Reviews of Sadhana Yoga & Wellbeing Studio London (Clapham)

Buzzing to be coming back here since lockdown. Always leave feeling amazing and everyone who works here brings their own touch. Love Almania Bikram class on a Wednesday morning and recently done with Eugene who both have great energy and such good instructors. Also been doing James Yin class on a Sunday - which is again amazing and a nice guy. Couldn't recommend it enough and thats coming from a non-believer before trying haha.. Much love :)
W. G.
There are wonderful teachers. It's very hard to find the guidelines on such high level of performance 🤸🏼♀️💪🏻🔥 I think to come back. I miss them a lot 😟🧡
J. C.
The best community yoga and classes I have tried in London.
The gong bath is Amazing ! looking forward to going back live instead of using the handy lockdown streaming service. 5 stars

This studio is really wonderful. There is a variety of classes to suit all styles and levels. The place is always clean fresh and tidy. Great bunch of students, tutors and staff.
Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. For someone that was not into Yoga, I have now completed my 11th class in 2019.
Thanks to everyone for being so nice, welcoming and supportive.
C. S.
Love love love this place!! The instructors are so helpful and kind. The staff at reception are so friendly. The rooms are clean and don't smell funky like you get at some places that do Bikram and hot yoga. I'm loving the Vinyasa yoga here and each day the classes are different. There is definitely stuff to challenge any level of Yogi. It's such a peaceful environment. Would highly recommend!

This is my second time with Sadhana, the first being an introductory offer which was last Nov/Dec time. I've really enjoyed becoming a member this month. They offer an array of classes and instructors which can suit any style or mood of yoga, which is quite nice. Staff are friendly and accommodating. As I am now in the middle of my second trimester of pregnancy, it is a relief to know that I can still participate in classes and that instructors are willing to give modifications besides just telling me to stay in child's pose. Still enjoying Bikram while I can! Would definitely recommend to anyone at any level of their yoga journey.

After moving to London over a year a go I’ve been trying to find a yoga studio that works for me as I’ve found it! At Sadhana Yoga they have so many different classes, great instructors who are so friendly and are there to guide you whether you are a beginner or a pro! Great atmosphere and clean facilities! Couldn’t not sign up after my 7 day trial!

Dalston Venue
The venue is easy to find, with metered parking relatively close by and lots of public transport links. The facilities are excellent. Very high quality studios with excellent lighting and audio. Changing and shower rooms are clean, well tended and spacious. A ‘no shoe’ policy also lends a level of comfort to the environment.
Classes
I have attended 5 classes under 5 different teachers and all are very well taught. Class sizes vary as this branch of the school is still quite young but each teacher conducted the class in a conscientious and inclusive manner.
To say I am impressed is an understatement, I am looking forward to a long relationship with Sadhana Yoga.

This place is brilliant. I'm new to yoga and this seems a perfect place to start (although plenty of experienced yogis here too!!) - they have a fantastic intro offer - 30 days unlimited classes for £45. Their Bikram is great, and their Kula Sculpt and Dynamic Body classes are amazing work outs. All the teachers I've had so far have been absolutely excellent - really attentive and aware and helpful and encouraging. Not sure how expensive it'll be once my intro offer runs out - really hoping I can afford it!

I am fairly new to yoga, but have been to about 4 or 5 different venues in London over the summer. Sadhana is my absolute favourite so far! discovering Sadhana was a total accident ... I was walking back to the station from another studio when I happened to pass Sadhana. I was immediately struck by the vibrancy of the place. I signed up to a 7 day trial and I have been every single day ! I have had classes with 4 or 5 different teachers so far and they have all been wonderful, gentle and kind! (I especially enjoyed Bikram with Marylou!) I never thought I could do Bikram, but I have been 3 times in 4 days! The evening class was full to capacity, but I I felt the teacher was amazingly attentive to everyone and it was the best class so far. I am so happy to be embarking on my yoga journey... I have immediately felt immense benefits physically, mentally and emotionally. Sadhana is a warm environment with lovely energy, I would definitely recommend!

I have been a Kula member since they opened the studio. Since then I have improved my practice enormously. All their teachers are great, very knowledgeable and absolutely approachable. They are always available to answer any question with a smile. I have also attended a number of the workshops they have organized and they are great.
As well as the teachers the rest of the staff is very efficient and extremely nice and friendly. The Kula team has been able to create a beautiful sense of community. Thus, going to practice has become much more than doing hot yoga.
The facilities remain as clean and new as the very first day.
J. K. B.
Such a warm and friendly atmosphere the minute you walk through the door! All of the teachers, staff and the students are absolutely amazing and so helpful. The range of yoga and movement classes on offer is fantastic, there really is something for everyone! For anyone starting out I would highly recommend the intro offer as you receive 30 full days of unlimited access to all of the classes. If you are looking for a safe sanctuary to escape the daily grind or simply an enjoyable way to exercise then this is the place for you!
H. A.
I've done Sadhana Sculpt, Dynamic Body, Open vinyasa and Dynamic Vinyasa classes so far and I'm absolutely loving my experience. I've felt supported, encouraged, uplifted and joyful after each one of those classes. Teachers, staff and other students are friendly and since the first day I have felt welcome and that's really important for me. Especially for a person who likes the variety of different classes this place is a real gem because the schedule is not limited to only one or even two styles of yoga. It's a tidy and organized studio. I hope they keep up the great work!
C. S.
Kula is not just a yoga studio; it is a community filled with knowledgeable, friendly teachers and staff, and lovely people. I am honoured to have made some best friends there!
The studio is clean and spacious, with various classes and therapies on offer. I love spending my free time there as it is a very welcoming place and there is no judgement. The teachers are encouraging and supportive; you can always count on them to be just around the corner for you, as you go through every step of your yoga journey.
If you want some peace and quiet, and a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of every day life in London, Kula is certainly the place to be....

