Reviews of triyoga Shoreditch

Great studio, good facilities and amazing classes with excellent teachers 🙏🏽

Ive been a member again for a couple of months now and thought it deserved a good review! It was so sad that my old studio closed down due to the pandemic but triyoga has been a great alternative. The experience and professionalism of the teachers is next level and they offer such a range of styles and levels. Compared to other studios in London, its in its own league. The studio is really comfortable with great changing rooms, showers and towels and the reception team are really helpful, friendly and respond straight away via email.

It’s the magical place I miss most since leaving London. I’ve been working in town all week so I decided to return. After years of Rocket and Ashtanga - I did my first Yin class last night in Shoreditch with Emily M. I felt like I was walking on a cloud when I left. She’s awesome. Respect to the entire TY team !!

This was my first visit to the Shoreditch studio and was a bit disappointed unfortunately. I have visited the Camden studio before and was very impressed and am now comparing the 2 experiences side my side. I have also been to other yoga/pilates studios in London so am also comparing this experience with those.
When I first visited the Camden studio it was clearly very busy but the staff still offered to give me a quick tour of the premises. When I attended the Shoreditch one it was actually very quiet and I was the only customer there but no one offered a quick tour, which most studios do if they know you are new. There was quite a time to wait but unfortunately the wifi was down so I could not kill time.
The yoga class I attended at Camden was lovely. The yoga teacher was already there 15 minutes early and greeted each student warmly. Unfortunately there was no teacher to be seen at the barre class at the Shoreditch studio for about 10 minutes and none of the other class attendees knew why. When I went out to check with the employees at the front desk there was 3 of them chatting amongst themselves but clearly not busy with customers and were unaware of the issue with the late teacher until I told them.
When the barre teacher attended she did apologise for being late but also proceeded to spend the rest of the class frequently complaining about tfL which is not the best vibe to be in for an exercise class. The class was fine but personally a bit rushed and I did not feel my technique was corrected on enough during. Also I was surprised there were no props as with other barre classes I have attended in the past including hand weights, bands or balls.
Unfortunately I will not be keen to try out any other classes at this studio, let down mainly by service. But I would certainly not rule out the other Triyoga studios!

I have been a member for a few years and I enjoy coming back here. The class selection is extensive so practitioners of every level and temperament can find a suitable class. I find some teachers to be a bit too ego-centric and performative for me, but most are incredibly sincere, warm and dedicated.
The only downside is that the membership cost is a bit steep (might be just me?)
Front-house staff and support staff are FANTASTIC.
Excellent facilities. Heated floor in winter is such a treat!

I had a great Friday evening Iyengar class. As a returning to Iyengar student I thought I’d take this opportunity to try TriYoga. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was amazed at the facility, clean, spacious, professional. The guy on the front desk (Northern Lad) took me to the studio and explained the process. The class was excellent, the teacher(Celia Henebury) was very diligent and had a lovely subtle way offering advice to improve my technique. I frequently visit London and will make this a regular part of my Friday routine.

great studio with a lot of experienced teachers and classes to chose from. great facilities too. early opening and late closing times that helps to work around your schedules. But I am the most impressed with the classes online during lockdowns! merging all studios online made it so much easier to reach teachers you would normally not be able to reach! it is an absolute treat and it makes me egoistically want classes to stay online always :) classes became very accessible, one minute you're in your bed and the other you're practising with most amazing gurus, no commuting in cold and rain, just perfect :)

A beautiful space, really close to Shoreditch station with so many lovely finishing touches - I loved the classes with Stewart Gilchrist & Anna Ashby, as ever some of the best teachers in London - can't wait to go back.

I came for the coffee and it was super tasty. Homemade almond milk..hmmm! Had a look at the yoga classes and definitely going to try get back for a yoga class. Super friendly staff too!

