Professional staff who know their stuff! Nothing not to like about them. It's expensive though if you want to go 3 times a week but a reasonable price for once a week. Parking around the area is easy especially if you park in Sainsbury's for up to 2 hours. The studio is decent and so is the equipment. The classes are small so excellent if you want more attention from the trainer, as they can really see if you're not doing an exercise correctly which saves unnecessary pain in the days to follow. They do have offers so this is a huge bonus and as I said I can not fault the staff/trainers, including the reception staff!

Amazing trainers especially Emma who tailor exercices even within a given level. Watch out when she says "and for more difficult you can add another string" she obvs means you can do it :) She makes sure she rotate exercice so that your whole body is being taken care of. Thanks Emma!

I've done reformer pilates with physios for over 10 years, so have been taught by many experienced instructors. I also have gone to a few lay reformer studios, so have experience of non physio instructors too.
I have been coming to this studio for 6 months. I bought a large bundle of classes because it made the classes much more affordable than other studios in London. Overall, the studio is quite cramped, dusty and the machines are fairly old, but the natural light is nice. The instructors are of wildly variable quality. Holly is the only instructor that I think is exceptional. I would recommended coming here just for her classes. Unfortunately she only takes classes on Thursday nights.
Emma D is also a good instructor. She always gives spring variations, and her work outs target the whole body. In my view though, she is not a traditional reformer pilates instructor and can sometimes go too fast.
Many of the other instructors do not instruct properly in my opinion - they do not assist people with positioning, check for injuries, offer alternatives for different skill levels, or go through the exercises slowly enough. You will often see members of the class doing the incorrect sequence without any correction.
I can only recommend Holly and Emma D’s classes.

I LOVE Pilates HQ! I love it so much that I actually look forward to taking the class earliest in the morning. Firstly, the studio is conveniently located on the high street only a short walk's distance from my house. I love that they offer classes early enough (7am) for me to take a class before work. The studio is always clean and I appreciate the smaller class size. I love the aesthetic of the studio; it makes you want to exercise but doesn't overwhelm you with too much stimulation. I really enjoy working with all of the instructors there. They are all friendly and knowledgeable and able to give constructive feedback on form, as well as provide beginner to advanced modifications. And I really appreciate the frequent class promotions that Pilates HQ runs in a year. Unfortunately, I cannot usually afford a full-priced membership, but I always try to take advantage of the promotions they offer. If I could afford it, I'd buy a year's membership!! Very grateful to Pilates HQ. Some suggestions of what would make the studio go even more above and beyond: 1. They have a great outdoor space that could be utilised more perhaps for socialising between clients or maybe the occasional outdoor warm-up/cool-down. 2. Maybe offering an herbal tea in the mornings. 3. Hand lotion in the toilet. 4. I wish they did events where clients could socialise and perhaps introduce friends and family to Pilates HQ.

Very nice studio. Only takes 9 people per class so even though it’s a group class, the instructors take a look at your form and posture and correct if you do something wrong. Each instructor has a different style (and different music playlists). I find them all really really good. Reformers are sturdy and looked after. Changing room is small but ok. Only annoying thing is that the bell is loud and rings often. If you are new to reformer classes, I'd recommend to start with beginners classes at least the first 2-3 weeks as you need to build up your core muscles before progressing.

I used to live in London near Pilates HQ. This was the best pilates experience I had in London because the instructors are highly knowledgeable and take time to correct your form. The studio is also bright, clean and well-kept. They limit the number of people in each class and are able to create a challenging workout. The only bad part about Pilates HQ is having to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to class, but there is a nice rooftop terrace they open the windows out to when the weather is nice.