Have been attending some of the kula yoga classes in the past weeks, I love the challenge that each class brings. I enjoy watching my body make progress in each class, and I love the patience that each teacher puts in running the classes. It is a place where to exercise mind and body to becoming the best version of oneself. Totally recommend it to anybody interested in starting yoga or simply progressing in this practice. Perfect location, lovely staff and great teachers.
M. D.
I’m very new Sadhana and really enjoying my time already. Been trying the body Body Dynamic classes, which are a full body work out from the time you walk in till you work out. It’s excellent. I feel amazing after. Really nice teachers and general feel of welcoming.
There’s new shower facilities meaning I can do a class before work, change and get to the office fresh and ready to go.
Thanks.
A. B.
Loving the start of my yoga journey at Sadhana. They have a wide variety of classes to provide for both strength, flexibility and stretching. Almost always able to get a booking for the class I want to attend and the instructors are really informative and helpful during the practice. It's on the more expensive side but highly recommend.
M. J.
Classes are very good, and I always walk out feeling relaxed. Most of the teachers seem well experienced. The staffs are friendly and the free flowing teas is great.
Although the classes are nice the facilities is not to the quality expected considering the price. I have had issues with hot water and most of the times I go home for shower after the sessions. Also it was a shocker that the place did not have lockers which puts things under risk. So sadly I have to give it a rating of 3 compared to other places with similar pricing/classes/facilities
L. H.
I’ve been doing yoga since January and since then I’ve tried intro offers at multiple places because I can’t afford the usual £100 a month memberships.
Kula well-being has been by far the best - unfortunately the studio isn’t as nice as others, it’s dark and the floor is straw which holds onto smells. There are also no lockers which I find a bit difficult when I’m bringing my work laptop home and dropping into Yoga on the way home ... But the range of classes, the quality of the classes and teachers is amazing.
I love the branding and atmosphere of the whole place, it really sucks you in to the Yoga thing. I’m completely addicted to it for the first time and I’ll be gutted when my intro offer runs out </3
R. J.
What a wonderfully supportive environment in which to try out new (and challenging) types of yoga. Every class is a little bit different as each teacher brings their own flair to the class with different music, pace, guidance and humour. Coming to class each day, it feels like entering a little oasis of tranquility, strength and community. I couldn't recommend this centre enough!
L. P.
This place is fantastic! Often yoga memberships are needed to complement a gym membership but you need nothing else but Kula!! There’s a big variety of class styles ensuring you get an amazing work out every time. I’ve tried nearly all their classes now and each one has exceeded expectation. All the teachers are exceptional and each has their own style and method - you cannot get bored or lazy! The facilities are clean and very well presesnted. The team run their business extremely professionally and you can tell they all take great pride in what they’re producing. I’m hooked!!
S. S.
Have absolutely fallen in love with this place! The yoga instructors are brilliant and super experienced. Have only been there for a few weeks now and am already starting to see the changes in my body, have become addicted. It's lovely, spacious and clean inside, I would highly recommend.

