. I learnt a lot of techniques of how to be mindful of the practice in day to day life and I started to feel improvements in just six sessions although I still have a long way to go. I just wish I lived in London so I could continue with Heidi post lockdown face to face!

Since starting Pilates I have more awareness of my posture and breathing. Working with Heidi has really helped with my diastasis and I really helped to improve my core strength. Her YouTube videos are a great help so I can continue to work and practice my exercises on my own. She continues to challenge me and helped me to build my strength overall. I’m more aware of what to look out for with diastasis and what other activities I can safely do. Her mat classes on a Saturday are another great opportunity to continue to build strength. Heidi is EXCELLENT! I’m in my 3rd year with heidi and started seeing her just before having my second daughter at the end of 2017. Heidi’s experience shows in her ability to adapt to your personal needs and is so caring. She will always check in with you after a session to make sure everything is ok and if she can do anything to help. Following lockdown 4 weeks ago heidi still continued her sessions and every Monday without fail I log onto her online session and it’s a godsend. I’m stronger both physically and mentally and can’t believe how my core has recovered after having 2 babies! thanks heidi.

Heidi is amazing!! I came to Heidi at 31weeks pregnant in a lot of pain from SPD, hardly able to walk always with a limp and my pelvis felt like it was falling apart. Now 35weeks pregnant I’m still working and am so much more positive able my pregnancy and birth. The pain is a lot less and Heidi has given me the tools to prevent further damage from happening and healing and the damage there was through reformer Pilates. I can not thank her enough and with only 5 weeks till my birth I know I can get through this!