Tri Yoga has some of the best hard working teachers. There’s so many you probably need to do your research on their teacher profile on their website & try out teachers closest to your yoga style preference. Personally I love Imi Wiseman. Her 6:30am classes are popular and really saved me during lockdown 1,2 and 3. Early morning worked for me as my working days were so busy. I also love & recommend Amme Poulton, Chris Miller & Marcus Veda.

Definitely my new favourite yoga studio. As you would expect from triyoga, the teachers are the most knowledgeable and experienced but the teaching caters for all levels. The studios are really beautiful and bright and the cafe/ reception area is a brilliant place for a coffee and some delicious food before or after class. Staff are super friendly and helpful- can't rate it highly enough!

This is a beautiful yoga studio, and probably the most professional in London (part of a chain). Good balance between physical and spiritual aspects of yoga.
There’s also a small coffee shop in it with juices and snacks.
The class was a bit crowded (we were sixty on a Sunday morning).

I’ve really enjoyed every yoga class I’ve attended here. Nice friendly knowledgeable teachers. Some have bigger egos than others, nonetheless, still enjoyable characters. Sweet staff at the front. Clean locker rooms with great showers. Pieces well for yoga classes and packages.

I really enjoyed my visit to the studio. It was new, clean with a small cafe. I like it much better than their Soho studio. The studio space was nice. However, I found that there were too many people in the class that I could not do some poses properly. The reception area was also cramped with people taking of shoes and check in all in the same small space. I think the Camden studio has better layout for the reception area.

I had such a great first experience at the Triyoga location! After trying the Camden location I wanted to change things up - the staff were so welcoming and instantly showed me how to check in, gave me a tour and set me up. The location is beautiful (if slightly more cozy/quaint size compared to Camden) and I found both the class and teacher engaging, warm, personable and well-trained. Thank you, I'll be coming back!

Triyoga have opened a beautiful yoga centre, with stunning studios and a luxurious, spacious changing room in the heart of Shoreditch. The class I tried was a challenging warm vinyasa flow, offering options for all levels. I would definitely recommend and will be back very soon!

Great classes BUT Triyoga needs to sort the mat cleaning situation. It’s gross. My last class there were 2 dirty rags used to clean 25 mats and the “mat cleaning liquid” doesn’t smell like it has any alcohol or other substance known to kill germs. Then you roll the mats up and put them away before they have a chance to dry. Unsurprisingly the mats smell.

I signed up for the amazing first-timer deal: £54 for 30 days of umlimited yoga. I think it's a fantastic way, if you're fairly new to yoga, to sample the different classes and styles of yoga to find one to suit. I've really enjoyed coming a few times a week and have found restorative yoga to be the best suited so far. Still have a few styles to try. Studios are clean, serene and lovely. High-tech lockers and really friendly staff. My only critisism would be the info they give under some of the classes when booking online. I booked on to do Vinyasa Flow at open level (so from beginners to advanced). At the start of the class the teacher asked if any of us were new to Vinyasa and a few hands were raised. I felt it was pointless her asking as once the class started I was completely lost! I understand vinyasa flow is a fast paced class but she was telling us to change rapidly into poses I've never heard of and I became quite stressed out and so left the class after about 20 minutes. The newcomers wern't given any guidance and it felt like a level 2 class. It would probably be really helpful to state in the class info that some previous vinyasa experience, or knowledge of pose names are expected. Luckily I'm still within my introductory offer phase so I didn't pay outright for the class...but it could potentially be a waste of money for somebody else thinking they're going into a class that doesn't meet their expectations. My only other critisism would be the space issue which has been a problem in a lot of classes. I wish they would allow less people into classes, but that means less money so I guess that one can't be helped! Overall, I enjoy it here and will probably go once a week once my offer has expired.

I have loved teaching and practicing at triyoga for a decade now. The owners and management team do an amazing job of accommodating many different styles of yoga, a near impossible task.

Triyoga is one of the few yoga spaces in London where both the teaching and the atmosphere are just right. Beautiful spaces with lots of light and top quality yoga lessons and wellness treatments.