This is a lovely Bikram studio. Friendly staff, great teachers and lovely big space. Changing rooms are clean and so is the studio.
It caters for all levels from beginner to advance. I love the offer of additional workshops like the nutrition workshop or monthly beginners workshops.
I've been practising Bikram yoga for years and so happy that this lovely studio opened last year (2013).
I would give it a 10 star if I could.
M. M.
I have recently joined this yoga studio after trying a few others around London and I really love it. It is really friendly and has amazing classes where I can take my yoga practice to a new level! Plus they do offer a student discount!
I. S.
I've been going to this yoga studio for over a year and I couldn't recommend it more highly! I've tried out yoga classes in various gyms including Fitness First, Nuffield Health, Pure Gym, Gymbox and the quality isn't the same. Here all the instructors are very professional, highly experienced, supportive and friendly. They always come up to you, give you an advice, correct your posture and keep challenging you. Another advantage is that they do lots of various classes throughout the week so you can try different types of yoga. Studio itself is lovely and well looked after. Other customers are very friendly too - it has a nice community feeling to it. Overall, I think it's one of the best studios in London and worth the money.
L. W.
Lovely studio, spacious warm rooms, good level of instructors, very clean. I like the seating area downstairs so you can chat to instructors or other members and feel it is a club and not just classes. Friendly staff from reception and instructors. Good atmosphere, I look forward to attending class.
K. V.
As a beginner to yoga I was not only happy to be thrown into each and every class like a seasoned yogi but to also have my instructor's patience and guidance through each pose. My favourite teacher by far is Martin and would recommend his soothing voice, gentle humour, and optimistic nature to any beginner. He takes the time to show you each pose as well as different variations depending on your skill level. His classes are the perfect start to my day.
P. W.
I came over a week ago as a complete newbie and have loved the experience so far - I plan to keep coming for the foreseeable! I enjoy the Vinyasa classes the most but still do the bikram and Vin. All the teachers have been lovely - some with different vibes..one that I’m not sure about yet but will try again. Definitely recommend as it is such a welcoming and accepting place where all students and teachers seem to have time to listen and talk :)
M. T.
A great place of calm and tranquility.
The classes are varied and staff are very welcoming. Depending on your level of practice, options are given to challenge or support you during the class.
Early evening classes are busy but there are a good number of classes to choose from on a daily basis.
E. B.
Hellllllllp. I've been stuck in halfway lift limbo for years.
C. L. C.
A great studio with lots of different types of yoga classes. Excellent instructors!
Make sure you bring your mat though as they charge £1 if you’re doing the intro offer/pay as you go!
U. A.
A lovely haven to escape to, full of great energy, welcoming staff, and great teachers!
There are lots of different classes on offer, all of which compliment each other! Also throughout the year there are lots of great workshops to help deepen your practise and knowledge!
The fun and friendly environment, makes it great studio to practise in!
K. B.
First time trying Bikram and even though it is incredibly hard as a newbie, it is SO satisfying! The teachers are all lovely, very patient and kind. I will definitely be signing up as a full member. I have a bad ankle and a dodgy lower back, so definitely can't manage all the poses but you feel perfectly free to take it at your own pace and I am learning more each time I go. Love it! x
A. C. B. A.
Great pace to relax and reconnect with your inner self.
Teachers are really good they give me a variation of yoga position for my previous injuries. I start with a 7 days trial and decide to join after te 1st class.
E. H.
A relaxed and incredibly friendly studio with a great variety of classes. The instructors are welcoming to newbies, and always able to offer advice to help improve your practice – and great to be able to try bikram alongside other types of yoga too!
I. G. F.
I love Sadhana, I originally went to try sculpt and never thought I would like it let alone join but its been great. All teachers are really friendly but their classes are theirs even if its the same name you can expect the same style but not the same class. Fab class times that fit around me and I have met some lovely people after just 9 days! 👍🙌😁💪
G. M.
I absolute love Kula yoga classes! The studio is fabulous with a great chill-out area and good positive vibes. I find the 60 mins Bikram classes great for people who are always on the run like me. I would highly recommend the vinyasa and the kula sculpt classes when you need to be energized. Cannot recommend the studio enough.
L. v. D.
Had been meaning to drop by for years and just did!Was a complete beginner at yoga but felt very supported and welcomed by staff and teachers. Fabulous, fun, great teachers. In 2 weeks, have learnt so much. Great choice of types of classes, times of the day.
S. N.
I attend up to 5 days a week - bikram , vinyasa dynamic and open, and yin . At this place I find my moving meditation, medicine and journey back to myself 🙏. Thank you .
V. G.
A delightful yoga school with a range of teachers for a variety of abilities. There's always something new to try, and with classes every hour, you can definitely make your practice work around your life. The instructors vary in tutorage, some are very "yoga" with chanting and meditation, whereas others are more western and mix in a yoga-hiit workout. There's lots to explore! (Be careful when a class is labelled 'warm' tho, because that means HOT aka Bikram!!)
L. O.
This is an excellent yoga studio. I'm fairly faddish with my exercising but lasted here a full year (and only stopped as moved from London) Martin's classes were by far my favorite, his classes are challenging but through his instruction always seem to fly by & you'd leave feeling re-energized and relaxed. Also loved Marylou's classes.
M. S.
The place is super cozy and colourful: you can easily get to relax before and after the practise.
Teachers are amazing! They are very helpful and allow you to practise at your own pace. Moreover the variety of teachers and classes helped me learn everytime something new. Definitely recommended!
C. W.
Just started doing yin yoga here and I like it. Super informative instructors, nice space and decent facilities. It does get super busy in the evenings so worth getting there early to get the spot you want. If you're prone to claustrophobia, you might find the classes in the Earth studio a little cramped
R. R.
I’m only 5 classes in but I’ve loved every one I’ve done. The studio is clean with a calm atmosphere, the teachers are encouraging and knowledge and I especially like the range and number of classes available.
The mixed skill levels make you feel both welcomed and also inspired to improve your practice.
M. M.
This really is a wonderful studio. The Bikram room itself is spacious, bright and light with heat and humidity electronically controlled. The whole place, including the changing rooms, is super clean. There's a chill out area with yoga reading materials and complimentary herbal tea and wifi. The staff and teachers are amazing and you're welcomed warmly every time you visit. If you want to experience Bikram at its very best, then this is the place to be :-)
A. L.
This is the best studio I have been to in London! The teachers are very professional, friendly and supportive. There are regular workshops, nutrition challenges and social events which is good for motivation. I can't wait to get in the studio on wet, cold winter days to warm up and boost my circulation. Regular practise really does have so many benefits. I rarely suffer from insomnia anymore and my circulation and flexibilty have improved. You will be amazed how good you feel after class.....give it a try!
E. N.
I signed up for the introductory offer for 30 days of unlimited classes and have loved it so far. I really appreciate the flexibility of having a variety of classes available at any time, as I’ve found it difficult to commit to a fixed weekly class in the past. Lovely atmosphere: welcoming, relaxed and not too serious.
C. M.
Sadhana is amazing. There are a wide range of classes to choose from and I have enjoyed and benefitted from each one. The teachers are very supportive and welcoming, the studios are lovely and clean and the chill out zone is a beautiful and calm place to relax. Booking is so easy online too and the receptionists are very helpful and will answer any queries you have. I love it here!
V. R.
Kula Yoga is the best yoga studio I have been to so far in London.
The Bikram teachers are really inclusive and welcoming, and literally each class I have been to, the teachers give their all. I have been going for a couple of years now and although I am moving from South-West London to South-East, I will still come to this studio.
The vibe is really chilled here too. What I love is that the teachers do not expect you to be 100 per cent all the time- if you have had a hard day and struggling in class, then thats okay and to accept where you are today.
A. B.
I'm so glad this studio opened last year. It has inspiring, friendly teachers who really know how to motivate and push you.
Its clean!!!
For me this is the perfect way to stay fit, health and sane (as a mum of 3 under 5).
The 'hot mums' deal is really good value of money. Its always a pleasure walking in this studio. Everybody is always friendly and welcoming. They really do their best to make you part of there community.
What is not to love?
I. F.
I absolutely love this place. Compared to other bikram yoga studios it is better in so many ways: they have really good heat control so it doesn't go above the prescribed temperature and humidity, some other studios get painfully hot! The changing rooms and showers are spacious, clean and modern. The teachers there are excellent but not punishing as I've experience with other studios and finally the staff are so lovely, there's a real community feel there with lots of special events and themed classes ie. spooky Halloween. If you want to try Bikram yoga, this is the place to do it and you should definitely want to try Bikram yoga!! It's hard but makes you feel amazing :)
L. N.
The teachers here are really great - motivating and fun! They keep an eye on you through class, ensuring you are in the right postures etc. They have a lovely little common area as well with books and tea so you can relax before and after class. Highly recommend!
N. N.
Day five of coming to classes at Kula well-being and I'm already addicted! I originally wanted to just do bikram but tried out kula sculpt (a really fun class (with music) than combines aerobics with weights and yoga poses) - absolutely loved it and signed up to three classes a week. The teachers (especially Mary Lou) here are dedicated and do their utmost to help you improve. Really recommend this place!
F. C.
I have joined Sadhana, Clapham, on their intro offer and so far am loving it! They have a very varied timetable and I have tried a range of classes. The instructors are friendly and talented, and the classes can push you if desired. I would highly recommend
M. O. L.
High standars of training from all the Yoga teachers. There is a variety of classes. The studio is very clean and beautiful. Good value for introductory and second month offers but after that I find it slighlty expensive and they also charge you for the mats.
I. K.
Great variety of classes and excellent teachers. I was trying Bikram for the first time. Although it is quite tough I enjoyed it a lot and the teacher explained all the steps and what we were doing really well. Can highly recommend this studio!

Wrote this review a year or so ago:
Wonderful first class here today with Sibel.
Lovely venue.
Looking forward to keep coming back!
Here is my review today, having just got back from a Bikram class at Kula, and feeling very good:
After a year of not doing class, back into the stride of regular classes and feel AMAZING.
Body responding really well in all areas. About to get married in a month’s time and feeling very ready for that ;-) Helped greatly by the truly excellent teachers, each with their own style of teaching the form.
Also enjoying the clarity of thought that also seems to come with the training. Many useful insights have come up during the final relaxation at the end of class.
Thank you to all at Kula!!
You make a BIG difference!
T. N.
After my 5th class here, I feel really relaxed here and the teachers have been so great and really had a warm welcoming from them. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to start out hot yoga. Classes have a very chilled and friendly vibe.
A. E.
It was my first time doing bikram yoga and the first studio I went to here in London and I'm so glad I found it !
The staff is great and the teachers are amazing !
The atmosphere is very relaxed, supportive and welcoming.
I would recommend this place to anyone who's into yoga or who'd like to start getting into it !
k.
I love this place! I've been attending Dalston branch for a week now and the moment you arrive the receptionists makes you feel at home. The teachers are great in giving feedback during and after class and they're approachable if you need a chat. Give Bikram a go for maintaining your good health.

I had the best experience at Kula on Sunday.
I attended the Kula sculpt class taught by Michelle. Michelle's energy and enthusiasm really inspired you to push yourself. Sculpt is a combination of both yoga, HIIT and weights where you really challenge your body.
I felt amazing afterwards - big thanks Michelle.
The vibes in the studio really help you to escape your everyday stresses. With super friendly and welcoming staff, excellent facilities and an overall 10/10 class and instructor, I cannot rate my experience any higher.
Thanks to all who made it so enjoyable. Xx

I have loved each and every class I’ve tried at Kula (five so far in just over a week!). I haven’t done yoga for years and was feeling out of practice and unfit but the Kula teachers have all been accommodating and gentle, giving me modifications where necessary and talking me through postures I was uncertain about. I have also sent two other people to this studio already because I can’t stop raving about it! Feeling so much more balanced, energised, relaxed and strong since I’ve started. Thank you Kula!
B. T.
I never considered myself a yogi and was only planning to try the guest pass, but I am now hooked on Sadhana! All of the teachers are so great and every class feels like my first time, with a different feel. I come out feeling so much more centred and its helping to realign and become aware of the imbalances in my body. Its also a completely unintimidating environment so I would reccommend to anyone no matter what experience level you have :)
J. B.
A fantastic studio. The space itself is spacious, bright, and very clean however it’s the staff; from reception through to the owner who go out of their way to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that really make the place.
The teachers are very knowledgeable and strike the right balance between critical and motivating, which helps everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners enjoy and progress.
I mainly practice Bikram however the studio now caters for several different styles which receive similarly glowing reports.
M. M.
I do the 90min on Tuesday evenings and Mary Lou is great. She’s super attentive, really picks up on where you need to correct your pose and is really supportive. The studio has a lovely atmosphere too.
K. K.
I do Hot Yogas classes at Kula, loving it! Highly professional teachers, big room, mats provided and towels at an additional small charge. and I know some people are concerned with hot yoga spaces being smelly... this studio is not one of them:)
j. P.
After trying few different hot yoga school in London I finally found the one! All class I took here had always a great teacher with a lot of positive energy in the room! The atmosphere at Kula is great you feel like at home. I definitely recommend kula to anyone who is interests to try or practice bikram yoga

This is my first time of proper yoga.
Sadhana offer a great and varied range of yoga scroac the day and evening.
The teachers are excellent and clearly are experts.
Sadhana is run, it's clean, friendly, and welcoming.
I am feeling better, healthier, calmer and taller.

I have tried many hot yoga studios in London but Kula is my favorite from them all! The facility is specious containing two yoga rooms, physio/wellbing studio and well fitted fitting rooms with showers. The staff is super friendly and very helpful who makes you feel a part of Kula family.
L. N.
Kula offers a lovely calm environment for those new to yoga. The classes offer explanations for all poses and the teachers assist those who require more assistance.
A great place to come and unwind with Yin yoga!
E. R.
This lovely studio is very friendly and welcoming and has a great selection of classes. There’s workshops available - I did an excellent one on Beginners Vinyasa - and I love the little touches like the herbal teas that are waiting for sweaty yogis after class.
S. H.
Sadhana offers a wide variety of strong, dynamic classes. The introductory offer is fantastic and the location is convenient. Good teachers and a lovely shared space for relaxing before / after class. Good quality props and mats to hire for only a £1!
A. J.
I have been a member of the studio for about two years now. Always liked the teachers and the facilities. However, the management have recently updated their class cancellation policy whereby if you cancel less than two hours prior to the class you get charged (classes deducted) which I have no problem with BUT they also block your ability to book classes for a week. As someone who has to commute to the Clapham studio from Zone 5, I am heavily reliant on an often inconsistent train service to get there. Today, all Southern trains in that direction were cancelled due to flooding. I tried to call a few times but no one picks up the phone or calls back. This seems to be a repeating issue i.e. no one responds to your emails or phone messages if there is an issue, suggestion or complaint. There is simply no customer service other than reception desk when you are there. Unless there are improvements in management communication style and changes to the inflexible cancellation policy, unfortunately, I will have to cancel my membership and stop recommending it to my friends

I have absolutely loved my first week at Kyla Wellbeing. As a fairly confident yogi, I have found the classes very open but challanging at the same time. The team have been so friendly and helpful - you can feel the shared love and energy that keeps Kula running so smoothly. Would highly recommend to any level of yogi.
C. E.
The studio is always a lovely place to visit and find your inner peace. The reception staff and students are always so lovely, friendly and helpful. Teachers are exceptional as well and are easy to approach with any questions or concerns, making it a great space for regulars or new yogis to practice!!
Z. T.
I have absolutely loved attending classes at Kula and have found the reception staff very welcoming and the teachers really care about your progress. i have particularly enjoyed the introduction to Bikram with Marylou McDonnell who was fantastic teaching the Bikram asanas along with Sharka. I have noticed my energy levels have improved and my body shape is more tonned. This has given me incentive to continue practicing yoga at Kula. Thank you Zena

The new Dalston studio is a beautiful and state-of-the-art space. Large yoga rooms, luxurious changing room and a whole range of classes to choose from. It's an oasis with friendly, approachable staff. Highly recommend.
D. A.
Really pleased to have a yoga/pilates studio open so close to home. Facilities are spacious, brand new and the service really friendly. Good mats. I'm not huge on Bikram but I really like the Dynamic Body/sculpt classes (wish they had more of those cause there's no Pilates in Dalston?) and I've also tried Dynamic Vinyasa today which was great. Thumbs up
R. B.
Such a wonderful studio with really helpful, nice people. They have a great range of classes and amazing array of therapists that work out of the studio. I cannot recommend it more! Try Michelle's Vinyasa on a Monday evening - what a great way to start the week!
S. N.
I am on day 11 of the 30 day challenge and already seeing and feeling the benefits. The new studio in Dalston is a great space; the Sadhana Dalston Family are all very warm, friendly & helpful and I love the the mix of classes on offer. I have taken quite a lot of Bikram classes and have also taken 1 Vinyasa, 1 Sadhana Sculpt & 2 Yin classes. I am looking forward to trying the Dynamic body class soon.
Sam, Sadhana Yoga enthusiast.

I have tried four different classes with 5 different teachers at Kula and have enjoyed them all. The facilities are great and you can book the classes online which I find very convenient. The intro offer for new customers is great value although it is quite pricey after that.
A. S.
Have had an amazing experience here. Did the intro offer for £45. The instructors are super aproachfull and really focus on helping you improve. Have seen massive improvements in my practise, body and mind after only a few weeks. Would definitely recommend for first time yogis as well as regulars.

Heal your body, strengthen your mind and transform your life - Why I love Kula Hot Yoga and Wellbeing:
They say that yoga comes with a warning - it causes good health and happiness. I have always been a keen runner and never considered yoga to be my thing, well, until I tried it. Despite the difficulty most of us experience when first getting into yoga, I was hooked from the first class - you will feel the benefits straightaway and soon realise that the longer you practice, the more life-changing your journey will become. The feeling is addictive. Get beyond the myth that yoga is not for you - it is for everyone. It is a medicinal therapy which will stretch out tight muscles, work wonders on your spine and joints and restore your mindfulness and calm. It is not the latest fad but an ancient practice which has been around for millenniums - a true testament to the benefits of this spiritual practice.
Every studio is only as good as its teachers and Kula Hot Yoga and Wellbeing is regarded by hot yoga followers as one of the best studios in London. It has a real sense of community - you will be in very capable hands of expert teachers and meet fantastic people who will share your passion for yoga and wellbeing and love to join in heated conversations.
It is also the variety of classes, which make the studio unique and suitable for all levels. Beginners receive strong guidance and advice from experienced teachers. If you spend your day chained to your desk, head to a lunchtime or an evening class and you will feel a positive difference immediately after relieving the tension and demands of every day life. There is no better way to finish a busy working week or a sociable weekend than joining a restorative candlelit class on Friday or Sunday nights. The studio also offers an advance class on Sundays and has recently introduced pregnancy classes. And there are special workshops and retreats for those who want to develop their practice further. Last but not least, the studio is spacious and clean. The resident therapists Baris and Michael do fantastic deep tissue massage - so enjoyable and healing.
Yoga is not competitive - it is about you and setting your own goals of what you want to achieve from your practice at each stage. The Kula teachers will be there to support you, they are such a caring,, knowledgeable, engaging and fun bunch. What better way to invest in your health than embarking on a new physical and mental challenge. Love your body, love yourself and experience new energy in your life - yoga will become the best thing that has ever happened to you.
s. p.
Fabulous yoga studio, the workshops are amazing and the team is so friendly, especially Michelle who is fun and kind. It really feels like a community, much better than any other yoga studio i have tried. 5 star
N. M.
Kula Hot Yoga have the most wonderful set up tucked away from the hustle and bustle of London. You're greeted by the loveliest ladies, and each teacher really takes the time to introduce new people to the class. The before/after class set up is perfect and you have all the facilities you need to shower afterwards and enjoy a cup of tea. Absolute heaven!
C. H.
Brilliant classes, I feel amazing after them. Studio is clean and friendly. The lovely diffusers make the studio smell nice, some hot yoga places just smell sweaty!
J. L.
I have really enjoyed all my classes at Kula yoga. All the teachers are great. Facilities are good. They have a few good introductory offers. 5 stars from me!
A. P.
Friendly and inviting staff, and I really like some of the teachers. However, as with a lot of hot yoga places it's too dark and has a funky smell to it. The choice of carpet/sisal/fibre flooring in the studios is unfortunate. Doesn't feel clean and fresh
C. T.
Love this studio! Compared to other bikram studios I've been to in London the temperature is well maintained, is not stifflingly hot and the air feels really fresh.
The whole studio is really spacious - no queuing in tight hallways and fighting for a space in the room. The changing rooms are also really roomy - I don't feel like I'm doing another yoga series in the changing rooms afterwards just to get dressed!
The studio has a really relaxed vibe and the staff are all super friendly.
L. S.
Love the classes and format especially the yin, sculpt and vinyasa, however I find during sculpt the room is unbearably hot and has no ventilation. Some classes feel a little to crowded and you cannot do certain poses without hitting someone
A. E.
Joining up to Kula on the spur of the moment turns out to be the best decision I made this summer. I've never found exercise easy but their instructors and whole ethos has been a perfect fit for me. I'm happy to say am a total yoga convert now.
B. d. J.
Variety of classes & great teachers. Good facilities (mats, peppermint tea, showers etc) and friendly reception staff. Great choice for Yoga in SW area.
R. G.
Kula is a wonderful space to go and practice, so glad I found this studio. The teachers are so knowledgeable and help you strongly progress but at your own pace. There is a lovely energy here, can't recommend it enough!
A. M.
I really enjoy the variety of classes that are offered at Kula. I have only been a member at Kula for a couple of weeks now but throughout the 5 sessions I have taken, I have learnt so much about the benefits of different types of practice (previously I've only ever taken Vinyasa) so I've started booking in for classes that complement my energy and activity levels throughout the week which has been so amazing. My sleep has also improved ten fold, which is an added bonus!
L. P.
Kula well being is just what my body has been craving. The instructors go all out to motivate your mind and body to the limits and the studio is so vibrant and comfortable. I wish there were more sculpt classes in th evenings after work.
W. B.
Whether you are brand new to Bikram Yoga or are more experienced you will love BYCJ. The teachers are great – friendly and will give you tips specifically for you. I have been struggling with a knee injury and the teachers have given me fantastic advice on how to approach certain postures. I had been practicing a while before I found this studio. I loved it straight away. The first thing that struck me was how great the heat / humidity system is. The air always feels fresh and light – hot but not suffocating (though I always seem to sweat more than most of my fellow yogis!). BYCJ is so welcoming – the studio is warm and so are the people !
S. B.
I LOVE this place. I enjoy strong practice so I highly recommend Baris’s iFlow and all Vinyasa classes! There is lots of nice energy in the studio …You see people chatting and having tea before or after class, talking with the teachers! What makes a studio special for me is its people so a huge and special thanks to Michelle and Baris for all their passionate work!
G. L.
So sad I had to leave Kula, to come back to my birth country.. What a fantastic place to practice yoga, the teachers are completely devoted to their student, and the class are always inventives and challenging in the good way. The facilities are really good and there is good vibes all around :) Thank you so much, it really felt like second home for me !
T. R.
The moment you walk into Kula you are hit with positive and friendly energy from the staff and other yogis. The rooms are perfectly sized with mirrors which can really help you when it comes to correcting and analysing your posture during class. It is always very clean in the changing rooms, showers and bathrooms. Additionally there is no worry if you forget anything as there are mats, towels, shower gels, etc. on hand at the desk. A magical place.

Since the first day I joined Bikram Yoga Clapham Junction with the intro offer (March 2014) I’ve been practicing for 5-6 times a week and the changes you see in your body, flexibility, equilibrium, and specially in your mind every day are amazing… the studio, the teachers and all the people in the studio doing yoga are fantastic and the atmosphere in every class is great, you are giving yourself a gift that you will appreciate forever. It is just 3 months for me now, but I intend never leave it, as I know I will see more positive things in my life every day!
It is so difficult to describe in a few lines all the amazing benefits Bikram yoga has brought to my life! But here are just some of them:
1. I am sleeping so much better!!!, I used to fall asleep at 1, 2 am in the morning and wake up or really early or really late, my sleep schedule was a mess, and I used to wake up really tired… now, I am falling sleep at 10, 11 pm and I am waking up early but totally and completely relax and rested, I really feel that I have energy for all the day.
2. I had some extra pounds that I already lost just doing Bikram. The most amazing thing is that Bikram has helped me a lot controlling my cravings especially for chocolate and caramel (which I love with all my heart!!) I still love them but now I don’t feel the need to eat them so often, as a matter of fact, Bikram has made me conscious about what I eat, I started to notice that I really don’t want to eat rubbish food and I am more conscious about the foods I have, trying always to buy healthy foods and I am trying to cut all kind of bad sugars.. I feel that I don’t need them any more (except dark chocolate and fruits of course).
3. I was dealing with a lot of stress and a little bit of depression and Bikram has helped me enormously to deal better with difficult situations and sadness. Of course I still have stress but the way I deal with it and the way I see things are completely different. Only until you live it you know what I am talking about.
These are just some of the amazing things Bikram Yoga has done for me so far….
J. E.
This is a beautiful brand new studio with a really clean space to practice in. A pretty varied range of classes too, bikram to vinyasa, with an early morning class that's perfect for before work. I'm doing the month long intro but think I will sign up full time after that.
E. C.
Really excellent teachers at this studio and a good range of classes - bikram, yin, sculpt, vinyasa etc. Great atmosphere and facilities. I love it so far!
A. S.
Amazing yoga centre with state of the art facilities and very friendly people working there. Different types of yoga offered so there is something for everyone. A temple for health and wellbeing with nutrition sessions available , massages and treatments on the side to create the perfect balance. Absolutely love it🌟🌟🌟
C. S.
Amazingly comforting & welcoming yoga studio. The yogis made me feel at ease from the first class. Would highly recommend the yin classes.
H. S.
I signed up for a 45 Day course at Sadhana and I’m loving the experience of unlimited access to all classes for this period of time. Booking classes is easy and the centre is well organised with some great teachers and facilities.
M. J.
A lovely little space really close to Clapham Junction. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. I took Michelle Varchoine’s vinyasa class, and I’ll definitely be back. She managed the mixed abilities of the class like a pro, giving options for dedicated yogis doing handstands and first-timers alike. I really got a sweat on, and I left the class feeling relaxed and energised.
R. G.
I have tried every single class and enjoyed it very much. Each class is challenging in a different way and helps you build body and mind strength . Staff and teachers are just lovely and very professional and because of the good energy that is there, makes me go there every day. I would highly recommend to try it
H. W.
Great yoga studio very friendly teachers and staff! It would be better if the bikram yoga studio was a bit less humid (but I know that’s how it’s meant to be )
K. F.
I’d highly recommend the Bikram 60 minutes with Sharka. Great for all abilities. Kula is a great yoga studio, though there is limited security for valuables so try to leave them at home!
M. G. B.
I recently visited Kula well-being and practiced with Michelle, a larger than life fun loving vinyasa teacher.
Her class was fun, strong, but very grounded. I got a lot from her physical adjustments and cueing, loves the references to the philosophy and origins of the practice and her attitude was cheeky and playful.
I also loved her playlist, she is a credit to the company, and I will be back for more!
L. H.
I love everything about this place. The teachers, receptionists, changing rooms, the yoga room. It's all great. My yoga practice has come on leaps and bounds since joining BYCJ and I've made a load of friends on the way. A year ago I would have laughed if you'd have told me I'd be a self confessed 'yogi', choosing to spend 90mins sweating in a room full of half naked people, but it turns out that, not only do I chose to do it...I can't stop myself doing it all the time! If you're looking for a super friendly, clean studio with amazing teachers and students look no further. BYCJ is my happy place :)
M. J.
Loving the classes so far. Both 60 & 90 min Bikram classes go at a really good pace, the teachers are all very supportive and really know what they’re doing!
P. C.
I had a great yoga class here today, really gracefully taught with love by Christoff. Met the owner who was uber lovely and the space is really awesome. Love the ethical shower was and inspirational setting. I'll be visiting again!
E. O.
Fantastic instructors - some of the best I have had in London. Although really feel that they pack the studio too fully which can detract from the experience.
J. C.
From the moment you step through Kula's automatic doors into reception, you are greeted by a friendly face and made to feel incredibly welcome. Michelle Varchione's Vinyasa Flow class is great. Her instruction is calm and encouraging, and as she takes you through a strong practice you know you are under the guidance of someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about what she is doing. Uplifting and fun!!
C. L.
Kula is the perfect environment to practice and chill out after class among like-minded yogi's with comprehensive facilities and inspiring teachers, you will not regret your visit to this wonderfully warm community vibe studio. It is a privilege to practice here.
L. E.
Everybody is wonderfully friendly, the entire studio is immaculate, and the yoga room is bright and spacious- definitely a cut above any of the other bikram studios i've visited! Thoroughly recommend.
A. K.
I have never tried hot yoga before and this studio welcomed me so well. All the teacher are so lovely and give advices to all the people. No matter what’s your level.
S. C.
I love the energy of all the instructors and they are all friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of classes at all different times throughout the day, I love the variety of all the different and unique classes developed by all the talented teachers
M. A.
If someone said to you, 90 minutes in 40 degree heat, most people would laugh at you like some crazy person (unless you lived in the Middle East!). But essentially, this is what Bikram Yoga is! At BYCJ, the team welcome you into the studio as if you are part of their family and invite you to recharge, relax, let go, push yourself, and most importantly enjoy a moving meditation practice. Having practiced Bikram Yoga at other studios in London, I knew I was going to enjoy having one so close to my house when it opened mid 2013. To date, I have been and will continue to be a regular patron - not just because of how good it feels to detox that little bit, push yourself into a slightly deeper stretch or just block out the hustle and bustle of London, but because it is a community. I have met some lovely people who motivate me and push me further in my practice and the team, both front of house and teachers, are so passionate about it that you can't help but get a little bit addicted to it. So I urge all of you reading this to come along and give it a try - its not about being the best, its about you, the mat and the moment, giving it a go and seeing how you come out of it on the other side and I promise, once you do try it, you will want to come back for more.
k.
Have a 90 min hot yoga class every Monday. It is fab !!!! Good energising class. Luv it!!! All facilities are great! Would recommend to friends.
R. B.
Kula has far exceed my expectations! I was returning to yoga after 2 children and 6 years. Kula staff were welcoming and lovely. I’m hooked and already seeing the benefits in my well being and self. Thank you Kula!
R. R.
The classes offer a lot of variety and there are many class times which allow me to go before or after work. There are so many different teachers and I have enjoyed being taught by all of them.
R. D.
Great place! As a newbie to yoga I found the place really welcoming and the mix of classes is nice so you can mix it up.
J. M.
This is my first time ever doing yoga and I couldn't recommend the studio enough. Great for beginners but also many experienced people so it's easy to follow what they do
S. C.
Kula has been an amazing experience for me - I only wish it was a little closer to where I live but it's always worth the journey to feel incredible afterwards. Thank you for you being such great teachers and for bringing this space to London!
L. C.
Have been at Sadhana now for 3 weeks and so far so good. The place has a great vibe and so far all the classes/instructors have been fab. Feel lucky to have this place on my doorstep.
M. C.
I love my Yin class and I will keep doing this class at least twice a week.
Teachers are very professional with lots of experience how to help us understand our body and mind.
T. L.
Great variety of classes and top notch teachers. Thoroughly recommend for beginners and more advanced yoga enthusiasts.
m. a. r.
I am enjoying the classes, I think is good to have a break from the crazy life. The only thing I would like to recommend is that inside the hot rooms the smell is quite strong sometimes so an extra essence could make things better.
M. B. A.
I love this place. The studio is very clean and the staff are amazing. I have been going to the studio since last year June and I can honestly say it is the best decision I have made for my overall wellbeing. The feeling I get after every class keeps me going back every day.
B. C.
Such an amazing place! Clean, spacious and happy. There is Bikram, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga to choose from. Best yoga studio in the area, with the best staff and teachers.
l. a.
The quality of teaching has been amazing- it’s really pushing me to try new inversions and moves that I wouldn’t have previously. It can be a bit daughnting at first with the standard of students but that’s just encouraging to think you could get to that level. Thoroughly recommend- I’m hooked
D. M.
I have been going to the studio since september and haven't looked back since. I am a triathlete and race at Ironman distance events. I am in training for Ironman Lanzarote and Ironman Nice and find Bikram a integral part of my training. The staff at BYCJ are amazing and the nicest bunch with a real community feel to it, including lunches on a friday after class at whole foods..i could not recommend BYCJ enough!! Its part of my day I really look forward to.
W. Z.

I have done yoga before but not for some 15 years since we had children - now older and rather less bendy - and have never done bikram before - so I was a bit apprehensive - but after 6 sessions with 5 different teachers I am very glad Ive started again - teachers good, facilities good, very convenient to railway - thank you :-) David
K. U.
Cracking location, fantastic staff, great atmosphere and funny seeing everyone bend into weird and wonderful positions. What more could you ask for?! I heard a rumor that if you manage a whole class without sweating, you get it for free...
